Idiot Wind

So I've been spending a lot of time (frankly too much time) reading some of the political blogs being generated by some of the news outlets, particularly msnbc's Firstread.  Now it probably won't come as a shock to anyone that I think that the American electorate is largely a bunch of knee jerk idiots who will believe whatever they are told.  But I had no idea that so many are just plain stupid.

The insipid comments that I read on a daily basis make me wonder how these people managed to get themselves registered to vote (and I'm sure plenty are not).  If literacy tests were still used I would venture to guess that more than 50% would be ineligible.  Here's an example.

Since Barack Obama has been running around the country in his traveling snake oil show telling Americans that he doesn't take money from lobbyists I found it very interesting to read an article from the LA Times that he's actually lying about that.  I decided to post a link to the article on a few separate entries to do my part to wake people up to the Obama myth.  This one was on the subject of John Edwards cancelling his meeting today with Barack Obama.  I stated that he probably didn't want to meet with someone who lies about taking lobbyist money.  I then posted the link to the article

Later in the thread I got the following reply: "So Obama is responsible for what his NON-lobbyist donors otherwise do with their money?  So if one of Hillary's donors murder someone, she is a party to murder, right?  I see you display the same keen logic of many other Hillary supporters...Run along now, I think it's your nappy time."

Steve you are a fucking idiot who obviously did not read the article.  Saying you don't take money from lobbyists while you take it from their wives, their law firms, and the corporations they represent is not change.  It's deceptive and speaks to the kind of ethical system that Mr. Obama operates under; a system that tells him that it's okay to lie to the American people in order to take advantage of their disillusionment with government.  You are so high on the Obama Kool-aid it's a wonder you even know how to breathe.  I suppose that shady ethics and lies are okay by you since they are okay with Obama.  It's morons such as yourself that make me feel that parents should have to take a test to determine whether or not they should be allowed to reproduce.  You sir, are the perfect reason why abortion should remain safe and legal.  Do America a favor you sycophantic ass wipe; don't post on the internet until the acid wears off.

Quite frankly I think I should contact Governor Richardson's office and suggest that Steve be deported to say Sweden.  I like how he automatically assumed that I'm a Clinton supporter because I posted something truthful about the golden god of change.  I'm a Richardson supporter you asshole!

If Steve is an example of the youth and new voters Obama is attracting then I'm seriously thinking we need to reconsider the voting age.  We live in a nation of morons.
