How can one be compelled to accept slavery? I simply refuse to do the master's bidding. He may torture me, break my bones to atoms and even kill me. He will then have my dead body, not my obedience. If You Don't Vote Black You Must Be Wack!

The Pampers O'Asshat campaign has dusted off a moldy oldie from the primaries.  If you don't vote for Pampers you must be a racist.  Here's a little example.

Mary Mitchell, I have this to say to you, you race baiting poor excuse for a journalist.

Republicans always fall in line behind their nominee.  The fact that Obama is black has no bearing whatsoever.  The DNC could have nominated Pat Boone.  If he ran with a "D" in front of his name Republicans wouldn't vote for him.

Obama's problem is with Independents and Democrats.  As an Independent (read former Democrat) who is voting against Obama, and has been fighting for the civil rights of ALL people, including gays (whom Donna Brazile and Leah Daughtry believe should not be considered to be involved in a struggle for civil rights as they consider that offensive to African Americans), for as long as I can remember, I think I'm well aware of my biases.  I'm biased against fascists and asshats like Obama.  Skin color's got nothing to do with it.

The Oxford American dictionary declares that fascism includes, "...a contempt for democracy, an insistence on obedience to a powerful leader, and a strong demagogic approach." If that does not define what we've watched the Democratic Party become over the past year under Howard Dean and Barack Obama then what does?

It is an undeniable fact that the Obama campaign violated the caucus rules, filed false names on sign up sheets, locked out Clinton voters, and intimidated Clinton voters into either voting for Obama, or leaving the caucus altogether. It is an undeniable fact that on May 31, 2008 the Democratic Party violated its own charter and sunshine laws to disenfranchise 2.3 million people. It is an undeniable fact that the Democratic Party did the same at its own national convention, threatening and strong arming its delegates to vote for Barack Obama, forcing the delegates to vote behind closed doors, and then never releasing the full tabulations of those votes. It is an undeniable fact that the roll call was rigged to make sure there was no possible way democracy would be served, and no way Senator Clinton would become the Democratic Party's nominee.  If, knowing the above information, you support Barack Obama you do not believe in the principles of the Democratic Party. If you support Barack Obama you do not believe in the principles of the Constitution of the United States. If you support Barack Obama you are a supporter of fascism.  How ya like them apples Mary?

I hate to break it to you, but Dr. King's dream was not the electing of a Black President. His dream was that we as Americans would stand as one people in defense of each other's rights. That regardless of the color of our skin we would fight for the rights of a fellow American as if we were fighting for our own. Barack Obama and the current leadership of the Democratic Party have stepped on our rights, and have used race as a wedge to divide us. Obama is the very antithesis of King's dream. If you believe in MLK and what he stood for then you will not vote for Barack Obama now or ever.

I have said to people on a number of occasions that I can forgive African Americans who vote for Obama because he's black, or at least looks black.  But that doesn't stop me from saying that if they do they are the biggest dupes in this election.  Pampers doesn't give a damn about the Black Community except that they vote for him.  Why do you think Jesse Jackson wants to cut his balls off?  Because in all this time he has not spoken to African American issues.  He has not gone to their poorest neighborhoods.  He has not made it clear what an Obama presidency will mean to them beyond being able to say they finally got a black man in the White House.  If I were black I'd be pissed at him too.  But that's okay, as an American I'm pissed at him enough.

Shtuey! You frakkin' rascist! Oops, that makes me one too, and a cloaked republican, and funded by the republican party, and a dupe, and ....oh I could go on with all the names we have been called. I'd rather stay with the term that we both know to be true - You are a Patriot and a True American. Keep it up!

Wow, straight talk. What a refreshing change. On the topic, here's a comment I sent a couple of days ago to some major news organizations (which will, of course, never touch it).

Keep up the good work.

To the question several have asked: Why are the DNC (and many Democrats in the rapture with them) so deaf, dumb and blind to what is in front of their noses? Why has the media (with rare but welcome exception) not only adopted the Three Blind Mice approach to Barack Obama, but seemingly become protective of him, attacking those who raise the questions, those who might accuse him of having jay-walked when he was a youngster (not saying he did, but I did so he probably did, too -- but don't dare bring it up).

