The Israel/Nazi Connection
The tired meme that Israel is a Nazi/Apartheid state continues to get plenty of play among the brain dead. As long as they're on the subject, let's talk about a legitimate connection between Nazis and the Middle East, specifically through the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Muhammed Amin al-Husseini.
In 1929, following many years of relative peace and calm between Arabs and Jews, Husseini incited the Arabs to riot, claiming that Jews were attempting to defile mosques in Jerusalem, by calling out, "Itback al-Yahud," "Slaughter the Jews!" On August 23rd, the day after British officials assured Jewish leaders they had control of the situation, full scale rioting broke out throughout the Palestinian Mandate.
From Palestine Facts:
Arab mobs attacked Jews in Jerusalem, Motza, Hebron, Safed, Jaffa, and other parts of the country. The Old City of Jerusalem was hit particularly hard. By the next day, the Haganah was able to mount a defense and further attacks in Jerusalem were repulsed. But, the violence in Jerusalem generated rumors throughout the country, many carrying fabricated accounts of Jewish attempts to defile Muslim holy places, all to inflame the Arab residents. Villages were plundered and destroyed by Arab mobs. While attacks on Jews in Tel Aviv and Haifa were thwarted by Jewish defenses, there were Jewish deaths in Hebron, where 67 Jewish men and women were slaughtered and Safed, where 18 Jews were killed, as well as scattered other losses totaling 133 Jewish deaths, with more than 300 wounded. The British took no action to protect the Jews in Hebron, the population either being killed or forced to flee, with no Jews living there again until 1967.
Once Naziism took hold in Germany, the Mufti was all over it like a monkey on a banana. Again from Palestine Facts:
In 1937 the Grand Mufti expressed his solidarity with Germany, asking the Nazi Third Reich to oppose establishment of a Jewish state, stop Jewish immigration to Palestine, and provide arms to the Arab population. Following an assassination attempt on the British Inspector-General of the Palestine Police Force and the murder by Arab extremists of Jews and moderate Arabs, the Arab Higher Committee was declared illegal by the British. The Grand Mufti lost his office of President of the Supreme muslim Council, his membership on the Waqf committee, and was forced into exile in Syria in 1937. The British deported the Arab mayor of Jerusalem along with other members of the Arab Higher Committee. In 1940, Husseini urged the Axis Powers to acknowledge the Arab right to:
According to documentation from the Nuremberg and Eichmann trials, the Nazi Germany SS helped finance al-Husseini's efforts in the 1936-39 revolt in Palestine. Adolf Eichmann actually visited Palestine and met with al-Husseini at that time and subsequently maintained regular contact with him later in Berlin.
...settle the question of Jewish elements in Palestine and other Arab countries in accordance with the national and racial interests of the Arabs and along the lines similar to those used to solve the Jewish question in Germany and Italy. After aiding the pro-Nazi revolt in Syria, Husseini spent the rest of the war in Berlin as Hitler's guest, where he advocated the extermination of Jews and helped recruit Muslims to help the SS kill Jews in the Balkans. An Eichmann deputy testified at the Nuremberg trials:
The Mufti was one of the initiators of the systematic extermination of European Jewry and had been a collaborator and adviser of Eichmann and Himmler in the execution of this plan. ... He was one of Eichmann's best friends and had constantly incited him to accelerate the extermination measures. I heard him say, accompanied by Eichmann, he had visited incognito the gas chamber of Auschwitz. Now for those apologists who will say that this was one man who does not represent anything in the here and now, I will say this. When Husseini died he was succeeded in the leadership of radical Palestinian Arabs by his nephew, Mohammed Abdel-Raouf Arafat As Qudwa al-Hussaeini, better known as Yasser Arafat.
But let us return to Hebron shall we? If we adhere to the Israeli as Nazi canard we could extrapolate that the Israeli Nazis would, since they have the weapons, drive all Arabs from the city to make way for religious Jews who wish to live in the city that is the second holiest in Judaism. Instead, the government of Ehud Olmert forcibly expelled Jews in the name of peace. One action of removal took place in early December, 2008 as the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas was falling apart with an escalation of Hamas rocket fire into Israel.
But I'm sure the Leftist Liberal Jew/Israel bashers will continue to wrongly call Israel a Nazi state. Let's see what these morons make of this AP story that appeared in the Jerusalem Post.
Palestinian authorities disbanded a youth orchestra from a West Bank refugee camp after it played for a group of Holocaust survivors in Israel, a local official said on Sunday.Quick Conflationists, you have 2 minutes hate to come up with a way to blame the Israelis/Jews for this. Go!Adnan Hindi of the Jenin camp called the Holocaust a "political issue" and accused conductor Wafa Younis of unknowingly dragging the children into a political dispute.
He added that Younis has been barred from the camp and the apartment where she taught the 13-member Strings of Freedom orchestra has been boarded up.
On Saturday, The Jerusalem Post found that leaders and representatives of the Jenin refugee camp condemned the participation of Palestinian teenagers from the camp in a concert honoring Holocaust survivors in Holon last week.~snip~The event drew strong condemnations from refugee camp leaders and political activists, who accused the organizers of exploiting the children for "political purposes." [Shtuey note: Ironic to hear this from a leader of the PA mafia that has been exploiting its children for 40 years]
Adnan al-Hinda, director of the Popular Committee for Services in the Jenin refugee camp, said that the participation of the children in the concert was a "dangerous matter" because it was directed against the cultural and national identity of the Palestinians. [Shtuey note: This identity being that of people who see the Jews as subhuman and only worthy of genocide, as advocated by the Grand Mufti and his successor Yassir Arafat]
He accused "suspicious elements" of being behind the Holon event, saying they were seeking to "impact the national culture of the young generation and cast doubt about the heroism and resistance of the residents of the camp during the Israeli invasion in April 2002." [Shtuey note: Apparently, Palestinian children are not permitted to see Israelis as anything other than their oppressors. Knowing there is a separate reality might lead to something terrible, like peace breaking out]~snip~
Ramzi Fayad, a spokesman for various political factions in the Jenin refugee camp, also condemned the participation of the teenagers in the Holocaust event, saying all the groups were strongly opposed to any form of normalization with Israel.
Leaflets distributed in the Jenin area over the weekend also attacked the event and accused the organizers of exploiting the children. The leaflets also warned the Palestinians against participating in similar events in the future.

It looks like Pampers has more legal troubles on the way. This latest coming from an unlikely source.

Conflation?
Much ado has been made over this cartoon by almost nearly clever cartoonist Pat Oliphant (for an excellent assessment as to why the publishing of this cartoon by the New York Slimes is good, go here).
Is it anti-Israel, anti-semitic, or both? There are some people who really need it to be just anti-Israel, who would like to be able to criticize Israel, and say a Jewish state shouldn't exist, but not be seen as a Judeophobe.
There is certainly an argument to be made that this cartoon is critical of Israel only. The only problem is the nature of the commentary: A fascist Jewish state (headless, which I guess means brainless) is actively seeking to destroy the people of Gaza (consume them it appears). There's only one problem with this. The narrative is untrue. As I have said again and again there is no genocide going on. You can call Gaza the Warsaw Ghetto, and call the Israelis Nazis all you like. It doesn't change the fact that the comparison is false, and racist.
To put Pat Deficant's cartoon in context, let's take a look at some cartoons that have appeared in Arab publications in Europe and the Middle East, all depicting the star of David in them.
Let's start off with a real humdinger. This little gem was published in Ash-Sharq out of Qatar in 2006. On the left is "Islam is caracitured." On the right the "Western Media" bows down before the "Zionism" toilet bowl, with "Holocaust" flames emanating from it. I suppose this one supports the notion that the Jews (or is it just Israel?) uses the Holocaust to subdue the Western media. Perhaps the idea here is that Israel (or is it just the Jews?) uses the Holocaust as an excuse for its horrid actions; like existing. I think a better caption might be: "The Holocaust: Israel's get out of jail free card."
I'm sure the world would breathe a big sigh of relief if we stopped saying, "Never again," and said, "Never mind," instead. Sorry. The Jewish people are not going to forget how the world enabled the Nazi extermination of Jews, gays, and gypsies, and shut its doors until 11 million of us were dead. We are not forgetting, and as long as the world continues to actively try and kill us, we will not forgive. The job of the Jew is not the expatiation of sin, guilt, or whatever it is that people feel that makes them think we should just stop talking about it. And whether you choose to accept it or not, watching Schindler's List does not impart the collective and legitimate fear that anywhere can become unsafe for us at any time. That's as inane as telling Lakota people that you saw Dances With Wolves and feel bad for them. You might be better served going to Auschwitz so you can sit alone with your thoughts in a gas chamber, or at least go to the Holocaust Museum in Washington D.C. and walk under the casting of the Arbeit Macht Frei gate and try to get a sense of what it must have been like to separated from your family, stripped naked, and tatooed like cattle, while the smell of burning human flesh filled your nostrils.
This one (in color...cool) is from Al-Bayan out of the United Arab Emerates. Ah yes, the Jews (or is it Israel?) control the world, like a yo-yo on a string. That's right, 13.3 million people control the world. I'm still waiting to get a single dime from this "world Jewish conspiracy" that we've supposedly got going (so are my parents, the rest of my family, and every other Jew I know. Believe me, it would be nice to get some relief from living paycheck to paycheck). There is a special category of stupid fucking idiot that subscribes to this theory.
This one is from Saudi Arabia's Al-Yawm. Born to kill? Yep, that's the Israelis for ya (or is it the Jews?) I think I'm going to rewrite that little diddy that Chevy Chase sang in Caddy Shack:

