Flying back to Israel with the crew is a 5 year old Haitian boy who is suffering from a congenital heart defect so that he can receive treatment in a more proper medical facility.
And to help with the continuing rescue and medical efforts in Haiti, Arutz-7 reports that the IDF left behind 30 tons of supplies including:
bandaging materials, surgical kits, two incubators, community medicine equipment, and large quantities of food and water. In addition it is distributing 1,150 blankets, 30 large tents, 500 mattresses, 200 sleeping bags and kitchen equipment. These supplies will be transferred to the tent cities throughout the country.
So the big question is, when will the press start condemning the Israelis for leaving too soon? I'd say sometime tomorrow. And I wager 20,000 quatlumes on the BBC being the first to lodge a complaint.
Kol HaKavod chevre. You made us all so proud.

Wait...are you telling me that bandaging materials, surgical kits, two incubators, community medicine equipment, and large quantities of food and water are not weapons of mass destruction? 8O
It's amazing how, no matter what wonderful things that Israel does in this world, a good word cannot be said. But that seems to be the way with our media these days...I see it often when there is discussion regarding the Catholic Church. We're all evil, ya know.
God Bless Israel for the love they showed during this horrible disaster in Haiti.
