From Arutz-7:
Sixty five percent of the Jewish public in Israel – almost two thirds – believe that Jews in the United States should be critical of President Barack Obama's policy toward Israel, a poll has found.
There is apparently a lot of concern that what prevents Jewish Americans from doing so is the fear that they would be seen as having dual loyalty, a notion that notorious Israel basher Mike Wallace put forward back in the 50's when he interviewed Abba Eban. Our loyalty to our Diaspora countries has been called into question throughout the history of our exile from our land, much of which is currently occupied by Arab interlopers who need to be encouraged to leave and return to their home countries. But time and again the question of loyalty should really be directed at the governments of those countries. We were expelled and/or persecuted by virtually every country in Europe, segregated from the rest of society, and often made to live as second, third, or no-class citizens, while we showed time and again either through government and military service, the arts, sciences, medicine, etc, that we have historically been glad and eager to serve the nations in which we have made our homes. America is no different.
Though it is true that every single nation in which we experienced some kind of cultural "golden age" either expelled us, or attempted to exterminate us, the aforementioned trend of service continues. No, Jews aren't worried about being accused of having dual loyalty. Jews in America don't seem to be worried about much of anything...and that is a HUGE problem, because in tough economic times, when there is a known Israel/Jew hater in the White House, we walk a thin line.
We are fortunate that we live in a nation where the majority of citizens respect us, and love Israel...and are also growing to despise the man posing as the President of the United States with each passing day. The fact that watching Marack play golf while oil pours into the Gulf of Mexico, or Americans die in natural disasters is like watching a rerun of the last dufus who read "My Pet Goat" while Americans were leaping to their deaths at the World Trade Center, and is reminiscent of how king Shrub didn't show up in NOLA after Katrina because he was probably recovering from a three day bender and pretzel choking session in Crawford isn't helping the Narcissist-in-Chief much. But the irrefutable fact is that every country where we thought we had it made we got burned at the stake...without exception, and very much with the complicity of the citizenry. So even though America wouldn't exist without Jews like Sons of Liberty member, and Continental Congress/Army financier Chaim Solomon, if push came to shove, assume they'd most likely turn on us here too. To not think that way is to stand against 2000 years of historical evidence, and just plain stupid. While I hope that non-Jewish Americans would not sink to such utter stupidity, the weight of history is against any other outcome.
Sorry Israel. What prevents many American Jews from taking on Marack is the fact that they are so pathetically attached to their so-called liberalism, or their support of the right of terrorists to fight Israel, which many actually believe is an apartheid nazi state...no really...I've met some of these people...one of them is a rabbi and actually discourages Jews from making aliyah...I am not kidding...that they actually think Marack is doing the right thing, and would continue to sing his praises as he shoved them into an open pit.
But don't worry Israel, the Dumb Jews of America are waking up with polls showing that his anti-Israel/pro Terrorist policies are causing him to bleed Jewish support big time. The trouble is that The Barry doesn't care. He doesn't like Jews, or Israel. He is a Muslim who will back Israel's enemies to her death. This is why no action is or will be taken by the Marack administration against Iran. This is why Marack is now leading the fight to get Israel to end the blockade of Gaza. He wants Iran to have a port in Gaza. He wants Israel destroyed. I have been saying this since 2008 and only now are people starting to get it.
He doesn't have a problem with his "message" as Rahm Emanuel stupidly suggested. It's not that he's naive, or has no understanding about how the region works. He wants Israel gone. Unfortunately, Israel's current Prime Minister does not worship nor fear the G-d of Israel. He worships his power and sees pleasing the White House Jew Hater as the key to staying in power. He has learned well the lessons of his Clinton backed deposition: do what the President says and you get to stay in the big chair.
Bibi's big problem is failing to understand that Israelis want him to take on The Barry, not placate him. They want him to lead the free world against Islamofascism, not capitulate to the forces that are backing it...which is exactly what he is doing by entertaining the notion of an inquiry into the Gaza flotilla incident. And for those of you who thought the construction freeze in Judea and Samaria was going to be lifted...think again. High Priest of Baal, Ehud Barak, wants it to continue, and Dan Meridor thinks building should only be allowed in areas that will remain part of Israel. That ought to mean everywhere in Judea and Samaria, but we know that when Meridor speaks this is not even remotely what he means.
So Israel, don't look to us to be able to derail the White House's anti-Israel policy. The best we can do is educate Americans as to how foolish, stupid, and racist against Jews and Israel Marack is really. He doesn't care about our votes, or our money. He wants Israel gone. He's fixated on the notion. All our carrying on won't change that. He has not a care for the voice of the people. America is suffering from a rising dictatorship that laughs at democracy, rewards the loyal, and destroys all it considers unworthy. Israel's only hope is unremitting, unapologetic resistance to every policy and dictate issued by the White House. Unfortunately you do not have a Prime Minister who is capable of doing this. That is by far Israel's biggest problem.

Great rant, Shtuey. Wait... are you in America or Israel right now?
My body is in America. My neshama is in Eretz Yisrael...east of the "green line."
(Hey, sorry I'm only getting back to you now...)
Ah, see, I thought you were in Israel all this time. (A while back, I actually tried to look up any city or town in Israel named "Galut"...)
For a year or so now, I've been trying to move to Israel, but among other things, I've had to contend with the foolish rabbi at my conservative synagogue who actually REFUSES to write the letter for me proving that I'm Jewish, so now I try to find another rabbi who would cooperate.
Sometimes I wonder if G-d even wants me to move to Israel: Does he want me to stay here (at least for now), or is he testing me and my resolve?
I'm just so upset and frustrated...