By the way, there are 1.66 BILLION Muslims in the world. So go figure.
This one is from Saudi Arabia's Al-Yawm. Born to kill? Yep, that's the Israelis for ya (or is it the Jews?) I think I'm going to rewrite that little diddy that Chevy Chase sang in Caddy Shack:
I was born to love you
I was born to lick your face
You were born to kill me
But I was born to kill you first.
But let's finish up with a bang, gang.
This one is from Al-Watan out of Oman (wow, four different cartoons from four different countries that hate the Jews (or is it just Israel they hate?). This one is captioned, "The feast of the Immolation," and, "The Islamic World's attitude?" Yes, the blood thirsty, born to kill Jew (or is it Israeli?) is beheading Muslims. Funny, I've never seen any video being broadcast on Israeli Jew TV of Israeli Jews beheading anybody, but we sure get plenty of video of Muslims beheading Jews and westerners. I also remember seeing footage of an IDF soldier being torn limb from limb by Arabs during the second intifada. Maybe this cartoon is just a case of Freudian projection.
The Magen David (the star of David) was the seal used by King David. It is the ancient form of the letter Daled, identical to the Delta, with an inverted Daled on top of it. It is the symbol of the Jewish people, adorning our synagogues, caskets, ritual objects, and our homes for thousands of years. It is what the Nazis forced us to sew to our clothing so they could easily identify us. It is the symbol adorning the Israeli flag. There is no separating these meanings for a Jew. The Oliphant cartoon is a political statement against Israel. It is a Judeophobic statement against Jews when the star of David is used. Either Oliphant is a stupid fucking idiot who doesn't understand the meaning of the symbol, in which case he should put the pen down and step away from the drafting table, or he knows exactly what he's doing; enabling Judeophobes to hide behind "criticism" of Israelis as blood thirsty killers who eat Palestinians like sharks.
What would we do without Oliphant to remind us, and the rest of the world, that we are born to kill? Probably go on with our lives with a greater measure of peace.

What Is This Drudgery of Yours
Every year, on the first night of the festival of Pesach (Passover), Jews gather around the world to celebrate the night that they were delivered out of bondage in Egypt, and fashioned into a nation. We recount the drowning of the Hebrew babies, plagues, signs, and wonders. The story of the enslavement and liberation of the Israelites is so engrained in the DNA of the Jewish soul that we recount the tale declaring that we ourselves were liberated, that we were at Sinai to receive the Creator’s law from the Divine Presence itself. Out of this event began the transmission of the Mishnah, the Oral Law, which Moses transmitted to Joshua, and then tribal elders, until it was disseminated through the population. This line of transmission remained unbroken until the exile of the ten tribes of Israel, which were taken into captivity in Babylon. It was in Babylon that the Mishnah was written down and codified into what is collectively known as the Talmud, the Jewish legal codex that is the basis for American civil law, which was studied at Harvard by such notables as John Adams.
It is an incredible time line from Sinai to 18th century Massachusetts, but the line exists nonetheless. Am Yisrael, the Jewish people are but one of many nations with a rich oral history. Indigenous cultures around the world have kept track of years, and events in such a manner. It is as engrained in their DNA as our story is engraved in ours. Some cultures, the Maya for instance, have a written codex to which we can refer. These histories are studied. They are honored. They are respected. Not so with Am Yisrael. In fact, there is a great deal of money and effort placed into deconstructing and devaluing ancient Jewish history as well as the modern, to, which the culture of Holocaust denial can attest.
In recent years it has been fashionable to attempt to debunk, and classify as myth, the Hebrew exodus from Egypt. It begins with the usual application of science to attempt to explain whether or not the ten plagues could have taken place. From there it grows into determining how the Red Sea was parted (it is commonly known among scholars that Yam Suf is not the “Red Sea”, but the “sea of reeds,” a shallow body of water that was perhaps the scene of a tidal bore phenomenon, or possibly a wetland area that withdrew temporarily as the result of tsunami. Perhaps the Midrash is correct that the natural events that took place at the time of the exodus were set in motion at the time the universe was created. Perhaps it is entirely legend. But some feel a great sense of urgency to present evidence that nothing related to any of these events ever took place. I will not be entertaining the various theories here, just this need to debunk the exodus story.
To my mind it speaks to an ability to nullify the Jewish people. Our national identity begins with the exodus. Prior to this we were a group of family clans claiming ancestry from Abraham and Sarah, his son Isaac and wife Rebecca, and from the twelve sons of Israel (Jacob), Rachel and Leah (the origins of the twelve tribes of Israel). It is also in the exodus story that we find the binding of the Jewish people in covenant with God, when we consented to receiving and upholding the law and way of life that came with it (with varying degrees of success and failure throughout our history).
What many (I will go so far as to say most) people do not understand is that the Torah is not supposed to be accepted at face value based on the text of the story. In fact, it is considered foolish, if not on the level of sinful, to accept the Torah literally without examination of its inner meanings.
What does it mean to be enslaved in Egypt? Is it to say that the Hebrews were in fact slaves in Egypt, or were they spiritually and morally enslaved? Who were the masters, the Egyptians, a region rife with corruption, perversion, and wars? What does liberation from bondage refer to? Is it physical, spiritual, or cosmic entrapment? What enslaves a person? Vice, greed, excess, self-deprecation, immorality, addictions; all of these things enslave us.
And the battles of the Torah; did they take place, or are we looking at a battle of more cosmic proportions that borders on the mystical and lies at the very essence of the conflict humanity faces to overcome its faults and reach a purer state of existence?
[I'd like to note here that it is ironic that some commentators are fond of pointing out that the Jews invaded Canaan and went to war with the idol worshipping peoples there. But often these are the same people claiming there was no Jewish presence in the land...most illogical Captain.]
These are very deep matters of great importance to the Jew who becomes immersed in unraveling the mysteries within the Torah. I think it’s safe to say that a majority of Jews, and virtually all non-Jews have little or no understanding (my knowledge, though considered relatively vast by some, is cursory at best, relative to those whose lives are immersed in the study of Torah). As it says in the Tehilim (the Book of Psalms), “The ignorant man does not know, nor does the fool understand.”
In terms of archeology we have a great deal of evidence as to what went on in the Middle East, particularly in the Greek and Roman eras. But still the Palestinian Authority excavates the Temple Mount in an effort to strip away any evidence of a Jewish presence there, despite the overwhelming historical record.
Why the convenience of erasing our past? To make the past more easily palatable to the agenda of the present I suppose. Alas, a fool is a fool and is always the last to know. I think the same can be said of a hateful bigot who feigns a lack of opinion on a subject, such as say, Israel and the Arabs of the West Bank and Gaza, along with the history of the region. I am stunned at how people thinly veil an anti-Israeli or anti-Jewish agenda (we’ll present that as a distinction for idiots who think that there actually is a distinction between the two) with a claim to have no opinion, or comprehensive knowledge. These people actually think they are masking themselves. It would be hilarious if it wasn’t so fucking pathetic.
One of my personal favorite uses of historical evidence at the hypocrisy of Israelis is the bombing of the King David Hotel. Ah ha! The Jews were terrorists too, just like Hamas, the PLO, the PFLP, Islamic Jihad, the Al Aqsa Martyrs, etc. But an ignorant idiot is in ignorant idiot. An act of terror is an act of terror. I can see that argument. But as long as we’re making distinctions; let’s make one here.
The King David Hotel was not a civilian target. It was the Headquarters of the British Military and British Mandate. A series of warnings were issued to the hotel switchboard, the French Consulate, and the Palestine Post newspaper. The terror groups mentioned above almost exclusively target civilians. They give no warnings, and they are typically timed to kill the greatest numbers of people. A further distinction is that the Irgun was not an organization dedicated to a genocidal policy, despite what revisionists may say. So yes, Jews adopted methods of urban warfare developed by Michael Collins in Ireland against the British (which does not seem to be vomited in the face of the people of Ireland). Call it terrorism if you like. But let’s not call it or equate it with radical jihadism and genocide. You might serve yourself better stamping “Obtuse” on your forehead. At least that would be more honest.
And so we have history’s rewriters and editors. Holocaust denial walks hand in hand with the utterly false notion that there was ever an independent country called Palestine, or even a Palestinian governing body (this is not to say that what became Israel did not have an historical Arab population. To contend this was the case is just as false). It’s amazing to me that in a region where there was no Arab nationalism until the British created it, just family controlled tribal territories, but miraculously the Palestinians had a nation that was invaded by Israel. What’s even more hilarious (and pathetic) is that people actually look at maps of the region prior to partition, see the word “Palestine,” and hold that up as evidence. “See? I told you there was a Palestine.”
So while we’re playing “Erase That History” let’s make like the Spanish Inquisition never took place, or that the Czars never sanctioned pogroms against Jews, or that the United States didn’t turn away Jewish refugees fleeing the Nazis. Let’s also pretend that the Arabs in British Palestine didn’t massacre Jews, and that Arabs drove out the majority native Jewish population of Jerusalem in bloody rioting. But the “I think I don’t remember moment” that I love most of all is when people say that bad things have been done by both sides, but it’s the Jews’ fault. That’s a classic.
So why not attempt to nullify the totality of Jewish history? Why not delegitimate the Exodus? Isn’t it easier to erase a people by conjecturing that they in fact never existed? Isn’t post modernism awesome?
A central story related in the Haggadah, the ritual text used for the Passover seder, is of a father and his four sons. The wise son asks, "Teach me the story and the laws pertaining to the Pesach." The simple son asks, "What is this?" The youngest does not yet know how to ask questions. The hateful son asks, "What is all this drudgery of yours?"
We are celebrating our liberation from bondage. Perhaps next year we will celebrate our liberation from the ignorant.

