It's the same in any lingo

How can one be compelled to accept slavery? I simply refuse to do the master's bidding. He may torture me, break my bones to atoms and even kill me. He will then have my dead body, not my obedience. Ultimately, therefore, it is I who am the victor and not he, for he has failed in getting me to do what he wanted done. ~ Mahatma Gandhi
If I am not for myself, who will be for me? If I am not for others, what am I? If not now, when? ~ Rav Hillel, Pirke Avot

Taste the Rainbow

The Torah tells us that after the flood Noah entered into a covenant with God, sealed with the rainbow symbolizing the promise that the world would not again be destroyed by flood.  Fitting that two rainbows appeared today while the sons and daughters of Shem are drawing each other's blood...again.

I was lucky enough to catch a picture of them.

It's time for a new covenant I think, one in which the politics of violence, government by kleptocracy, and the profiteering by hate all come to and end.

And a world free from the invasion forces of Planet Asshat would also be nice.

What would be the natural wonder that would symbolize the promise that the world won't be destroyed by stupid idiots...

Certainly not this...

Hey Shtuey, are you in the triangle area? I think I saw that same rainbow yesterday out of my office window. Funny part is on the other side of the building the sky was orange and the wind was blowing like a hurricane...looked like I was on mars.

Same rainbow GCH. The sky was bizarre. I thought we were going to have a tornado or something from the look of that sky. It was wicked.
