Last night Hillary asked us if we were in it for her, or universal healthcare, children's advocacy, gay rights, equal rights, human rights, women's rights...on and on...the answer is yes. We were in it for you Hillary because those were the issues you stood for. YOU were the candidate that stood up for those things. Barack Obama did not, and he does not now. You were the candidate that voted against FISA. You were the candidate that warned us about the subprime mortgages last year. You were the one fighting for real universal healthcare. You were the one who said that gay rights is an issue of equal protections. You were the one who committed to withdrawing from Iraq. You were the one standing for affordable college education and universal pre-K.
Thank you for reminding us, and the Democratic Party, last night.
Yes, we support the issues you stood for; that's why we won't support Obama. He voted for FISA. He's wavered on Iraq. He's waffled on offshore drilling. He does not stand for equal protections for gays. He rejected public campaign financing. He does not stand for Democratic values. He has altered his position on every stand he claimed his campaign was about. Beyond that, he was selected by party apparatus, not the people. And that is why we Just Say No Deal.
And guess who else is may be getting ready to say no deal?
Pledged and Automatic Delegates of the Democratic Party, if you nominate Obama whatever happens in the next for years is on your heads. We will remember in November.
