It's Not Freedom, But We'll Take It

Am Yisrael breathed a collective sigh of relief when the first video of Gilad Shalit was released as part of a deal in which Falacstinian terrorists were set free. While caving to terror in a situation like this is walking a fine line, and possibly setting a dangerous precedent, it is good to see our soldier alive, and seemingly healthy.

As relieved as I am, I am enraged. Shalit has been captive for more than 3 years and this is the first video we have of him. The International Committee of the Red Cross has done virtually nothing to attempt to even see him. The White House has not once demanded his unconditional release (all credit to the French, who demanded same upon release of the video...Shalit has duel citizenship with France and Israel). The world has been perfectly letting a Jew sit in the hands of his captors, in violation of international law, while the hypocritical UN sits perched like vultures, waiting to condemn Israel via the Goldstone Report, and strip her of her right of self-defense against the heartless bastards who attack Israel while hiding behind women and children.

No doubt the Arabs are laughing at us for being so emotional over just being able to see a video of Gilad. I would expect nothing less from people who raise their children to strap bombs to themselves, and violate international law in order to kill Jews.

What follows is the translation of his comments.

"Hello, I am Gilad, son of Noam and Aviva Schalit, brother of Hadas and Yoel, who lives in Mitzpe Hila. My ID number is 300097029.

"As you see I am holding in my hands the Palestine newspaper of September 14, 2009, published in Gaza. I am reading the paper in order to find information regarding myself, hoping to find some information from which I would learn of my release and upcoming return home. I have been hoping and waiting for the day of me release for a long time. I hope the current government under Binyamin Netanyahu will not waste the chance to finalize a deal, and I will therefore be able to finally have my dream come true and be released.

"I wish to send regards to my family and say to them that I love and miss them and yearn for the day in which I would see them again.

"Dad, Yoel and Hadas, do you remember the day when you visited my base on the Golan Heights on December 31st, 2005, that if I am not mistaken was called Revaya B. We walked around the base and you took photos of me on the Merkava tank and on one of the old tanks at the entrance to the base. We then went to a restaurant in one of the Druse villages and on the way we took photos on the side of the road with the snow-capped Mount Hermon in the background.

"I wish to say to you that I feel good, health-wise, and the Mujahadeen of the Izzadien al-Qassam Brigades are treating me very well. Thank you and goodbye."

Not So Fast UNHRC

Conflicting accounts are arising as to the hows and whys, but apparently the UNHRC vote on the Goldstone Book of Lies has been deferred until March. Here is the Rashemon presentation of how this transpired.

In the Palestinian version of the story, they had enough votes to win endorsement of the report, but they desired to negotiate a text that would garner support from more western countries so that, in the words of the PA ambassador to the UN in Geneva,

"It will help us to explain to the Israelis that the international community is with the Palestinians to achieve their hopes and their dreams."

The PA still doesn't get it. No one gives a crap about their hopes and dreams. They care about destroying Israel. The PA is like the rich kid at school that nobody likes, but they all kiss his ass because he has a pool. The UN is a tool of OPEC and the Arab League, which is highly motivated to destroy Israel as Jews in their land is an affront to Islam (never mind that the convert or be killed dogma of Islam is an affront to those who cherish human freedom.

Of course, the ultimate sham in this grandiose sham of shams, is that the PA has an ambassador to the UN in Geneva at all. We are talking about a state that has never existed, and has rejected every effort made to make it exist. And what's worse, this sham state was whipped up out of the ether with the sole purpose of ending Israel. It's very recognition with an ambassadorship is a testimony to the UN's approval of all things anti-Israel.

The Marackian version of the story is that, using his powers of HopeyDopeyness, he was able to persuade the Falacstinians from pushing forward with the vote on the report as it would do damage to the peace process. If this is in fact true, it means that he took Bibi seriously when he said that Israel would be hard pressed to take any risks for peace if the world community was going to effectively strip Israel of its right to self-defense.