All Apologies
Well, it seems that Bob Barr, Ron Paul, and Chuck Baldwin received an apology from the Missouri Department of Public Safety for implicating their supporters as possible domestic terrorists. How nice. But the good Governor apparently has not seen fit to retract the steaming pile of bullshit the MIAC published.
Folks are getting a little overzealous when flags and familiarity with the Constitution can implicate you in being a terrorist. Aren't all our elected and law enforcement officials sworn to protect and defend the Constitution? I guess they could all be domestic terrorists too.
This is what happens in a puritanical society that isn't getting enough nookie.
I think Gogol Bordello has a great suggestion: Think locally, fuck globally.

Don't Tread On Me
For those of you who haven't heard yet, the Missouri Information Analysis Center Division of Drugs & Crime Control has issued a report listing a number of criteria to look for in regard to identifying militia oriented types, now known as domestic terrorists.
Apparently, use of the Gadsden Flag, an upside down American flag, and the Sons of Liberty flag are all signs that you are a domestic terrorist. Constitutionalists make the list also. If this is accepted by law enforcement then absolute tyranny is upon us.
I am reminded of a scene in the Kirk Douglas film Cast a Giant Shadow when Jewish refugees who ran the British naval blockade of what they called Palestine were on the beach facing British guns. Hagannah members met them on the beach. As the British prepared to fire a call comes from the crowd to change clothes so the soldiers can't tell who was already there and who were the refugees.
Go online and order one of the forbidden flags. Fly it at your home. Put a bumper sticker on your car. Fuck the fascism. Let your fellow countrymen and women know how many of us pledge allegiance to the flag and to the republic for Richard Stands. If that is considered terrorism, we are truly fucked. If standing for our indefeasible rights is criminalized then let us all be guilty together.

Some people like to say that a supporter of Israel (read Jew) will brand anyone who criticizes Israel as an anti-semite in order to stifle all critical conversation on the subject. It's like a mantra that gets spewed unthinkingly in a variety of circles. It's a position taken so reflexively, often preemptively, when accusations of anti-semitism have not even been made. It's reminiscent of people saying that Black people always play the race card when something doesn't go their way; when they don't get a job, or there's no room on the elevator, or they get offered a piece of fried chicken. And of course there was speculation by Obama supporters that those uppity coloreds were gonna riot if That One didn't get nominated in Denver because, as we all know, that's what those people do. Or was it going to be the white-guilt ridden Obamabots that were going to do it? Subliminal message: Super delegates vote for Barry, or else who knows what might happen?
Seems I recall a lot of Clinton supporters getting bent out of shape when that happened. It was racist when it was said by the media, and of course it was reverse racism when Camp Pampers did it.
But you know us pesky Jews. As soon as you say "Palestinian" we're branding you a rabid anti-semite, and it's more than okay for people to say that's what we Jews do. But this isn't something that springs out of the ground uncultivated. No, the Leftist Jew Bigot needs a coach to tell them what to think, how to feel, and who the Goliath is so they'll have someone to vilify while steadfastly protecting the perceived David. Alexander Cockburn (clearly this is a humorless fuck because, with a last name like that, the logical thing to do is change your first name to Ihava or Igotta) serves as such a coach.
Cockbird helped edit a piece of crap called "The Politics of Anti-Semitism," (his website also hawks a nice one called "The Case Against Israel"), which simultaneously creates and propagandizes the meme that the Jew will, with few exceptions, throw out the anti-semitism brand in order to crush and censor any conversation that casts Israel in a negative light. With contributors like Cynthia McKinney most people would be aware that this book is a piece of crap (the book contains an essay stating, and I am not making this up, that anti-semitism originated in the 19th century), but not the Leftist who takes any opportunity to shit on Israel. Then again, this is a guy who says that it has not been proven that humans contribute to global warming.
Here's a blurb from a review of The Politics of Anti-semitism:
Less convincing, however, are the essays covering the reasons behind the apparent symbiosis of US and Israeli policies, put forward by Alexander Cockburn, Jeffrey Blankfort (former editor of Middle East Labor Bulletin), George Suderland (a pen name for a senior congressional staffer), Kathleen and Bill Christison (both retired CIA officers and authors), and to a lesser degree, Jeffrey St. Clair...
To summarize their views -- not an easy task, even after reading those essays repeatedly -- it looks like American politics is dominated by powerful Jewish interests, the Jewish Lobby or Israel Lobby (AIPAC), the media, Hollywood, rich Jews, and powerful ideologues with dual loyalties that control the executive and legislative branches of the US government. "Jewish money" buys elections; US representatives and senators are "quislings" (p. 126); that is, expressing a "sheer groveling subservience to a foreign power" (p. 119), in Suderland's words. Congress is "Israeli-occupied territory" (p. 128). And on it goes till the reader is left with the distinct impression that, by golly, the nefarious "Jews" are at it again, or at least some of them, in the media, in commerce and industry, in entertainment, and in the corridors of power. Jeez, are those "Jews" powerful or what? It is the kind of rhetoric one would expect to find on Antiwar.com, or Rense.com, or originating with the Buchanan brigades. That's disturbing and from this writer's opinion, reprehensible, or at the least, and to give the benefit of the doubt to these authors, ill-considered rhetoric."The Politics of Anti-semitism" is a reflection of a classic Jew bashing strategy; decry anti-semitism while claiming Jews play the card so much that it nullifies its meaning. Then turn around and spread the classic memes that Jews control the Congress, the Department of State, the White House, the media, etc because that won't stir up anti-semitic sentiment or end up on Islamic and Neo-Nazi websites (reportedly, the shit written by these assholes are staples for some of these nutbags). The end-game of this strategy is to follow up with, "Don't get me wrong, I have a lot of Jewish friends," or the always classic, "I played golf with a Jewish man once, and he was very nice."
So let's take a look at what's really happening here. A handful of nutbags who have a Judeophobic axe to grind with Israel convince Leftists that Jews brand anyone who criticizes Israel's "atrocious" policies toward the Palestinians, etc as anti-semites so that you will feel bad and shut up. But what is really happening is the reverse. Judeophobes and critics of Israel, who may or may not hate Jews, use this meme to silence Israel's defenders. Obviously if we are defending Israel we must hate Palestinians, and think that Israel's critics are anti-semites, thus nullifying our arguments in their minds before the conversation even begins. We have no argument other than Israel's critics are anti-semitic (I guess the human rights of Jews and Israelis have no moral basis for defense).
Though my biggest beef with Cockface is that Counterlunch published an article by David Michael Green in which he quotes my thesis verbatim: "Barack Obama is dumber than a bag of hammers." The big difference is this guy actually thinks Pampers' presidency has the potential to be great, whereas I know for a fact that it is going to be as big, if not a bigger piece of shit than The Second Coming of Shrub.
But what can be expected from a bunch of dingdongs that published a book declaring that the all powerful all seeing Israel Lobby controls our foreign policy? I'm still trying to figure that out, as the sum game of American foreign policy chronically fucks Israel over, or have I been misreading the White House's chronic obsessive love affair with the House of Saud?
Oh wait, I'm thinking again instead of letting the publishers of a book make up my mind for me. Whoops!
Special Olympian Bowler Challenges Resident Asshole to a Match
Following his insensitive remarks on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Juan Martin Luther Lincoln Insensitive Asshole has been challenged to a bowling match by a Special Olympian bowler, Kolan McConiughey.
I've said the Resident is a sexist, misogynist pig douche. After his comments the other night he's just a fucking asshole.
Palestine Is a Victim of Arab Betrayal
Leftist idiots love to call me a mouthpiece for Israel, rabidly pro Israel, racist, etc. Here are the words of an Arab woman who grew up in Gaza telling you the unvarnished truth that I have been alluding to here. Instead of doing what Leftists always do, embracing causes which they know nothing about, they should be educating themselves. The truth shall set you free.

