More Tales From Bizarro America: The Asylum Saga of Mosab Hassan Yousef

Remember the Department of Homeland Security, that farcical agency created under by the Shrub administration in the wake of 9/11? This is the impotent agency that changes the terror color alert depending on the stain color left in the jockey shorts of whomever happens to be asleep at the switch on any given night, and makes brilliant suggestions to the TSA regarding which item of clothing we have to remove at the airport (Are any of you as surprised as I am that we don't have to fly without underpants?). Well under the Marack administration the DHS is headed by Janet Nippleatano whose only qualification for being head of DHS is that she is completely unqualified to head DHS and, in true Marack fashion, is currently holding deportation hearings against Mosab Hassan Yousef, who is the oldest son of Sheikh Hassan Yousef, a founder of Hamas. His application for asylum was rejected in February (remember that Juan Hussein Peron's aunt, whose life has no political meaning other than the fact that she is Juan Hussein Peron's aunt got asylum)

“because there were reasonable grounds for believing he was a danger to the security of the United States and [was] engaged in terrorist activity.”

[Let me just take a moment to mention here that Marack is a threat to the security of the United States and was involved with terrorists like Billy Ayers and Bernadine Dorn, not to mention Hatem al Hady, and no one is deporting him to Kenya.]

Marack LOVES Hamas so what gives?

What gives is that Mosab Hassan Yousef turned against Hamas and aided Israeli intelligence in thwarting attacks against the Jewish state, including an assassination attempt on Shimon Peres. He is as anti-terrorist as an Arab gets, and yet DHS wants him deported because...wait for it...they say he is a terrorist threat. That's right, the man who helped stopped Arab terrorism is a terrorist, and Marack is giving money to Hamas who are really just an Arab ballet troupe that occasionally fires rockets out their tutus.

In its case against Yousef DHS attorney Kerri Calcador stated that he was involved with the Hamas, and that when presented with a list of terror suspects by Shin Bet, Yousef identified 5 of them, and that he drove them to safe houses. Well duh Kerri Calculator. That's what espionage agents do. In response to this ludicrous nonsense Yousef stated:

“I was the one who connected these men with the bombing at the Hebrew University cafeteria in July 2002. And Homeland Security would do well to remember that there were five American citizens among the dead. Apparently the agency needs also to be reminded that I was the one who located the terrorists and led to their arrest or death.

He also claims that he posed as a terrorist while working for Israel. “Yes, I carried a gun,” he wrote. “Yes, I was in terrorist meetings with Yasser Arafat, my father and other Hamas leaders. It was part of my job. And I passed on to the Shin Bet all the information I gathered during those meetings and saved the lives of many people—including many Americans.
“Homeland Security has absolutely no idea of the dangers that lie ahead. For nearly 30 years, I watched from the inside as Hamas dug its claws deeper and deeper into Israel. They started awkwardly, clumsily, but they got good at it. And al-Qaeda is becoming more like Hamas.
“Al-Qaeda started with huge attacks like September 11. But bin Laden has learned from Hamas’s war against Israel how to bleed its enemy. Al-Qaeda understands how effective the Hamas strategy will be on American soil.”

It's just a typical day in Obambi's Bizarro America.

In order to help Yousef in his fight for asylum in America, former Shin Bet agent Gonen Ben-Yitzchak has broken his cover to testify on Yousef's behalf.

“He risked his life every day in order to prevent terrorism. The truth is Mosab always prevented killings. Mosab is not a terrorist!”

Ah, but Mosab prevented the killings of Jews. In Little Lord Fraudleroy's world that makes him a terrorist. If Mosab had helped to kill Jews instead of save them I can assure you that not only would Obaby grant him asylum, he'd probably give him free rides on Air Force One, and let him hang out in the Situation Room so he could watch the "president" chew out generals for doing their job.

If Yousef is deported it will be the latest miscarriage of justice enacted by the most corrupt administration that we've seen since...well...the last administration. But this guy is far more slack than the Shrub. It only took Shrub 3 days to give lip service to Katrina victims. It took Marack 58 days to respond to the BP spill...after rejecting help from at least two foreign countries. But since The Barry would rather let oil devastate our oceans and beaches so he can push his cap and tax fiasco it's all understandable. So how are you environmentalist granola eaters feeling about the Boomba now? How's that hope and change workin' out for the dolphins? How about thinking next time you vote, idiots.

It occurs to me now why Marack would want to have Yousef deported to Judea and Samaria into the hands of the PA/Hamas. Yousef converted from Islam to Christianity which, if memory serves, carries the death sentence according to the laws of the "religion of peace." Our Islamist "president" probably can't find any loopholes that would allow Yousef to be executed while in the hands of American authorities, or while he is under the protection of Israeli intelligence, so the next best thing would be to deport him to those who would have no compunction with throwing him off the nearest rooftop.