The reality is that Marack wants two things:

1. Having a peace agreement between the Israelis and the Falacstinians on his 2012 resume, and
2. Having that agreement lead directly to Israel's destruction so he can be crowned the supreme hero of the Arab and Islamic world, which he hopes will lead to being given a really cool turban.

The Israeli version of the story goes like this, as reported in JPOST:

Israel's Ambassador to the UN in Geneva, Aharon Leshno-Yaar, credited both Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman with the Palestinians' decision to withdraw the resolution they had authored.

"What happened today is proof that their strategy of not cooperating" with the four-person fact-finding mission led by South Africa jurist Richard Goldstone "was correct... Israel insisted from the beginning that this was about politics against the State of Israel and not human rights. It emphasized the primacy of the peace process. It is a precedent for all states fighting terror," said Leshno-Yaar.

Regardless of which version is accurate, the truth remains that this vote will not take place this week; a blow to the Arabs, who are seeking with as much vehemence as they apply to killing Jews, the ability to legalize using their population as human shields, while firing indiscriminately at Israeli civilians. And it is a victory for Israel which is desiring to maintain its legal right under international law to defend itself against attack, even if the aggressor is so evil that they drag their civilians onto rooftops to protect themselves from the IDF and IAF.

These people that the world so greatly desires to grant statehood to, who shoot up weddings of their rivals, hang gays in the street, and condone honor killings, all while working night and day to effect the genocide of the Jewish people, are not worthy of the political legitimization they have received from three US Presidents, and the international community. The fact that they have been given this status is the real crime, but I don't suspect that scumbags like Richard Goldstone are going to be investigating that any time soon.

Bibi On The Goldstone Vote

The UN Human Rights Council, a bastion of hypocrisy surpassed only by the UN itself, is going to vote on whether to endorse or reject the Goldstone Report in which Israel has been found guilty of violating the human rights of terrorists, who admittedly use civilians as human shields, by defending herself against said terrorists.

Reminding his cabinet, and the world, what is at stake should the Goldstone sham be endorsed, Bibi said the following:

"In the next 24 hours a vote will be cast in Geneva within the UN Human Rights Council. I remind you that this very council has adopted more resolutions targeting Israel than resolutions targeting all other 180 countries in the world put together.

"If the council decides to endorse the Goldstone report it will deal a fatal blow to three major issues: Firstly, it will harm the war on terror, because it will legitimize terrorists who hide behind civilians and fire from their midst.

"The second devastating blow will be to the UN's status and its prestige. It will take it back to its darkest days when absurd decisions were passed within its assembly and empty it of all meaning." [referring to the 1975 UN vote that Zionism is racism]

The third issue is the peace process itself. Netanyahu made it clear to the world that "Israel will not be willing to take risks for peace if stripped of its right to self-defense."

Does this mean that if the UNHRC endorses the Goldstone Report that Bibi will tell Marack to take the settlement freeze and cram it? Let's hope so. As strong as his words are, I'm still waiting for action from Bibi. An open rejection of a freeze is the best first step. Step 2? Expand existing communities, and replace road blocks that were recently opened, a move which has already led to Arab attacks on Jews. Step 3? Reject the creation of an Arab state west of the Jordan. They got the east bank. They can have it.

Neighborhood Bully For Hire

Yes, the country that the world loves to hate has received another signal that bombing Iran's nuclear program back to the stone age might not be such a bad thing. The most notable has been Saudi Arabia's pressuring of Little Lord Fraudleroy to support Israel should she launch an offensive against the ranting, raving Holocaust denying, civilian protestor slaughtering morons, and enemy of the Sunnis, in Tehran.