International donors pledged almost $4.5 billion in aid for Gaza earlier this month. During the past few years it has been very painful for me to witness the deteriorating humanitarian situation in that narrow strip where I lived as a child in the 1950s. The media tends to attribute Gaza’s decline solely to Israeli military and economic actions against Hamas. But such a myopic analysis ignores the problem’s root cause: 60 years of Arab policy aimed at cementing the Palestinian people’s status as stateless refugees to use their suffering as a weapon against Israel.
As a child in Gaza in the ’50s, I experienced the early results of this policy. Egypt, which controlled the territory then, conducted guerilla-style operations against Israel from Gaza. My father commanded these operations, carried out by Palestinian fedeyeen (Arabic for self-sacrifice). Back then, Gaza was already the front line of the Arab jihad against Israel. My father was assassinated by Israeli forces in 1956.
It was in those years that the Arab League started its Palestinian refugee policy. Arab countries implemented special laws designed to make it impossible to integrate the Palestinian refugees from the 1948 Arab war against Israel. Even descendants of Palestinian refugees who are born in another Arab country and live there their entire lives can never gain that country’s passport. Even if they marry a citizen of an Arab country, they cannot become citizens of their spouse’s country. They must remain Palestinian even though they may have never set foot in the West Bank or Gaza.
This policy of forcing a Palestinian identity on these people for eternity and condemning them to a miserable life in a refugee camp was designed to perpetuate and exacerbate the Palestinian refugee crisis. So was the Arab policy of overpopulating Gaza. The UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East, whose main political support comes from Arab countries, encourages high birthrates by rewarding families with many children.
Yasser Arafat said the Palestinian woman’s womb was his best weapon. Arab countries always push for classifying as many Palestinians as possible as refugees. As a result, about one-third of the Palestinians in Gaza still live in refugee camps. For 60 years, Palestinians have been used and abused by Arab regimes and Palestinian terrorists in their fight against Israel.
Now it is Hamas, an Islamist terror organisation supported by Iran, that is using and abusing Palestinians for this purpose. While Hamas leaders hid in the well-stocked bunkers and tunnels they prepared before they provoked Israel into attacking them, Palestinian civilians were exposed and caught in the deadly crossfire between Hamas and Israeli soldiers. As a result of 60 years of this Arab policy, Gaza has become a prison camp for 1.5 million Palestinians. Both Israel and Egypt are fearful of terrorist infiltration from Gaza - all the more so since Hamas took over - and have always maintained tight controls over their borders with Gaza.
The Palestinians continue to endure hardships because Gaza continues to serve as the launching pad for terror attacks against Israeli citizens. Those attacks come in the form of Hamas missiles that indiscriminately target Israeli kindergartens, homes and businesses. And Hamas continued these attacks more than two years after Israel withdrew from Gaza in the hope that this step would begin the process of building a Palestinian state, eventually leading to a peaceful, two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. There was no cycle of violence then, no justification for anything other than peace and prosperity.
But, instead, Hamas chose Islamic jihad. Gazans’ and Israelis’ hopes have been met with misery for Palestinians and missiles for Israelis. Hamas, an Iranian proxy, has become a danger not only to Israel but also to Palestinians as well as to neighbouring Arab states, which fear the spread of radical Islam could destabilise their countries. Arabs claim they love the Palestinian people, but they seem more interested in sacrificing them. If they really loved their Palestinian brethren, they would pressure Hamas to stop firing missiles at Israel.
In the longer term, the Arab world must end the Palestinians’ refugee status and thereby their desire to harm Israel. It’s time for the 22 Arab countries to open their borders and absorb the Palestinians of Gaza who wish to start a new life. It is time for the Arab world to truly help the Palestinians, not use them.

Progressive Dumb Asses of America
I supported Ed O'Reilly in his bid to unseat Botox ogre John Kerry in the Massachusetts primary this past September. Ed seems like a genuine guy who stands for portions of the real Democrat agenda that I support. He lost to the Botox Ogre, and is now looking for people to help retire his campaign debt. I got an email today where he sent birthday wishes to a supporter Tim Carpenter of Progressive Democrats of America. This is an organization whose front page features an article by James Zogby of the Arab American Institute (who among other things, has aided and abetted Fatah terrorists), decrying the expansion of Israeli settlements in the West Bank, and Israel's "ruse" regarding the halting of settlements.
You want to criticize the building of settlements? Go right ahead. But while you do so you better be condemning Fatah, who controls the PA in the West Bank, for still refusing to recognize Israel's right to exist. Oh wait...it's okay to bash Israel for not meeting its obligations on settlements while ignoring the fact that the PA has failed to meet one of its obligations in any accord it has signed with Israel. Ooops, my mistake.
This bigotry, thinly veiled by mock outrage, is the hallmark of American Leftists. Spare us your bullshit if you please, dumb asses. Either condemn the violations of both sides or please shut the fuck up. Here's a newsflash to PDA: as long as Israel sees that the world is going to do nothing to end the reign of a government that seeks her destruction, settlements are going to be built as a means of mitigating the drawing of insecure, indefensible borders. Major settlement blocks will be part of Israel is the logic.
You want a halt to settlements? Halt Fatah and Hamas. Otherwise, shut the fuck up.

