I had the great nauseating displeasure of seeing Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg's introduction for Teddy last night. Now nothing against Ted. He has been a great voice for many who have none. And quite frankly it was inspiring to see him take the stage following the procedure he faced just a couple short months ago (of course when you have the money to buy the kind of healthcare that Ted got it's a lot easier to deal with...I wonder if he thought about that when he decided to pass the torch to an idiot whose mock universal healthcare plan leaves at least 15 million people without coverage which will continue to strain the system, and continue to bloat healthcare costs for the rest of us).
But what sickened me about Caroline's intro was the moment when she said that so many people have told her over the years how her father inspired them, but she never had a candidate inspire her that way...until there was Pampers.
Who is going to deprogram all the cult followers when he loses? Who is going to hold them when they finally wake up and realize that this fraud doesn't give a damn about the poor, the working class, the uninsured; the people in this country that need help the most? What will they do when they realize that the change they believe in would have just been a shifting of the beneficiaries of their tax dollars from Haliburton to Wright, Pfleger, Barrow, Soros, and the rest of the Rezkos who aided him?
Not me. I'll be the one saying, "I told you so."