With the Jew Hating Racist Resident in the White House seemingly uncaring about Iran getting nukes, and his recent announcement that Europe, gosh darn it, isn't getting any missile defense systems, the Europeans must be quietly crapping themselves. So what did I read today? That Germany has delivered two Dolphin Class submarines that have been fitted, by Israelis in Germany, to carry cruise missiles tipped with nuclear warheads at a range of 2810 miles. Just in case you were wondering, the distance from Tel Aviv to Tehran is about 993 miles.

What I find really interesting is that these subs weren't supposed to be delivered until 2010. An early birthday present from the Germans? Who would have thunk it?

And speaking of interesting, here are some poll numbers that indicate that, for the first time, a majority of Jewish Americans support the US launching a strike against Iran's nuclear program, and an even greater number supporting a strike by Israel. A majority support maintaining an undivided Jerusalem. The numbers also show that the majority still approve Marack's handling of US-Israeli relations. Apparently reality is not that effective at unplugging Jews from the Marack kool-aid matrix...not that Marack gives a crap about what Jews think. He's going to replace their votes with illegal aliens and dead people in 2012 anyway.

"Darkness Is Dispelled Through Truth"

I've been away over the last few days. Shabbat was quickly followed by Yom Kippur this year. I, and many more in the Jewish community are still a bit overwhelmed by the speech given by Bibi Netanyahu at the UN General Assembly this past week. Though it's weight has yet to be backed by much in the way of action regarding a full rejection of a freeze on settlements, it has sparked a flame among Jews.

On Sunday evening, right before the Kol Nidre service which opens Yom Kippur, a man from my shul introduced me to his wife for the first time. They had come over here and watched Bibi's speech that I had posted. After seeing him rub the Assembly in the rotting stink of its own hypocrisy, while defiantly standing up for the Jewish people and Israel, a flame was kindled, and they decided to make aliyah to Israel.

Jews who had felt beaten down by the weight of the attacks and racism of the international community are now holding their heads up and are embracing defiance, embracing truth. The Land of Israel is the home of the Jewish people, and no other. Bibi talked about the how the Falacstinians also live there, and that they "want a home of their own." They can want all they like, but Eretz Yisrael is the home of the Jews, not the fiction created by Arafat and the Arab League.

Bibi told the truth. He told the truth in a building that turns a declaration of human rights into a complete sham. He told the truth to an institution that allows innocent people in Israel and Darfur die at the hands of Arabs because standing up for them does not suit its agenda. When asked about his speech by the Israeli media, Bibi made the following statement:

Every Jew who cares about our people, who cares about our land, and our unalienable rights to live free in our ancestral lands must take this year to stand up and speak the truth. Our rabbi spoke eloquently and passionately about Jewish leadership; that we cannot simply rely on rabbis or politicians, or prime ministers. We must be inspired to stand up and lead. We must be inspired to help drive the times in which we live. It is our choice to be carried along on the waves of history, or to be strong and make history.

The history of the Jewish people is filled with the stories of ordinary people who stood up and did extraordinary things. It's up to us to write new stories, to speak up and tell the truth, to ignite flames to dispel the darkness.

Bibi's Tshuva

In his speech to the UN General Assembly, Bibi Netanyahu stood up and defended Israel, and the Jewish people against the racism of the Iranian Theocracy, and the racism of the UN. He shamed the worthless sons of bitches in that worthless piece of crap building that houses that worthless piece of crap organization which watches silently while we are murdered by rockets and homicide bombs; while genocide is committed in Darfur, and then condemns us for fighting back against those that have sworn to enact and execute our destruction.

I disagree vehemently with his assertion regarding a state for the Falacstinians, unless that state exists on the eastern bank of the Jordan River, on land that was promised to us by Britain, and then given to the Arabs. But am proud to see that he made it clear that we will decide our friends and enemies based on who approves of the racist Goldstone Report, and who rejects it. There can be no double standard. There is no reason for us to tolerate it.

Since Abbas has announced there will be no negotiations, Bibi can complete his Tshuva, his turning back to his people and his Creator, by allowing Jewish construction in Yesha to continue unabated, and for new communities to be built until we fulfill our obligation to settle the land. Considering however what happened in Chomesh on Thursday, I'd say this is not on the horizon, and so it is trouble ahead.