A Wild and Whacky Show
While Rome is burning, Resident Training Wheels is going on Leno. Why? Because he sucks at lying.
Only the totally stupid are buying Pampers' faux outrage over the AIG bonuses that he approved with his signature, bonuses that his Treasury Secretary admitted his boss knew about (and how much does Pampers really know about American history when he compares Secretary Geithner to Alexander Hamilton, who attempted to subvert John Adams' bid for the presidency, destroying his own political party). Now Chris Clodd and the Pampers White House are involved in a cutthroat battle of finger pointing over who did what and to whom regarding adding language sanctioning the AIG bonuses (both Clodd and Pampers received oodles of cash from AIG, even though Pampers swore he wasn't taking corporate America's money...how stupid is a Pamperbot? Pretty fucking stupid. Hope...change...).
Meanwhile, Barney Frank is rabidly demanding that the names of those who received bonuses be revealed in the name of a holier-than-thou fest, despite pleadings in the name of AIG employee safety as nutjobs are advocating that these people, and their families, be killed over a pittance in comparison to the billions that have been thrown at AIG in bailout bucks.
So TelePrompter Jesus will go on Leno to tell America that everything will be fine if we just check to make sure our tires are properly inflated, and we stop thinking.
The powers that be should have picked an American idol with a little more brains. They should have picked someone who could at least make things marginally better while flushing us down the crapper.
But maybe the Leno appearance is more about the fact that members of the military are lining up to remind each other, and the Resident, that the oath they take when they join the armed forces is not one of allegiance to the President of the United States, but to the Constitution that he is sworn to protect and defend.
The Oath Keepers are making it clear that they will not accept or carry out any order from the President that violates the Constitution. They will not disarm Americans. They will not invade their homes without justified warrants. They will not incarcerate or place Americans in camps. They will consider the use of foreign troops against Americans as an act of war against the republic. The list goes on. I for one am sleeping much better knowing that the men and women who put their lives on the line to protect and defend us are remembering who they serve: We The People.
So yeah, if I were Pampers I'd be doing everything I could to make Americans forget that my presidency has already failed.
What did these jack off bots see in this clown?
And Iran Iran So Far Away
For those of you wondering what the Resident intends to do about the growing threat of a nuclear Iran, the answer is nothing. At least this is the answer that Israel is getting from the United States. No one in the Pampers administration was willing to talk to Lt. General Gabi Ashkenazi about Iran on his recent trip to the United States. Why? Because the only thing the United States is interested in is talking about Palestine.
Now the Palestine issue is an important one to be sure, but unless you have your head up your ass, a condition which everyone working in the Pampers foreign service (including Madame Secretary) seems to suffer from, you would know that Israel is not going to spend one second talking about giving a state to genocidal Islamists and kleptocrats. So shut the fuck up about Palestine because unless the U.S. is committed to driving Fatah and Hamas from power you'll have a better chance of eating kosher ham than you do of ever seeing a Palestinian state.
You hear that you leftist Jew hating ratfuckers? Are you sure? You love the Palestinians so fucking much, then do what I do...advocate for the removal of Hamas and Fatah because, like I've said a thousand times, until they're gone the Israelis are never going to have any incentive to do thing one to move toward Palestinian statehood. You can march and make all the "Jews are Nazi Terrorist Assholes" signs you want. It won't make a bit of difference. Again, for all you obtuse ratfuckers who claim to love the Palestinians, work to get rid of Fatah and Hamas. Once that's accomplished, and the Palestinians are led by diplomats instead of robbers and gun toting idiots, then peace is possible.
Sorry Pampers, Israel cares about Iran; the country that is arming Hamas, and Hizbollah. Iran; the country that is about two years away from having the bomb (possibly sooner now that AQ Khan is on the loose...thank you Pakistan. Obviously this is bad for Israel. It's also bad for Europe and the United States because what the Leftist fart knockers don't ever seem to get is that the Islamic Jihad has nothing to do with Israel. It has to do with killing or converting everyone who is not a Muslim. So if Iran manufactures weapons grade uranium, gets a little plutonium thing going, and a suitcase bomb levels Manhattan, blaming Israel is only going to make you look more stupid than you already are. Did I type that out loud?
But in the end, Israel getting the cold shoulder is very liberating. If it isn't obvious to the Netanyahu coalition already, the U.S. is just proving itself to be the non-ally it has always been. If Bibi is smart he will be calling on India, China, and Russia while giving the United States government the fucking finger it so richly deserves for chronically selling out her interests to the oil producing nations that have been funding the terrorists that would love nothing more than to kill more Americans. For you Judeophobes out there who are too bigoted to understand, the Saudis have been paying off the radical Islamists to keep them from ousting the royal family for years...when you've figured out how to blame Israel for that you douchebags let me know 'cause I'd really like to hear that one. I know, you went to a Palestinian film festival and thought you had it all figured out. Israel is devil spawn and Fatah and Hamas are freedom fighters. Sorry to piss on your parade.
Now, am I happy about the prospect of Israel allying herself with China, the country that is eradicating Tibet, and funding the genocide in Darfur? Fuck no. But that's what very well may happen. If the United States were Israel's friend, Fatah and Hamas would have been gone a long time ago and there would be a Palestinian state in Gaza at the very least, and perhaps one state between the Mediterranean and the Jordan. But you see people, Dear Leader Shirley doesn't really give a fuck about the Palestinians. Would you let a friend be fucked over by the mafia even though you had the power to stop it? Of course you wouldn't. But the U.S. is perfectly happy to let Fatah and Hamas fuck the Palestinians over and over and over again. Some friend. And Mr. Dopey Mange is going to be no different. So get used to it Shitbots.
At this point the Israelis should be thinking to themselves, "Three out of four times we walk out the front door we get hit in the head with a bucket of shit. Maybe we should stop going out that door."
Pampers and his band of lackeys are proving their ineptitude once again. I have to think that Hillary is smart enough to know this shit, but apparently doesn't care enough to do anything about it (is Bubba's foundation getting Arab money hand over fist at the moment? Maybe.). Smiling and nodding at Israel while Iran gets the bomb is not good for America Hillary.
Oh, and while we're on the subject, the Pampers envoys continue to say Hamas won't get any aid money until they recognize Israel. Well, I wonder if anyone was paying attention when Muhammed Dahlan admitted the other day that Fatah hasn't recognized Israel either? Probably not, because not only does the U.S. government not give a fuck about the Palestinians, it doesn't give a fuck about Israel either.
So for those of you delusionals out there that thought Barry was going to fart and bring peace to the Middle East, sorry to disappoint. He's just going to do what he's been doing for the past three months: pissing off everyone that matters. That's change you can believe in.

