While some are speculating that the Tushy Obama administration is changing tack by
renewing sanctions against Syria, I call bullshit on that. Are we supposed to believe that
the man who gave an approving nod to joint military exercises between Turkey and Syria, as well as Turkish arms sales to Lebanon, the government of which has committed to fighting alongside Hezbollah, which is supplied by Iran via SYRIA, is serious about sanctions?
Don't be fooled. While the "sanctions" are renewed, high level American diplomats were in Damascus chatting up the Syrians.
It is my belief that these "sanctions" are meant to fool Binyamin Netanyahu into a false warm and fuzzy feeling about the Tushy. I'm not buying, and neither should you.
Still waiting for the Tushy's Secretary of State to condemn Abbas' rejection of the notion of a Jewish state...

Yes I too believe it is bullshit....it is meant to hide something evil...like lulling bibi into a sense of false security!
I was a bit off on that ... the resident evil wants Turkey to talk Israel into giving up the Golan Heights back to Syria! I guess it worse than a weapons deal!
Bibi has already said the Golan is off the table. Israel is not giving up her security or the water.

Too bad Abdullah isn't as handsome as his Daddy- King Hussein was a looker! Kind of a short Omar Sharif, for what it's worth. Maybe Abdullah has lower self-esteem as a result, making him more susceptible to BO's finaglings.