Mr. President, Ladies and Gentlemen,

Nearly 62 years ago, the United Nations recognized the right of the Jews, an ancient people 3,500 years-old, to a state of their own in their ancestral homeland.

I stand here today as the Prime Minister of Israel, the Jewish state, and I speak to you on behalf of my country and my people.

The United Nations was founded after the carnage of World War II and the horrors of the Holocaust. It was charged with preventing the recurrence of such horrendous events.

Nothing has undermined that central mission more than the systematic assault on the truth.

Yesterday the President of Iran stood at this very podium, spewing his latest anti-Semitic rants.

Just a few days earlier, he again claimed that the Holocaust is a lie.

Last month, I went to a villa in a suburb of Berlin called Wannsee. There, on January 20, 1942, after a hearty meal, senior Nazi officials met and decided how to exterminate the Jewish people.

The detailed minutes of that meeting have been preserved by successive German governments. Here is a copy of those minutes, in which the Nazis issued precise instructions on how to carry out the extermination of the Jews. Is this a lie?

A day before I was in Wannsee, I was given in Berlin the original construction plans for the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp. Those plans are signed by Hitler’s deputy, Heinrich Himmler himself. Here is a copy of the plans for Auschwitz-Birkenau, where one million Jews were murdered. Is this too a lie?

This June, President Obama visited the Buchenwald concentration camp. Did President Obama pay tribute to a lie?

And what of the Auschwitz survivors whose arms still bear the tattooed numbers branded on them by the Nazis?

Are those tattoos a lie? One-third of all Jews perished in the conflagration.

Nearly every Jewish family was affected, including my own. My wife's grandparents, her father’s two sisters and three brothers, and all the aunts, uncles and cousins were all murdered by the Nazis. Is that also a lie?

Yesterday, the man who calls the Holocaust a lie spoke from this podium. To those who refused to come here and to those who left this room in protest, I commend you. You stood up for moral clarity and you brought honor to your countries.

But to those who gave this Holocaust-denier a hearing, I say on behalf of my people, the Jewish people, and decent people everywhere: Have you no shame? Have you no decency?

A mere six decades after the Holocaust, you give legitimacy to a man who denies that the murder of six million Jews took place and pledges to wipe out the Jewish state.

What a disgrace! What a mockery of the charter of the United Nations! Perhaps some of you think that this man and his odious regime threaten only the Jews. You're wrong.

History has shown us time and again that what starts with attacks on the Jews eventually ends up engulfing many others.

This Iranian regime is fueled by an extreme fundamentalism that burst onto the world scene three decades ago after lying dormant for centuries.

In the past thirty years, this fanaticism has swept the globe with a murderous violence and cold-blooded impartiality in its choice of victims.

It has callously slaughtered Moslems and Christians, Jews and Hindus, and many others.

Though it is comprised of different offshoots, the adherents of this unforgiving creed seek to return humanity to medieval times.

Wherever they can, they impose a backward regimented society where women, minorities, gays or anyone not deemed to be a true believer is brutally subjugated.

The struggle against this fanaticism does not pit faith against faith nor civilization against civilization.

It pits civilization against barbarism, the 21st century against the 9th century, those who sanctify life against those who glorify death.

The primitivism of the 9th century ought to be no match for the progress of the 21st century.

The allure of freedom, the power of technology, the reach of communications should surely win the day.

Ultimately, the past cannot triumph over the future. And the future offers all nations magnificent bounties of hope.

The pace of progress is growing exponentially. It took us centuries to get from the printing press to the telephone, decades to get from the telephone to the personal computer, and only a few years to get from the personal computer to the internet.

What seemed impossible a few years ago is already outdated, and we can scarcely fathom the changes that are yet to come.

