It's the same in any lingo

How can one be compelled to accept slavery? I simply refuse to do the master's bidding. He may torture me, break my bones to atoms and even kill me. He will then have my dead body, not my obedience. Ultimately, therefore, it is I who am the victor and not he, for he has failed in getting me to do what he wanted done. ~ Mahatma Gandhi
If I am not for myself, who will be for me? If I am not for others, what am I? If not now, when? ~ Rav Hillel, Pirke Avot

Judea's Eleven

Yesterday, while protesters took to the streets of Jerusalem to remind Prime Minister Netanyahu of his promises to resist the creation of an Arab state west of the Jordan River, Israeli youth were in Judea and Samaria erecting outposts in the hills, in defiance of US envoy George “Carp Face” Mitchell’s visit with the Prime Minister to discuss what else…? Settlements. I suppose that a measure of comfort can be taken as we approach the 9th of Av, that in the midst of renewed pressure for the collapse of Israel, the sound of hammers rings out through the hills of Yehudah and Shomron.

Judenrein, the evacuation of all Jews from Judea and Samaria, as well as east Jerusalem, is still the Marack White House’s policy. Carp Face was back in Jerusalem to try and hash it out with Bibi, but to no avail. In the meantime, the youth of Israel are demonstrating that their commitment to Eretz Yisrael is unyielding. Overnight they erected 11 outposts as part of "Operation 11" which served as a demonstration to Carp Face that there are Jews who are not going to bow to American pressure to stop building in their ancestral lands. By the end of the night, two of the outposts had been pulled down by the IDF, but nine remained. According to Arutz Sheva, some of the outposts that were built were Inbalim, near Ma'ale Michmash, Givat Egoz near Neriya, and Oz Yonaton, near Kochav Ya'akov. Others that were still being worked on Tuesday morning included the Judean community of Mitzpeh Avichai, near Hevron, and the Samarian communities of Nofei Yarden, near Shilo and Reches Sela, south of Shechem.

There was a time when I considered the construction of these outposts as a nuisance, dividing the Israeli public, and giving the Arabs an excuse to antagonize Israel. Since the evacuation of Gush Katif in 2005, which only lead to an increase in rocket attacks from Hamas, and ultimately Hamas assuming complete control of Gaza, these outposts in Judea and Samaria serve a greater purpose. They reinforce the fact that the Jewish people oppose Arab apartheid (It is in fact the Arabs that wish to cleanse Judea and Samaria of Jews, and then the rest of the country, while there are millions of Arabs living in Israel who are not being asked to leave if a PA state is created...and yet the Jew haters say Israel is the apartheid state...Desmond Tutu and Dhimmi Carter will be in the region soon...no doubt they will perpetuate that lie.), and stand as a reminder to the Israeli government that there can be no compromise on Israel's continued possession of the hills of Judea and Shomron. Without them, the entire country is in range of Arab rockets, and Israel's airspace is fully compromised.

There is no Arab body politic that believes in, or embraces the concept of coexistence with the Jewish people. Israel and the Jews of Diaspora need to fully awaken and accept this reality, and need to stop pretending that if they just stopped building all would be fixed.