Redress of Grievances Part I: Disaffiliation
A few short months ago I began advocating a mass disaffiliation from the Democrap and Republicrap Parties. It caused a bit of a stir. I received quite a bit of mail, cross posts, and support for this notion. With the Juan Martin Luther Lincoln Peron Jr. Jr. administration and Democrap controlled Congress stuffing us in a Chinese handcuff I say it's time to revisit this and resume the call. At least 50% of the American electorate registered as Independent or Unaffiliated. It's time the parties got the message: GO FUCK YOURSELVES YOU FASCIST ASSHOLES!
What do you suppose would happen if the American electorate, over the next two to four years, shifted from 30% unaffiliated to 50%? Perhaps both parties would actually give a damn about what the people think, what they want, where they want the country to go. Suddenly the levers of Roe v Wade, Reproduction, Gayness, etc would no longer matter. Perhaps the parties would be forced to ideologically disarm. Both parties have used those issues, and others, to drive wedges and foment conflict while they rob us blind and shred the Constitution. But it is not simply enough for us to disaffiliate. We must also evaluate ourselves, see where we are politically; what we want for our country; what we want from our government. If you feel your party is broken, your government is working against your interests, and your liberties are being violated then you are not alone. The question is, are you willing to abandon your personal ideology to work with others who may not have the same politics as you, in order to get our political parties, and the federal government, to once again be beholden to We The People, and the Constitution? If you have answered yes then you should think about leaving your party, and let the conversation begin.
Leave your party. Disaffiliate. Stop enabling the behemoths. Make them come to us.
The question of how to proceed with handling our federal government’s operating outside the Constitution is on the Tavern table. I have alluded to two steps that I consider essential to remedying this situation; weakening the influence of our political parties, and exercising our power under the First Amendment to initiate a redress of grievances.
Let’s talk party business first.
Americans must accept that both major political parties are demonstrably corrupt. The Republican Party, beginning with Ronald Reagan, launched an aggressive plan of deficit spending with the stated intention of creating a crippling debt that would eventually leave the government with only two functions: rewarding the rich and waging war. In the words of Grover Norquist, the goal is to make the government so weak that it can be “drowned in the bath tub. The ultimate goal is to shut down what is considered to be the socialist programs of Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, government welfare, and other such social safety net programs. For the record, I supported the welfare reforms that were put in place during the Clinton years. Putting people to work with usable skills rather than collecting a check brought a greater sense of pride, and improved the economy. During the campaign a number of people who considered themselves welfare reform success stories came into the Clinton campaign office to volunteer, grateful for what her husband and the Congress had done. I am sorry to see that the current administration is bringing this to an end. But I believe that our children, retirees, the elderly, the disabled can have help from what it the strongest, most vital economy on the planet.
As of now it appears that Mr. Obama is committed to furthering the erosion of our social safety net, with the exception of returning us to the days of government welfare handouts, a government run healthcare system that breaches anything resembling privacy, and a centralized government run green energy scheme; all of which you pay for from beginning to end while being financially raped to bailout banks that fell victim to ACORN and Fannie/Freddie’s Ponzi scheme. Give a man a fish and he’ll learn to keep coming back for more fish. But if you want to make the largest number of Americans your dependents so they must kowtow and pay homage, this is one way to boost the numbers.
It was the Republican Party that brought us Iran/Contra and its violations of the Constitution. It was Congressional Republicans that were cheerleading the Bush II program of warrantless wiretapping, and the suspension of habeas corpus, and wasted millions of American tax dollars in a futile attempt to bring down the Clinton White House that resulted in impeachment because the President lied about getting a blowjob. However, the corruption and constitutional violations of the second Bush administration were ignored. This speaks to either an inability, or lack of desire on the part of Congressional Republicans to fulfill their oaths of office to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. Apparently violating the fourth amendment was not a concern for Republicans, or Democrats in Congress as Bush sailed away free as a bird.
The Democratic Party is guilty of its own corruption. From violating its own charter by stripping a candidate of delegates and awarding them to someone whose name didn’t appear on a ballot, to using intimidation and coercion to get delegates to aid and abet the defrauding of voters by staging a phony roll call, to the abuse of access by an Ohio state employee to open the tax records of “Joe the Plumber.” And let us not forget the apparent collusion between Democratic Congressmen and Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, which is at the heart of our economy’s viral collapse. It is also clear that Congressional Democrats could care less about protecting and defending the Constitution as Speaker Nancy Pelosi failed to bring articles of impeachment to the floor for the Bush administration’s wire tapping scheme. And while she bravely stated that telecom immunity was off the table in the winter of 2008 she, like Obama, did a somersaulting handspring waffle reversal, endorsing the wiretapping scheme, and voting to grant immunity to the complicit telecom companies. Is it a coincidence that the DNC swag bag proudly displayed the logo of its primary corporate sponsor, AT&T? As I recall, going into June, convention events were being trimmed due to the DNC’s inability to raise money. Lo and behold FISA got approved with telecom immunity, and Obama got his wreath of laurel on Mount Olympus.
Reforming these bloated corporate shill behemoths is a futile gesture in my opinion. The corruption of the Democratic Party is rampant at every level from local to national. The Republican party is a rudderless ship with Newt Gingrich deifying Ronald Reagan as the pillar of conservatism when Reagan himself engaged in the above rampant deficit spending, and violations of the Constitution that he thought he couldn’t remember.
Democrats, particularly women and LGBTs (the ones who were paying attention) realized some very hard truths this year. The Democratic Party doesn’t give a damn about women’s rights, about gay rights, about democracy, about the Constitution. They are realizing that they are more patriotic than they understood. They have come to realize just how dissatisfied they are with how they are being served. They are angry, and rightfully so. Some are even starting to realize that they have been replaced by ACORN’s fraudulent voter rolls and are no longer listened to, as they are no longer needed. There is no reforming the Democrat Party from within. The partisans don’t care whom they crap on: AS LONG AS THEY WIN.
What do these disillusioned Democrats have in common with many disillusioned Republicans and conservatives? Love of country, respect for the Constitution, the desire to see government work for the interests of the people, instead of getting in their way and violating their rights. These two sides need to find one more common thread: the realization that being affiliated with corrupt political parties that are only interested in gaining and maintaining power for their own benefit does not help the country, does not provide a path of Liberty, and does not promote the protection of our rights.
Currently, statistics show that approximately 30% of registered voters are Unaffiliated. Some of them lean to the right, some to the left. Why is it that there are this many people in the American electorate who are not members of either major party? I think it’s safe to say that it is because of the reasons I have stated above; and the numbers in the Lagoon of the Unaffiliated seem to be growing with each passing election cycle. It is no wonder then that the Democrat Party, in conjunction with the campaign of that party’s presidential nominee, unleashed such a widespread campaign of voter registration fraud; they must no longer have the numbers to win elections based on their legitimate voter rolls…or was it because the rank and file’s support of the chosen candidate was thin?

No Play for Mr. Gray
If people aren't talking about Eva O'Jackie Peron's sleeveless dresses, it's Juan Martin Luther Lincoln Peron Jr. Jr.'s graying hair. No doubt his excremental followers are elated over this turn of events, fulfilling their geriatric bondage fantasies. I would imagine this is a refreshing break from pillaging their inflatable lover of the month selection. I suppose the "I've Never Heard of Jeremiah Wright" Speech is getting old for them too, at least as fantasy material. Good for them. And Kenner's Little Bot TelePrompter playsets are selling like hotcakes. And you said Douchulus wouldn't work.
I'm still in stitches over the Resident giving legally blind Gordon Brown a set of DVDs, and Eva forgetting to buy gifts for the Brown boys. It's like having Al and Peg Bundy in the White House. In next week's episode, the Perons give the king of Slobovia's bulimic daughter a bucket of vomit. I've heard it's hilarious.
But alas, it bores me. I have gotten quite a few emails demanding more bearded nutbags. The people have spoken, and I have heard your voice. It's an Amalgamated Order of Real Bearded Shitheads Marathon.
Let's start with a real winner. He issued a fatwa calling for the killing of Jews (and you Leftist infidels too). He's everyone's favorite blind homicidal Islamic radical, currently serving a life sentence at Butner for fatally impersonating Elwood Blues. Let's have a big hand for.....Omar Abd El-Rahman!!! Yaaaaaaaaaaaay!!!

Killer Beard, Dude!
I have tried to grow my beard out long, ya know like ZZ Top, Chassidic style. But all that ends up happening is that it bushes out, gets itchy, and looks like shit. This guy however, has got it goin' on.
Too bad Muhammed Hussein Yaqoub is a psychotic, genocidal nutbag.
Here's the text:
"You Must Believe That We Will Fight, Defeat, and Annihilate Them, Until Not a Single Jew Remains on the Face of the Earth"
"If the Jews left Palestine to us, would we start loving them? Of course not. We will never love them. Absolutely not. [Ed. note: and Israel's motivation to turn land over to terror kleptocracies is what? Peace? Ho ho ho...] The Jews are infidels - not because I say so, and not because they are killing Muslims, but because Allah said: 'The Jews say that Uzair is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that Christ is the son of Allah. These are the words from their mouths. They imitate the sayings of the disbelievers before. May Allah fight them. How deluded they are.' It is Allah who said that they are infidels.Fucking great, even the trees are chomping at the bit to get rid of us. I wonder which side the shrubbery is on? I'll be honest, I haven't heard about this "tree of the Jews," to which Yaqoub is referring, but it's got a cool name; the Gharqad tree...pretty sweet. Do you think drugs are required to come up with this shit, or are people just insane? Oh here I go again being an irrational, paranoid Jew. Shame on me.
"Your belief regarding the Jews should be, first, that they are infidels, and second, that they are enemies. They are enemies not because they occupied Palestine. They would have been enemies even if they did not occupy a thing. Allah said: 'You shall find the strongest men in enmity to the disbelievers [sic] to be the Jews and the polytheists.' Third, you must believe that the Jews will never stop fighting and killing us. They [fight] not for the sake of land and security, as they claim, but for the sake of their religion: 'And they will not cease fighting you until they turn you back you’re your religion, if they can.'
"This is it. We must believe that our fighting with the Jews is eternal, and it will not end until the final battle - and this is the fourth point. You must believe that we will fight, defeat, and annihilate them, until not a single Jew remains on the face of the Earth."
"As For You Jews - The Curse of Allah Upon You... You Pigs of the Earth! You Kill the Muslims With That Cold Pig [Blood] Of Yours"
"It is not me who says so. The Prophet said: 'Judgment Day will not come until you fight the Jews and kill them. The Jews will hide behind stones and trees, and the stones and tree will call: Oh Muslim, oh servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him - except for the Gharqad tree, which is the tree of the Jews.' I have heard that they are planting many of these trees now.
[...]
"As for you Jews - the curse of Allah upon you. The curse of Allah upon you, whose ancestors were apes and pigs. You Jews have sown hatred in our hearts, and we have bequeathed it to our children and grandchildren. You will not survive as long as a single one of us remains.
[...]
"Oh Jews, may the curse of Allah be upon you. Oh Jews... Oh Allah, bring Your wrath, punishment, and torment down upon them. Allah, we pray that you transform them again, and make the Muslims rejoice again in seeing them as apes and pigs. You pigs of the earth! You pigs of the earth! You kill the Muslims with that cold pig [blood] of yours."
I'll be honest, right now I'm thinking about changing my name. What do you think about Gharqad Farquar? And Mr. Yaqoub oughta lighten up. Maybe we should have a fundraiser to pay for dues to AORBS, the Amalgamated Order of Real Bearded Santas.