We will crack the genetic code. We will cure the incurable. We will lengthen our lives. We will find a cheap alternative to fossil fuels and clean up the planet.

I am proud that my country Israel is at the forefront of these advances – by leading innovations in science and technology, medicine and biology, agriculture and water, energy and the environment. These innovations the world over offer humanity a sunlit future of unimagined promise.

But if the most primitive fanaticism can acquire the most deadly weapons, the march of history could be reversed for a time. And like the belated victory over the Nazis, the forces of progress and freedom will prevail only after an horrific toll of blood and fortune has been exacted from mankind.

That is why the greatest threat facing the world today is the marriage between religious fanaticism and the weapons of mass destruction. The most urgent challenge facing this body is to prevent the tyrants of Tehran from acquiring nuclear weapons. Are the member states of the United Nations up to that challenge? Will the international community confront a despotism that terrorizes its own people as they bravely stand up for freedom?

Will it take action against the dictators who stole an election in broad daylight and gunned down Iranian protesters who died in the streets choking in their own blood? Will the international community thwart the world's most pernicious sponsors and practitioners of terrorism?

Above all, will the international community stop the terrorist regime of Iran from developing atomic weapons, thereby endangering the peace of the entire world?

The people of Iran are courageously standing up to this regime. People of goodwill around the world stand with them, as do the thousands who have been protesting outside this hall. Will the United Nations stand by their side?

Ladies and Gentlemen, The jury is still out on the United Nations, and recent signs are not encouraging. Rather than condemning the terrorists and their Iranian patrons, some here have condemned their victims.

That is exactly what a recent UN report on Gaza did, falsely equating the terrorists with those they targeted.

For eight long years, Hamas fired from Gaza thousands of missiles, mortars and rockets on nearby Israeli cities. Year after year, as these missiles were deliberately hurled at our civilians, not a single UN resolution was passed condemning those criminal attacks. We heard nothing – absolutely nothing – from the UN Human Rights Council, a misnamed institution if there ever was one.

In 2005, hoping to advance peace, Israel unilaterally withdrew from every inch of Gaza. It dismantled 21 settlements and uprooted over 8,000 Israelis. We didn't get peace. Instead we got an Iranian backed terror base fifty miles from Tel Aviv. Life in Israeli towns and cities next to Gaza became a nightmare. You see, the Hamas rocket attacks not only continued, they increased tenfold. Again, the UN was silent.

Finally, after eight years of this unremitting assault, Israel was finally forced to respond. But how should we have responded? Well, there is only one example in history of thousands of rockets being fired on a country's civilian population. It happened when the Nazis rocketed British cities during World War II. During that war, the allies leveled German cities, causing hundreds of thousands of casualties. Israel chose to respond differently. Faced with an enemy committing a double war crime of firing on civilians while hiding behind civilians – Israel sought to conduct surgical strikes against the rocket launchers.

That was no easy task because the terrorists were firing missiles from homes and schools, using mosques as weapons depots and ferreting explosives in ambulances. Israel, by contrast, tried to minimize casualties by urging Palestinian civilians to vacate the targeted areas. We dropped countless flyers over their homes, sent thousands of text messages and called thousands of cell phones asking people to leave. Never has a country gone to such extraordinary lengths to remove the enemy's civilian population from harm's way.

Yet faced with such a clear case of aggressor and victim, who did the UN Human Rights Council decide to condemn? Israel. A democracy legitimately defending itself against terror is morally hanged, drawn and quartered, and given an unfair trial to boot.

By these twisted standards, the UN Human Rights Council would have dragged Roosevelt and Churchill to the dock as war criminals. What a perversion of truth. What a perversion of justice.

Delegates of the United Nations, Will you accept this farce? Because if you do, the United Nations would revert to its darkest days, when the worst violators of human rights sat in judgment against the law-abiding democracies, when Zionism was equated with racism and when an automatic majority could declare that the earth is flat.