The following is in response to a press report about polling potential voters to discern whether or not there was a "hidden" racial bias in the electorate that was working AGAINST Barack Obama.

I don't suggest the following is the total answer to the case of mass blindness, but I think it is relevant.

I call it a mass National Exorcism (below) but I'll let you draw your own conclusions.

I thought journalists were supposed to check what they’re told, check sources, talk to people about whom things are said to see if those people have a reaction, i.e., check out the story.

Used to be that way. Now, it seems, with the Internet and instant communication, everybody is stumbling over themselves to get it out as fast as they can. It’s led to “What They Said” journalism. We report what somebody said because….. well, because they said it. The fact that they said it makes it news.

Well, no, it doesn't. But the attitude might explain laziness. It does not explain willful distortion and refusal to ask obvious, relevant, important questions. It's left to the bloggers of the world to do the job of journalists while journalists have become mouthpieces.

Why is no news organization in the America, this grand and open nation that's afraid of nothing, particularly the truth, unable to utter the word “racism” with their finger pointed at black people? It’s absolutely astounding. Are you afraid of being called something? Is that what’s turning people who call themselves professional journalists into frightened children, who question nothing (a certain candidate says or does) and merely spit out whatever somebody tells them?

Actually, it's worse than that. Our Third Estate (the name hardly fits anymore) is now doing polls to ask if non-black people are going to vote against Barack Obama simply because he’s (partially) black? And we’re following these "surveys" up with analysis suggesting that this "hidden racism" might affect the election and prevent the election of the first legitimate (I use their term and use it very lightly — I can give you several names of black leaders in a number of areas, military, political and business, who are far more qualified to hold the office of President of the United States than is this man) black candidate for President of the US?

I have a big new flash for news people. Something over 93% of black voters are, according to the best polling, voting for Barack Obama. In a number of states, this tidal wave level of support can make the difference for him. It’s a significant factor in his having gotten the nomination in the first place. And it's sort of understandable, I guess, though that's another topic.

The question is, how many polls have been taken to determine if any of those 93% are voting for Barack Obama "only" because he’s half African American? The media won’t even ask the question because they're afraid the Obama police will come to their station, harass them and their audience, call their editors, clog their phone lines, blog about them in the most vile terms imaginable.

I’d hope it’s for those reasons and others like them. At least that's an explanation. To think that they just never thought of it? That would be disturbing.

To think that they don't ask the question because they're in on it (the campaign to crown Barack Obama), which is, unfortunately, the most logical conclusion (as with any scientific question, the most obvious choice is always correct, until disproved), begs for an answer.

WHY? This is dysfunctional behavior.

It’s as if the entire “intellectual” mass (a fallacy of nomenclature - trust me — all the smart people aren’t on one side of this campaign) is engaged in The Final Reparation. The culmination of the “pay us back” mentality that seems to plague this country.

I often wonder what would have happened if people had just come to America from Nairobi, or Tunisia, Morocco, Senegal, Ghana, Chad, and other similar regions of the world, as have people from Korea, Japan, Romania, Turkey, Scotland, Austria, Syria, Yemen, and others, without having come here as slaves. It’s as if it’s created some special status for black people, some notion that everybody has to make up for this historical fact. I’ve never enslaved anyone, nor would I. My ancestors never owned slaves nor knew anyone who did. Believe it or not, everyone in the South was not a plantation owner. You wouldn’t think so, today.

And all the bigotry is not confined to the South. And all bigotry is not directed only toward black people.

Ask the women in this campaign, both Democrat and Republican. I've seen cartoons that would make Jim Crow blush.

What's the point? That racism is also an equal opportunity slander. And to think that it's a one-way street in this campaign, one of the most vicious in modern history, is patently absurd.

A personal historical note on the subject. When I went to the University of Michigan (yes, the Berkley of the Midwest, where both the SDS was formed and the Peace Corps was first announced by President Kennedy), a black dorm mate wouldn't speak to me. I didn't understand it since I was friends with his equally black roommate and had never passed so much as a cross (or any) word with the guy. Then his roommate explained it to me. "You know how it is; you're from the South."

