It's the same in any lingo

How can one be compelled to accept slavery? I simply refuse to do the master's bidding. He may torture me, break my bones to atoms and even kill me. He will then have my dead body, not my obedience. Ultimately, therefore, it is I who am the victor and not he, for he has failed in getting me to do what he wanted done. ~ Mahatma Gandhi
If I am not for myself, who will be for me? If I am not for others, what am I? If not now, when? ~ Rav Hillel, Pirke Avot

Defend Democracy! Support the Denver Group Pledge Drive

I am a firm supporter of the Denver Group, and their latest initiative Democrats for Principle Before Party. As some of you may know Act Blue, the fundraising clearing house for Democratic Party candidates and organizations, gave the boot to the Denver Group as they did not take the Pampers loyalty oath. You see, the group's founders have a problem supporting a candidate who received his party's nomination as a result of a rigged process. Clearly that's not a problem for Act Blue, or the Democratic Party. But it should be a problem for any American who values liberty and democracy over party loyalty. Count me among that corps.

Though the Denver Group and Democrats for Principle Before Party is no longer listed with Act Blue, they are able to take donations via Paypal. Supporters are also contacting The Denver Group to let them know they are sending contributions via snail mail. The Denver Group would like to keep a running tally of donations received so they can post it. If you are sending a check to TDG please drop them an email at TheDenverGroup@gmail.com with your first name and the amount you pledge to send. The pledge list will be posted at their site so that everyone will see that there are still some of us who cherish liberty over ambition, democracy over demagogues.

Also, Heidi Li Feldman is running a match drive for the Denver Group.  She will send $500 to a couple of maxed out Denver Group Donors to help them in their support drive for families of Utah soldiers.  These are the folks that helped me get to Denver so I could speak at The Rise, and report on the Democratic devilry.  Trust me when I say that this is a worthy cause.  Is there a better cause than helping the families of those who put their lives on the line for our nation?  If you think of one you let me know.