If this body does not reject this report, it would send a message to terrorists everywhere: Terror pays; if you launch your attacks from densely populated areas, you will win immunity. And in condemning Israel, this body would also deal a mortal blow to peace. Here's why.

When Israel left Gaza, many hoped that the missile attacks would stop. Others believed that at the very least, Israel would have international legitimacy to exercise its right of self-defense. What legitimacy? What self-defense? The same UN that cheered Israel as it left Gaza and promised to back our right of self-defense now accuses us –my people, my country - of war crimes? And for what? For acting responsibly in self-defense. What a travesty! Israel justly defended itself against terror.

This biased and unjust report is a clear-cut test for all governments. Will you stand with Israel or will you stand with the terrorists?

We must know the answer to that question now. Now and not later. Because if Israel is again asked to take more risks for peace, we must know today that you will stand with us tomorrow. Only if we have the confidence that we can defend ourselves can we take further risks for peace.

Ladies and Gentlemen, All of Israel wants peace. Any time an Arab leader genuinely wanted peace with us, we made peace. We made peace with Egypt led by Anwar Sadat. We made peace with Jordan led by King Hussein. And if the Palestinians truly want peace, I and my government, and the people of Israel, will make peace.

But we want a genuine peace, a defensible peace, a permanent peace. In 1947, this body voted to establish two states for two peoples – a Jewish state and an Arab state. The Jews accepted that resolution. The Arabs rejected it.

We ask the Palestinians to finally do what they have refused to do for 62 years: Say yes to a Jewish state. Just as we are asked to recognize a nation-state for the Palestinian people, the Palestinians must be asked to recognize the nation state of the Jewish people. The Jewish people are not foreign conquerors in the Land of Israel. This is the land of our forefathers.

Inscribed on the walls outside this building is the great Biblical vision of peace: "Nation shall not lift up sword against nation. They shall learn war no more." These words were spoken by the Jewish prophet Isaiah 2,800 years ago as he walked in my country, in my city, in the hills of Judea and in the streets of Jerusalem.

We are not strangers to this land. It is our homeland. As deeply connected as we are to this land, we recognize that the Palestinians also live there and want a home of their own. We want to live side by side with them, two free peoples living in peace, prosperity and dignity.

But we must have security. The Palestinians should have all the powers to govern themselves except those handful of powers that could endanger Israel.

That is why a Palestinian state must be effectively demilitarized. We don't want another Gaza, another Iranian backed terror base abutting Jerusalem and perched on the hills a few kilometers from Tel Aviv.

We want peace.

I believe such a peace can be achieved. But only if we roll back the forces of terror, led by Iran, that seek to destroy peace, eliminate Israel and overthrow the world order. The question facing the international community is whether it is prepared to confront those forces or accommodate them.

Over seventy years ago, Winston Churchill lamented what he called the "confirmed unteachability of mankind," the unfortunate habit of civilized societies to sleep until danger nearly overtakes them.

Churchill bemoaned what he called the "want of foresight, the unwillingness to act when action will be simple and effective, the lack of clear thinking, the confusion of counsel until emergency comes, until self-preservation strikes its jarring gong.”

I speak here today in the hope that Churchill's assessment of the "unteachibility of mankind" is for once proven wrong. I speak here today in the hope that we can learn from history -- that we can prevent danger in time. In the spirit of the timeless words spoken to Joshua over 3,000 years ago, let us be strong and of good courage. Let us confront this peril, secure our future and, God willing, forge an enduring peace for generations to come.

Bibi Blows It Twice & Marack's Cosmic Smackdown

So while most of us have heard Marack's UN speech and understand that he has committed himself to forcing Israel to give up Jerusalem, all of Yesha, and be bisected to create a contiguous Falacstinian hell hole terror state, facilitaing Israel's demise, Bibi is prancing through the flowers naked like a pixie waxing poetic about how Marack recognized Israel as a Jewish state. What's the point if its only purpose is for it to be destroyed by Arabs? Yesterday he seemed to back off his racist stance on settlements. Today, the Little Racist That Could called Israeli communities in Yesha illegitimate.

