New and Improved Quibbles 'n' Bits

Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman paid a visit to the United States, meeting with his counterpart, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. In no uncertain terms he made it clear that Israel has no intention of halting construction in established settlements in Judea and Samaria.

"We cannot accept this vision absolutely, completely freezing these settlements. I think we must keep natural growth."

Serving as the Marack administration's foreign policy parrot, Hillary reiterated that they want a complete freeze.

Are you people deaf? Really...ARE YOU DEAF??? Israel, a sovereign nation, has told you, from its low level envoys, up to the Prime Minister, that this construction is not going to stop. I think it bears repeating that the Pajama administration's policy of not dictating policy to sovereign nations does not apply to Israel. Which is why my reaction to Clinton's statement that:

"Our commitment to Israel's security is and will remain a cornerstone of our foreign policy."

is LIAR! LIAR! PANTSUIT ON FIRE!

All indications are that the Marack Administration's policy is that Israel should withdraw to the 1949 ceasefire lines, relinquish control of East Jerusalem, evacuate the settlements, and accept UN control of the Temple Mount. That is a policy guaranteeing no security for Israel whatsoever. Hillary, the rules for the new game have been spoken by Israel's Prime Minister. You ought to let your deaf mute boss know.

The new bit in the settlement quibbling comes in the form of an article written by former Shrub II ambassador to Israel, Daniel Kurtzer. Kurtzer contends that there was no agreement, oral or otherwise. He writes that despite letters between Shrub and Sharon and between NSC advisor Rice and Dov Weisglass, as well as negotiations led by Elliot Abrams, the Deputy National Security advisor in which Weisglass was involved, there was no agreement or understanding of any kind. Abrams (who was actually in the room) wrote that the understanding was established. So Kurtzer, who backed Marack in the 2008 election, and probably insulates his house with Soros money, is calling Abrams and Weisglass liars.

Just so we're clear; the Deputy National Security Advisor, who was in the room conducting the negotiations on the settlement issue with Ariel Sharon's government, including Dov Weisglass, says there was an understanding between the two governments that construction could continue in established settlements, as long as no additional land was acquired, and no financial incentives were being given to move there. The former Shrub ambassador to Israel, who was not in the room, and who backed Marack says this isn't true.

Hmm...whom to believe. The Pajama shill, or the former Shrub administration official who led the negotiations?

This is the contradictory evidence Hillary has been keeping up her sleeve? This administration should resign out of sheer embarrassment.

But in spite of White House posturing, the so-called "natural growth" construction will continue. The White House will cave. The Pajama Amateur Hour thought it could push Israel on the settlement issue because their take is that large numbers of American Jews are against the building of settlements. That may be true, but what their analysis failed to take into account was that when Marack went to Cairo, and so flagrantly threw Israel under the bus, American Jews would start turning against him, regardless of their feelings on the settlement issue, which is exactly what's happening. Whoops!

Indications are continuing to show that an agreement will be reached on the settlement construction. Translation? Marack is looking for a way to back down without looking like he backed down, and the Israelis are deciding whether they should help him out in that regard. If it were me, he'd have to offer up something pretty good to not let him piss in the wind.

Meanwhile, Hamas is helping Iran put down the pro-opposition demonstrations in Iran. And Dhimmi Carter wants Hamas taken off the US terrorist organization list. Pajama's entire Mideast policy stance is collapsing before his eyes. The mullahs are still trying to put down the protests, using Hamas terrorists (the same ones he thinks should be part of a Palestinian unity sham) as muscle, and is remaining silent when the White House could potentially precipitate an overthrow of the mullahs.

You leftist and liberal pricks who pushed this asshole, who swamped the internet with your fascist bullshit...there's your fucking hope and change on the streets of Iran.

No turbans. No robes. No beards. This is the youth of Iran shedding its blood in the name of freedom. The fact that these elections are mullah backed shams means nothing. This is already beyond the election issue and the White House is doing nothing.

But Israel better freeze those settlements and commit suicide or Marack will be so mad.
