This post is strictly about the Hamas/Palestinian Authority Propaganda Machine. Watch the videos, look at the images. This is how Israel and the Jews are presented to the Palestinian people, especially the children. How does this advance peace? Does this look like this is being generated by a political body what wants peace with Israel?
For the remainder of the series there will be a follow up post that will be propaganda by Jewish extremists. There is no Israeli government sponsored propaganda to present as an equivalency to what you will see from Palestinian TV. But there will be an examination of Israeli government censorship.
There will then be a post regarding human rights violations by both sides and the series will end with a post on cooperative grassroots efforts that may be the only hope in this entire affair.
**************************************************
In order to understand the reality of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, you have to be aware as to how the Palestinian Authority and Hamas present their enemy, and how they present the conflict to the world. As you will see, biased media outlets have no problem circulating false footage. The most aggregious incident of this was the Al-Dura incident in 2000 where France 2 knowingly issued a staged event as fact to media outlets from all over Europe. What follows are documentaries on the so-called Pallywood, and how Al-Dura was staged, as well as some selections from Palestinian television. The Al-Dura footage was used by Osama bin Laden, and by the men who beheaded Daniel Pearl. It was used to inflame hatred against Israel, and Jews, across the Arab world, in Europe, and the United States, by the same media outlets PUMA has accused of pro-Obama bias in 2008. This is not a new problem.
Read how American journalists, the same ones who shoved Pampers down our throats, used Al-Dura at the onset of the intifada in 2000. Media bias is not reserved simply for That One.
This is video recorded before a Hamas attack in 2004
More video can be found here.
Question: Is there hope for peace as long as these seeds are sewn?
Then of course there is Farfur.
Brigitte Gabriel, who grew up in Lebanon, gave this speech at the Palestine Solidarity Conference at Duke University in 2004.
Question: How do you reconcile these alternate realities?
This is all part of the web of a region and a conflict that most people do not understand. How much of what you saw did you, or do you believe?
What do you reject, and what do you accept?
If the future leaders of the Palestinian people are raised viewing these images, is there hope for peace? When the word "occupation" is used it is not a reference to Gaza and West Bank. It is in reference to all the land between the Mediterranean and the Jordan River.
As we will see in the next post in the series, there are elements among Israeli society that wish to claim the same.
Comments on this post are to deal with the material presented only: your reactions to images presented. This is not a thread to discuss who kicked who out of where, who massacred who, and who is guilty. Comments that are off topic, race baiting, propaganda spew, etc will be deleted.

"Ya got somethin' to say to me? Go ahead...make my day." Ha, good one. I guess it gives you a feeling of power to delete it if you don't like it. Frankly, I think your assertions are nothing but "propaganda spew." Of course, it is your blog, so if you want to spout dogma, you are free to do so. Just don't deny that is what it is, Shtuey. The truth is far more complex than your assertions here. So, if you're pro-Israeli, and anti-Palestinian, don't try to pass it off as intellectually honest and neutral, just identify yourself as a pro-Israeli, anti-Palestinian propagandist. Anything else is disingenuous, and not worthy of reading, here or elsewhere.

Happy New Year to you. I enjoy your work very much.
To your anonymously brave commenter, here's to Geniuses..

The anonymous genius said, "The truth is far more complex than your assertions here." I suppose you didn't read part 1 in the series, or the outline of how this series is going to run. The truth is far more complex, which is the premise under which I am writing. Take a valium, have a cold beer. Most people see this conflict as black and white. By the time this series is over I hope it's plenty fucking gray for everyone.
I read the ranting at NoQuarter where everyone is justifying their positions on both sides with entrenched ignorance and cherry picking the facts that suit their interests. That accomplishes nothing but the perpetuation of the problem. Larry Johnson and I have begun to have a private, and dare I say, more constructive conversation on this situation than I could possibly hope to have with some of the rabid hate mongers on both side of the security fence at No Quarter.
It's true, I don't consider myself to be neutral at all. I'm against the Israeli Government for the shabby, inconsistent, and often undemocratic and unethical policies vis a vis the Palestinians, Israeli Arabs, Bedouin, Jewish immigrants, and slackness on human trafficing. I am also against the current parliamentary system where radical fringe parties are kowtowed to so that settlements get built in the West Bank that shouldn't be, etc.
I am also anti Palestinian Authority, which whether you care to admit it or not, exploits its people, embezzles the aid that is meant for them, and holds them under the gun while the leaders indulge in champagne wishes and caviar dreams. Saeb Erekat has a pretty sweet BMW, and looks pretty good in his tailored Italian suits. But you probably don't give a fuck about that because you're too busy shitting on one side or the other.
I am for the people of Israel;Jews, Christians, Muslims, Arabs, Druze, B'hai, Bedouin, and the Palestinians. I am for their right to freedom, and the upholding of their universal human rights, which the governments of all camps seem to have no problem violating on a pretty regular basis, which I will present later in the series.
I suppose that you are well versed in the lives of these people, and actually give a shit beyond your own hatred to make such an enlightened comment. Just out of curiosity, which side do you want exterminated?
No I'm not neutral at all. I'm against governmental oppression, regardless of who commits it, unlike all of the fucking hypocrites who think it's okay, as long as it only happens to the side they hate. I'm going to assume that you're one of them unless you can cogently state otherwise. I suppose you'll shower me with compliments or shit on me regarding my next post on the propaganda of the Israeli right and spawn of Kahane Chai.
Thanks for bringing your medeival bullshit to Oh...My Valve, I'm sure I speak for everyone here when I say we feel much more enlightened.
Thank you Uppity; that's a right back atchya, and congrats your being a finalist in the Weblog Awards!
So now the Palestinians are against Juice too? Well, to be fair I suppose then that the radical Israeli right will have to be against fruit.
Oh, and anonymous, I forgot to mention Hamas can go fuck themselves too as they are guilty of the same bullshit as the PA and the Israeli government. I know that's probably hard for you to accept, but get the fuck over it. If you want freedom for the Palestinians from oppression you better want it from Hamas and the PA too, because without that, not only will there never be peace, there will never be real freedom for Palestinians. They will always remain what they have been since the days of the Ottoman Empire, when they didn't even call themselves Palestinian: exploited.
Did I invent that Hamas and PA propaganda? Did I make up the faking of the Al-Dura incident? Accept reality, your side is not what it says it is, and is only loyal to its own power, not the people it claims to represent.
Just as Israel cannot justify actions it undertakes, neither can Hamas and the PA. "An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind." That certainly seems to be true in your case. High five!
If you stay tuned you'll get to revel in the Israeli government's bullshit too. I'm an equal opportunity destroyer.
Shtuey, I feel my deeper layers shifting. Peace should no longer be a right, but a responsibilty upon Governments, lest they should be shunned by the world community.
Wag the dog!
It seems like the anonymous writer didn't read your other post and the sequences you announced. Isn't it interesting though how he or she provides a vivid example of how this kind of highly selective perception and distortion generate misunderstanding and conflict?
I, for my part, want to thank you for your deep, valuable and IMO unbiased contribution. We all know that no human is really neutral (s. konstructivism)
Happy New Year!