A Shekel for an Ex-Leper
Mark Twain has been quoted as saying,
"In religion and politics people's beliefs and convictions are in almost every case gotten at second-hand, and without examination, from authorities who have not themselves examined the questions at issue but have taken them at second-hand from other non-examiners, whose opinions about them were not worth a brass farthing."
Lately I am finding this more and more to be the case in certain circles on certain issues.
It seems to me that how you see yourself is largely determined by the shard of the broken mirror into which you choose to gaze. Truth is only going to happen after you acknowledge the mirror is cracked in the first place.
Rumors are swirling around so I will simply say that after a brief tenure at The Confluence I have decided to leave. I will not go into specifics here. Suffice it to say that the reasons being reported as to why I made this decision are largely inaccurate. Anyone can feel free to get in touch with me if they desire first hand information regarding my reasons.
To quote Twain again, "The reports of my death are greatly exaggerated."
Oh, and Big Jew Hater Joe Cannon has declared that it is his opinion that Israelis want to kill all the Palestinians.
"I do think that the Israelis want — in the end — to kill or to expel all Palestinians. It is the Palestinians, not the Jews, who are being “driven into the sea” as the axiom has it. In fact, the plan has been pretty open for some time now."You got it. Joe, I thought you were just another bigoted leftist Jew hating dumbass, but you figured it out. Killing Palestinians is the Israeli national pastime. That's why there are none left. And to think that I saw it on Confluence Street.

You Enjoy Myself
I used to work at a place that had a subscription to US magazine. They have a section about how movie stars are just like us...they eat out of trash cans, do laundry, go to the bathroom...shit like that. Well, not to be outdone, The Daily News did something similar for Pampers.
I decided to take some Shtuey liberties to bring you Pampers is Just Like Us:
He bangs his head like an idiot on expensive military hardware
He gets explosive diarrhea in a library full of school kids...
When you go to the library and the smell's extraordinary diarrhea...diarrhea
But you'll have to go to the Shtuey News Network to see the photo that set Sesame Street ablaze with Muppet rage and violence.
A Great Expense of Blood
Reposted from City Tavern
When I think about what I want this country to be, the ideals I want this republic to stand on and live by, I look to the man that Jefferson referred to as the “colossus of independence,” and his wife, (without whom the colossus would have floundered, and so too the cause of independency): John and Abigail Adams. Abolitionists and revolutionaries, John and Abigail Adams, above all their peers, understood the potential for what America could become. When Jefferson wrote that all men are created equal the Adamses knew that meant all men (and if John didn’t think all women as well, Abigail constantly reminded him).
I believe it is a misnomer to say that the principles of our nation are embodied in the Constitution. They are not. The Constitution is a reflection of those principles…to an extent.
How is it that we as a society have lost sight of these notions to such an extent that we are now witnesses to the very undoing of our republic, a potential end that has been long in coming, and that we have been dutifully ignoring?
If Adams’ contention, that having the freedom to form and maintain a civil government, whose purpose he argued is to protect our rights and liberties to best allow for our common happiness, is so precious that the lives of enslaved Africans, our First Nations, and our citizens whose blood has been spilled at home and abroad was a price worth paying, then that blood is on all of our hands if we sit idly by and watch it all slip away.

The three-fifths clause, or the so-called “Great Compromise” legitimated slavery in America for nearly another hundred years. In elementary school our teachers called it “Great” because without this compromise it is more than likely that the United States would not have survived. It is also because of this “compromise” that 600,000 Americans died in the Civil War. The sin of slavery was a blood debt America was going to pay in 1789 or the 1860s not because of conscience, but because of one simple principle: “Economic motivation is paramount in man,” (the Civil War was not fought to free the slaves, it was money money money).
Yes, it was culturally accepted in the slave owning South, and in much of society at large in the North, that the African was inferior to Europeans, but the three-fifths clause was about money and power. It overrode any sense of conscience that southern delegates to the Constitutional Convention might have had, and ultimately the perceived need to form a stable system of national governance overrode the consciences of delegates from the North. And it wasn’t until the passage of the Bill of Rights in 1791 that American principles of our freedoms were ameliorated and applied to our legal codex. But before all this, John and Abigail Adams were laying down principles that, though not always followed and too often ignored, are the compass by which Americans must now navigate if we are to have any hope of undoing what we have allowed to happen. Here are a few of my favorites from John Adams (Abigail deserves her own post, and so she shall have it).
Liberty cannot be preserved without a general knowledge among the people, who have… a right, an indisputable, unalienable, indefeasible, divine right to that most dreaded and envied kind of knowledge, I mean the characters and conduct of their rulers.
Society’s demands for moral authority and character increase as the importance of the position increases.
There is danger from all men. The only maxim of a free government ought to be to trust no man living with power to endanger the public liberty.
The jaws of power are always open to devour, and her arm is always stretched out, if possible, to destroy the freedom of thinking, speaking, and writing.
How is it that we as a society have lost sight of these notions to such an extent that we are now witnesses to the very undoing of our republic, a potential end that has been long in coming, and that we have been dutifully ignoring?
Untold millions of Americas indigenous people were slaughtered on this land. Women who sought the right to vote were jailed, beaten, and murdered to secure the right of franchise (For the record, the Constitution does not protect or guarantee our right to vote. It merely defines who in our society is allowed to vote–scary thought isn’t it?). And what have we done?
We have squandered our freedoms and rights. We have allowed them to be usurped to the point where the overwhelming majority of Americans opposed the stimulus bill that was recently passed by Congress, and they did not listen. You are not being heard. Your desires, your needs, your opinions, your liberties do not matter to the people who are now heavily engaged in generating for themselves the greatest set of controls over our private lives in the history of this country. They already sanctioned the warrantless tapping of your phone. I certainly do not want the government having access to my medical records. Do you?
On independence, and creating a society for free people Adams said,
On independence, and creating a society for free people Adams said,
The object is great which we have in view, and we must expect a great expense of blood to obtain it. But we should always remember that a free constitution of civil government cannot be purchased at too dear a rate, as there is nothing on this side of Jerusalem of equal importance to mankind.
What the hell are we going to do about this?

The Struggle for Human Rights Begins At Home
Cross posted from City Tavern
If the human rights struggle is universal then it stands to reason that one advances the cause by fighting for the protection of their own rights first and foremost. We must be our own advocates, and stand on the solid foundation of our own liberties if we are to be advocates for others. As the saying goes, “Think globally, act locally.”
Just as the American revolution inspired the people of France to rise up against an oppressive aristocracy, Americans must once again stand up against the oligarchical autocrats that have assumed control of our federal government. We should not be subjected to tax muggings without our consent. Our right to habeas corpus should not be suspended without our consent. The tapping of our phones without warrants is a direct violation of our Constitutional Rights. The sovereignty of our states should not be encroached upon by the federal government, particularly by extortion and blackmail, which the stimulus and omnibus bills do.
Your rights to privacy, your rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness are under assault by the White House and the Congress. We must defend and protect those rights if we are to continue to do the work of fighting for the upholding of human rights for all. If we do not, who then will hear our voice? As Rabbi Hillel asked more than 2000 years ago, “If I am not for myself, who will be for me? But if I am only for myself, what am I? If not now, when?”
So what does this entail? It is insufficient to simply stand up to the President and Congress. We must advance the equality of all our citizens, be they women, gay, of color, or minority culture, or religion. It must also be remembered that your liberty ends where mine begins. The advancing of the rights of some cannot impinge the free exercise of the rights of others.
It is a simple formula. No one is free while others are not. If you are only for yourself what are you?