Someone needs to slap Bibi in the face, as he is being a complete putz. It looks like the first slap is coming from National Union MK, Arye Eldad:

"The president of the United States wants to force upon Israel a Palestinian state in pre-1967 borders, which Netanyahu was elected to prevent. Netanyahu must take action now to prevent this from happening or he will enter Israel into the trap that Obama is setting and we won't be able to escape."

Have I not been saying all along that the settlement freeze was a trap? Have I not been saying all along that Marack wants Israel at the Auchwitz Lines?

Likud MK, Yarid Levin, who has been standing with Likudniks like Tzipi Hotovely and Danny Danon against the settlement constriction, still doesn't quite get it:

"The policies of the president and his advisers are still mistaken, so we still have to stand up for our interests. Obama's statements about the Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria are unfortunate and don't advance peace. Over time Obama will realize that he was wrong. Until then, we are still in the middle of a complicated struggle."

With all due respect, and I mean that sincerely, not in that mock way like when I say it about Oblah-di-Obaduh, Marack is never going to realize he is wrong. He wants Israel destroyed, and sees creating Falacstine as the way of accomplishing it, just as the Arab League saw it when they created the PLO in 1964...before there were "settlements."

The only position for Israel to take now is to reject the White House, refuse Marack's envoys, reject the settlement constriction, destroy Fatah and Hamas permanently, and rapidly expand ALL Jewish communities in Yesha. We must stand on our claim to Eretz Yisrael as the indigenous people of the land, as based on our history, our Torah, and the international community that recognized that the land between the Jordan and the Mediterranean belongs to us. There is no place for an Arab state there. There is no legitimate Arab claim there. As long as the Jew Hating White House Resident advances the notion that there is, he should be utterly rejected by the government of Israel, as should his envoys. He is the enemy of Israel. There is no refuting it now.

Whether Marack knows it or not, taking on Israel is a big mistake. Cosmic Smackdowns have been levied on the "great" powers before.

Bibi is giving a speech before the General Assembly of Racist Hypocrites. Will it be his third strike, or will he hit a homerun? My guess is he'll legitimate the creation of a Falacstinian state. If he does, he has to be forced out of the big chair.

Kol HaKavod L'Zahal!

Caroline Glick's latest post, a response to the Goldstone Report, features a loving tribute to the men and women of Zahal, who not only put their lives on the line to protect Eretz Yisrael, they face the ridicule and scorn or the international gang of Jew hating scumbags at the UN, and the worldwide consortium of racist leftist scumbags that never jump at the chance of showing off their hypocrisy by defending the human rights of Hamas.

I have been very fortunate, Bizrat Hashem, to have never lost any friends or family in the IDF as a result of war. But I mourn for each we lose. When we lose one, we lose an entire world.

Bibi Blows It Completely

Given yet another opportunity to defend Israel's sovereignty, its irrefutable claim to Yehuda and Shomron, and the chance to kick both Abbas and Pampers in the nuts on live television, Bibi blew it completely...duh.

The namby-pamby, kowtowing to Bambi Prime Minister of Israel said:

"There was general agreement, including on the part of the Palestinians, that the peace process has to be resumed as soon as possible with no preconditions."

Hey dummy...remember that speech you gave at Bar Ilan where you gave five preconditions to a PA terror state? Let me refresh your memory:

1. Israel has defensible borders (meaning no Auchwitz Lines of 1967).
2. Jerusalem remains the undivided capital of Israel (nothing for the Arabs).
3. The Falacstinians get to have the refugees.
4. The PA state is unarmed.
5. The Arabs must unequivocally accept Israel as a Jewish nation; the eternal homeland of the Jewish people.

Um...I'm pretty sure those are preconditions.

