Unfortunately, it seems that Fox News, in its constant effort to please their Islamic paymasters, has also jumped on board the Muslim Brotherhood Is Not Violent Bandwagon by asserting same in an online article in which they report that the Pampers administration corrected Crapper's dufus statement that the MB is secular.
DNI spokescrouton Jamie Smith stated that what Crapper really meant to say was:
"To clarify Director Clapper's point, in Egypt the Muslim Brotherhood makes efforts to work through a political system that has been, under Mubarak's rule, one that is largely secular in its orientation. He is well aware that the Muslim Brotherhood is not a secular organization."
But what Crapper said was:
"The term 'Muslim Brotherhood' ... is an umbrella term for a variety of movements, in the case of Egypt, a very heterogeneous group, largely secular, which has eschewed violence and has decried Al Qaeda as a perversion of Islam."[Ed. note...the reality is that the MB's problem with Al Quackers is they are the competition.]
I agree, it's very easy to tell when people are double-speaking. Their breath smells like poopy.
Here's a bit of analysis from Prof. Waller R. Newell from Carleton University in Ottawa that I read today over at Arutz-7:
“A senior member of the Brotherhood has already announced that their aim will be to ‘prepare the Egyptian people for war with Israel’ and called for the Suez Canal to be closed so as to disrupt the West's oil trade. Another announced that a newly elected legislature's first duty will be to re-consider the peace treaty with Israel. As a matter of course, as soon as they can, the Brotherhood will terminate Egypt's tourist industry, one of its chief sources of income and an employer of many of the people demonstrating in Cairo today, because they regard tourists as a foreign taint and their interest in ancient ruins as promoting paganism. As Islamist revolutionaries, whatever more palatable image they may choose to present for now, they do not have the slightest interest in raising the Egyptian people's standard of living, because they detest liberal individualism and economic freedom."
Wow, that sure sounds like they've...what was it the idiots at Fox News said..."renounced violence." Yes, if you get your news from Fox you are just as disinformed as everyone who watches MSNBC. Sorry.
So just exactly who is this James Crapper, and how is it that he's ended up as our DNI? Well, most recently he was a holdover from the W. Shrub administration...so much for change. He's also the guy who answered the question of, "Where's the WMD?" after we invaded Iraq. He said the Iraqis obviously shipped them to Syria...duh! Too bad for him that the head of his agency at the time, a David Burpee (I know, but it's too easy), could not provide any evidence beyond Crapper's statement to support this assertion. Whoops! So I guess we have a DNI who has a penchant for making stuff up. It would seem that this is the only criteria necessary for getting any high level job in a Presidential administration.
But there's more to this story than Crapper's penchant for making stuff up. I've looked at his photos very closely and I am convinced that Robert Gibbs is his love child...
...or he's this dude from Star Trek, which would be appropriate since the back of his head looks like a butt.
I guess in the end it doesn't matter which he is...we're screwed either way with this clown.