Well, I was never raised that way so no, I didn't know "how it is." But, I know that those same seeds this man planted in a dorm wing sprouted a long time ago and have been given root and grown, unseen on the surface, or in polite company. And I see the vestiges of both attitudes -- the one that gave that silent young man his rage -- and the one that gave me my rage at his judging me for the color of my skin or the geographic region of my birth years before -- very much alive today.

I suppose I was supposed to do something to make up for what happened to some other people a long time ago that I had no hand in. The kicker is, there was nothing I could do to meet that test. I could never become un-white or be "born again" at least not in a different city.

Well, today, it's not one little incident between dorm mates. It's the nation. It's the need of the left to purge their souls for crimes they never committed but for which they have become willingly convinced they bear responsibility.

The payback is, apparently, the Presidency.

A high price. A very high price, indeed. And who will pay that price, in the end? My children and theirs. Do we know how close America is to breaking at this moment in time? Does anybody realize where our money comes from? A printing press. Does anybody realize who owns us, today and will own more of us tomorrow? The Chinese. Who do you think buys our bonds?

Who do we think is going to supply the $700+ Billion we're about to spend to bail out foolish companies who made their own bed (for us to lay in)? This nation is in crisis. To decide that now is the time to help make Michelle Obama proud of her country is not only foolish and misguided; it is self-destructive.

But, nobody will crawl up under this Trojan Horse to unhook the trap door. And anyone who tries is shot down with verbal darts more poisonous than any I've ever seen unleashed in a campaign. It is vicious and vile and... yes, racist.

Now is not the time to see no evil, hear no evil, and speak no evil. Instead, how about speaking the truth? That would be a start.

But, I know and we all know, that is not going to happen. This payback goes back so far and so deep that the "powers that be" couldn't turn the Titanic now if they saw the iceberg. And, right now, they're all in the ship's lounge, basking in the attention of The One, who's telling them all what good and honorable people they are to be so enlightened as to vote for him regardless of his race and for letting him give fill-in-the-blank answers to serious questions that can be changed based on the day, the polls and the audience.

Well, I have some bad news. There's a Trojan Horse rolling down Constitution Avenue. And inside is nothing but a tape recorder, blaring out platitudes, throwing reparation candy to the news anchors and other children gathered along the path of the coronation processional.

I know. The more I raise these issues, the more reflexive responses I’ll get, calling me who knows what. And, as the volume goes up, the quality of the discourse will go down.

It’s always been true of mobs, and it remains true today (there are exceptions — Poland — those mobs were right — the demonstration in the square in China — those people were right — but they were asking for freedom — of what — of opportunity — who thinks that we don’t have that in this country — you’re fooling yourself — guess what, if you flunk classes in high school, you aren’t going to be president). Okay, enough out of me.

But, you see what’s going on out here. I’m one of the average, every-day, middle-of-the road people. In fact, my staunch Republican friend calls me an “apologist” liberal. I wouldn’t go that far but I’m definitely a democrat-leaning voter (or was until this year — the democratic party has been hijacked by a bin of loonies — whoever thought it was a good idea to turn the party over to the man who set his own campaign on fire until it went up in flames, the shrieking Howard Dean, I can’t imagine — that’s one for the DNC record books of shooting yourself in the foot).

And look at what I think, a recovering Democrat? You can imagine how other people are reacting to this blatant, concerted bend-over-backwards please-take-the-presidency-and-forgive-us-for-our-sins, look-at-me-I’m-enlightened-enough-to-vote-for-a-black-president national exorcism.

Bottom line. Do members of the media cheer-leading squad at BHO University seriously think Barack Obama might lose this election simply because he’s part African American? Is that why they took the poll, and others like it?

The truth is (and I know, this makes me a total racist for saying it — even though it’s a fact), Barack Obama wouldn’t even be his party's NOMINEE if he weren’t part African American and he surely wouldn’t have a snowball’s chance (I know snowballs are white, an obvious racial subliminal message from me, no doubt) of being elected President.

Does anybody out there have the courage to print that headline? Or take that survey?

Across the ocean, they know it. The rest of the world knows it. To use a plantation analogy, are the media and the DNC all descendants of Scarlett: “I’ll worry about that (write that story) tomorrow"?