Now apparently some members of the Israeli media are applauding because no preconditions means no need for a settlement freeze. What a triumph for Bibi!

Wrong. We're talking about the Neighborhood Bully, the rules don't apply to him.

Abu in a Suit told the press:

"In today's meetings we confirmed our positions and commitment to the road map and its implementation. We also demanded that the Israeli side fulfill its commitments on settlements, including on natural growth.

"As for resuming talks, this depends on a definition of the negotiating process that means basing them on recognizing the need to withdraw to the 1967 borders and ending the occupation, as was discussed with the previous Israeli government when we defined the occupied territories as the West Bank, Gaza and Jerusalem.

"This was reiterated in the talks with President Obama and in the trilateral talks. We believe the American administration will review the positions of the two sides in the coming weeks to make it possible for us to renew peace talks based on our stated position."

So the PA commitment to the Highway To Hell Map is continuing to advocate the destruction of Israel? I mean, that is what Fatah agreed to in Beit Lechem this summer.

So, what can we take away from this stage of the fiasco? The Arabs have come out with their preconditions, while Bibi gave all his away. Now, Bibi could now say that Abbas has violated the spirit of the meeting by coming out with a pile of preconditions to the no preconditions talks. And Marack, if he wasn't an Israel bashing Jew hater, could say that this kind of talk from Abbas is counterproductive, and the White House could start pressuring the Arabs. But...say it with me...monkeys will fly out of my butt first.

No, the door is now open for the White House to back Abbas' position. And apparently the settlement freeze talks are still on. So, once again, the rules only apply to Israel.

But don't take my word for it. Yoram Ettinger agrees with me completely. Concessions and playing nice are very very bad for Israel.

Bibi should have kicked them both in the nuts. Especially in light of the fact that Marack took Iran's drive for the bomb off the agenda at his Little Lord Fraudleroy session leading of the UNSC...a move made two weeks ago. The conventional wisdom has been that Bibi is caving in the hopes of getting the White House green light (which Israel does not need) to bomb Iran's nuclear program back to the Stone Age.

Bibi should have kicked them both in the nuts.

Pampers, Pampers, and More Pampers

For those of you who have been long time readers, you know that before he was Marack (Hebrew for soup), Obama was Pampers. Now it seems Pampers have come full circle in the form of Israeli protests against, Bibi's meeting with Barry at the UN.

Apparently, the protestors think that Marack will make Bibi poop his pants, so they brought diapers for him to wear. I'm looking for a word...oh yeah...it's...

HILARIOUS!!!

Too bad the subject is not so hilarious. But the truth is, all Bibi has to do is tell the truth; the truth that everyone in Israel understands, with the exception of the Leftist Golems, is that there is no peace in Israel's future, except the the one it enforces for itself with strength, resolve, defiance, and the determination not to cave to the international consortium of Jewish Death Cult Incorporated. This means not giving up anymore land, and doing exactly what the Jewish nation was commanded to do 3000 years ago...settle it.

So here's a glimpse of Pampers for Pampers. Bibi, all we are saying is don't poop in your pants.

Protestors have erected a tent by Bibi's home as a stage from which to voice their displeasure with Bibi's talking about a Falacstinian state, and his proposed freezing of construction in Judea and Samaria. And so it begins. Likud Minister, Benny Begin, visited the tent saying:

"Your resistance is important and empowering; the right of Jews to settle in the land of Israel cannot be trampled."

Nice words from Begin, but will he maintain this opinion, or will he continue to be a vacillating waffle? What's more important is resistance from people like Begin, and the rest of Likud. In the end, that's where this nonsense must be stopped.

This meeting with Bibi, Marack, and Abu in a Suit at the UN is just another dog and pony show, a photo op for the current king of photo ops, whose entire Residency in teh White House has been nothing but a colossal dog and pony show...so par for the course. I have very little hope that we'll see Bibi kick Abbas in the nuts...but I Jew can dream, right?