Der Kommissar Reid Calls for Centralized Power Grid
Image from agnostic.neocon at politico
How's this for a five year plan? Harry Reid, the Democrappy Party's leading Senate Douchebag, is proposing a plan by which the federal government would take over America's power grid as part of his plan to put up renewable energy power lines that will transport our new green energy from "remote places," and that the federal government, not individual states, will determine where they would be put up, and who gets the privilege of paying for them.

I'm sure that the states won't mind having their sovereignty further eroded by a federal government that has long overstepped its constitutional bounds. Thank you Harry for giving America one more reason to force Congress to resign.
Now I'm all for increasing the use of renewable energy. It will result in cleaner air, less acid rain, and a reduction in our dependence on oil produced by countries that fund the terrorists that want to kill us. But why does Senator Reid feel that the federal government must violate the constitutionally guaranteed sovereignty of individual states, one of the bedrock principles on which our republic was founded?
Hmmm...let's take a little field trip to the good Senator's website...pack a lunch, and make sure your permission slip has been signed by your parents...everyone have a buddy? Good. Let's go explorers!
On Dirty Harry's Energy Issues page it says:
One of the largest impediments to increasing electricity generation from clean renewable sources is accessibility to transmission lines. That is why I have introduced legislation – the Clean Renewable Energy and Economic Development Act (CREEDA) – to provide additional financing options for building new transmission lines and interconnections to areas rich with renewable energy resources. By designating renewable energy zones, where natural clean resources could generate at least 1,000 megawatts of power, my bill would establish a framework for developing new renewable energy – dedicated transmission. If I were Mr. Spock I would be raising my eyebrow while saying, "Fascinating." Now, fire up your Davis Safety Lamp because it's going to get dark and I don't want any of you to get blown up in the mine shaft that is this CREEDA bill. This PDF is for the 2007 version of this bill (I tried to find the current version, but Harry's site politely told me that this page does not exist)...I think the tard just keeps recycling it year after year (if you click on some of the links on this page you can see some Dirty Harry videos with Dirty Harry "I'm your Senator and I'm busy doin' man stuff for you because I'm the man" music...he's so...manly).
First, CREEDA is to be yet another amendment to the Federal Power Act which would, "require the President [Stupidus Caesar] to designate certain geographical areas as national renewable energy zones, and for other purposes," (if you can find what this bill means by "other purposes" you let me know...the dark side of the Force I sense).
Then there is Subpart A titled: "Regulation of Electric Utility Companies," under which we find, "Federal Transmitting Utility," which is defined in part as, "a Federal power marketing agency
that owns or operates an electric transmission facility."
that owns or operates an electric transmission facility."
So under this bill the federal government would own and/or operate power plants, because they're doing such a great job running the country...into the ground. But it gets better.
‘‘(1) IN GENERAL.—Not later than 1 year after the designation of a national renewable energy zone, a Federal transmitting utility that owns or operates 1 or more electric transmission facilities in a State with a national renewable energy zone shall identify specific additional high-voltage or other renewable electricity connection facilities required to substantially increase the generation of electricity from renewable energy in the national renewable energy zone.So the federally owned utility then gets to decide what additional facilities must be built, and where.
‘‘(2) LACK OF PRIVATE FUNDS.—If, by the date that is 3 years after the date of enactment of this subpart, no privately-funded entity has committed to financing (through self-financing or through a third party financing arrangement with a Federal transmitting utility) to ensure the construction and operation of a high-voltage or other renewable electricity connection facility identified pursuant to paragraph by a specified date, the Federal transmitting utility responsible for the identification shall finance such a transmission facility if the Federal transmitting utility has sufficient bonding authority under paragraph (3).
In other words, if private utility companies or other investors don't pony up the money to pay for these federally mandated facilities, the Federal transmitting facility will finance the project by selling bonds...
‘‘(3) BONDING AUTHORITY.—‘‘(A) IN GENERAL.—In addition to any other authority to issue and sell bonds, notes, and other evidence of indebtedness, a Federal transmitting utility may issue and sell bonds, notes, and other evidence of indebtedness in an amount not to exceed, at any 1 time, an aggregate outstanding balance of $10,000,000,000, to finance the construction of transmission facilities identified pursuant to paragraph (1) for the principal purposes of—
‘‘(i) increasing the generation of electricity from renewable energy; and ‘‘(ii) conveying that electricity to an electricity consuming area.
Who buys those bonds? Utility companies, local municipalities? Individuals? What if there are no purchasers, will the federal government force local communities to buy them? Since the federal government is already determining where and how this is happening for the states, who's to stop them from deciding who gets to buy the bonds?
‘‘(B) RECOVERY OF COSTS.—A Federal transmitting utility shall recover the costs of renewable electricity connection facilities financed pursuant to paragraph (2) from entities using the transmission facilities over a period of 50 years.
I suppose this means that customers who get power from these federally operated plants pay like they would to any other utility company. Who is buying the bonds again?
‘‘(C) NONLIABILITY OF CERTAIN CUSTOMERS.—Individuals and entities that, as of the date of enactment of this subpart, are customers of a Federal transmitting utility shall not be liable for the costs, in the form of increased rates charged for electricity or transmission, of renewable electricity connection facilities constructed pursuant to this section, except to the extent the customers are treated in a manner similar to all other users of the renewable electricity connection facilities.
But wait...didn't section B say that a Federal transmitting utility would recover the costs of renewable electricity connection facilities from entities that use them?
Yes it does. The exception is for individuals and entities that are customers of Federal transmitting utilities at the time this subpart is enacted.
There are no Federal transmitting utilities at this time, as defined by this bill, other than the TVA (This is the same TVA responsible for the devastating coal ash spill, caused by the failure of a containment dike maintained by...the federal government. I'm sure we'll be perfectly safe in the hands of our federal government as they wire us all up.).
The Tennessee Valley Authority serves an area of approximately 80,000 square miles.
The total area of the United States is 3,537,441 square miles. Leaving 3,457,441 miles of non-federally served utility customers. That's a lot of people who do not fall under this bill's exceptions clause.
Now of course there will still be people getting their power from privately owned utilities that utilize coal, nuclear, and hydroelectricity (the majority still get it from coal). But since Caesar Stupidus is going to carbon tax the coal industry into bankruptcy...
You'll be so tired of having cold houses from not being able to afford your electricity costs that you'll beg to buy the green energy bonds if it means you don't have to sell a kidney so you can keep your kids warm in the winter (if your municipality hasn't been forced by the feds to buy the bonds first). Why do I have a feeling that this is going to become known as "the Reid Renewable Energy Bill that Congress must pass in order to avert this crisis?"
It took a whollotta gobbledygook to tell you that you are going to pay for this project from start to finish, and then pay for the privilege of having this electricity brought to your home.
All of this to the benefit of Senator Reid's home state of Nevada that won't have to pay one dime for any of this...unless you take into account all the taxpayers, and government run utility customers in Nevada. Then he'll say, "Look at all the jobs I created for you! You should elect me yet again."
Reid, on his website says Nevada has the "potential to be the nation's renewable energy epicenter." That's great for Nevada. But wouldn't it be better for the state if Nevada based companies built and maintained these entities instead of the federal government? If I were a betting man I'd say that his political pals that invest in this project stand to get sizable kickbacks from Dirty Harry via our tax dollars. I guess that wouldn't be the case if private companies did it. Tax incentives are so much less glamorous. Oh wait...the government doesn't want to reduce taxes...we're all supposed to be broke so we make better supplicants to Caesar. I forgot.
So we're paying for TARP, Douchulus, the Irresponsible Borrower Bailout, and nationalized renewable energy, and healthcare. But don't worry...you're taxes won't go up...unless you have a job.
Bottom line? Harry Reid expects your tax dollars to fund a project that he hopes will get him reelected so he can continue to help his Caesar run the country into the ground.
Here's a better idea dipshit. Respect the sovereignty of individual states by conferring with them over where these renewable energy zones are, following the environmental guidelines you suggest so as not to despoil sensitive areas. Then allow them to determine where the lines will be run. Offer generous tax breaks to private utility companies, or entrepreneurial start-ups, who build, operate, and maintain these facilities to offset the increased costs that would otherwise be turned over to the customer.
Oh wait...I'm thinking like...an American...I'm getting sent to the "reeducation" camps...I mean other geographical zone purposes...aren't I?
