Knesset Bolsters Gump's Law

If Forrest Gump has taught us anything, and I'd like to think that he has, it's that, "stupid is as stupid does." The Israeli Knesset proved two things this week:

1. Gump was right.
2. A fictional movie character has more sense than most Israeli politicians.

Before the Knesset plenum this week came a bill introduced by Aryeh Eldad and Michael Ben-Ari of the Ichud Leumi, National Union Party. The bill proposed the banning of the organization known as the Islamic Movement which operates inside Israel.

Make no mistake about it, this is an organization dedicated to Israel's destruction. It attempted to incite violence against Jews by accusing us of plotting to take over the Temple Mount while it was organizing rioters and stockpiling rocks above the Western Wall so they could hurl them at the Jews below. This is an organization whose leaders refer to Jews as parasites, bugs, and lice. So naturally, when the bill came before the plenum it was rejected.

Likud and Yisrael Beiteinu, parties of the ruling coalition, promised that the Islamic Movement would be outlawed during the elections. But coalition members, including MKs from Yisrael Beiteinu voted the bill down.

Here's an idea for the zombie clown apocalypse freak show running the Knesset. Why don't you give the Islamic Movement the keys to Dimona? That ought to hasten the suicide. Is it any wonder why the world doesn't give a crap about Jewish human rights in Israel? Why would it when the Jews running Israel don't seem to give a crap themselves?
