It's the same in any lingo

How can one be compelled to accept slavery? I simply refuse to do the master's bidding. He may torture me, break my bones to atoms and even kill me. He will then have my dead body, not my obedience. Ultimately, therefore, it is I who am the victor and not he, for he has failed in getting me to do what he wanted done. ~ Mahatma Gandhi
If I am not for myself, who will be for me? If I am not for others, what am I? If not now, when? ~ Rav Hillel, Pirke Avot

The New Arab Pastime: The Run And Hit

For the benefit of Arab cameras, Arab boys in Jerusalem throw stones at Jewish drivers. While the media is circulating photos taken by said Arabs of the Jew driving his car to hit the stone throwers, the video tells the real story. The boys were struck by the car after the driver swerved to avoid them. It is quite clear that they intentionally ran in front of the moving car, presumably to get a better shot at hitting the driver with their stones. The more likely story is that at the behest of the photographers, or their PA ringleaders, they got close to the car in order to provide dramatic photos to show the world how the Jews supposedly treat them.

It's an old ploy. The most famous case took the life of Rachel "Latkes" Corrie, who went to her death for the benefit of Arab terrorists. Whether it be human shields, or stunts like this, Arabs seem to have no qualms putting children in harm's way in order to broadcast false allegations about Jewish brutality. The sad part is that too many people are so stupid, or so racist, that they fail to see the truth, even with irrefutable evidence like this video.

From the smashed rear window of the car it should be clear to anyone that had the driver stopped he would have been putting himself, and his son who was with him, in grave danger. Who remembers the incident depicted in the photo below? Two Israeli soldiers wandered into an Arab area and were torn to pieces by a mob of Arabs. They kill Jews when they can, and bathe themselves in our blood.

Sure, let's give these people a state in the Jewish heartland as soon as possible...are you kidding me?

Meanwhile, instead of arresting the rock throwers the driver, David Be'eri, was detained by police for questioning. Nice. The incident involving Be'eri took place the day after an Arab mob attacked a Jewish repairman after completing a service call in an Arab neighborhood. The Israeli police refused to enter the neighborhood to help him. Instead he got out with the help of Arab elders there. No one from the Israeli police is getting hero of the month award anytime soon.

B"H Be'eri and his son lived to tell the tale, in spite of the fact that the world will most likely not believe the truth.

At the end of the clip I watched at INN news they were trying to get one of the kids into a private vehicle. It might just be me, but that kid was doing everything in his might NOT to get into the vehicle. Could it be that he is afraid to end up dead for "PR"? We are finding that it is more difficult to travel in Jerusalem, but the arabs walk freely and safely wherever they please. And now that festering pile of pus, abbas is crying to have UN soldiers in Jerusalem and the "West Bank". Seriously, we need good Jews to make Aliyah now--our country is in real danger.

Wait, wait, wait... let me see if I understand this... you're too scared or cowardly to defend your own country, so you want Jews from other countries to make aliyah... why? To make them fight so you won't have to?

I know lots of liberal Jews who think that Israelis are scheming tricksters who want some poor sucker Jews to come from other countries to join the military and get blown up. Your comments would only vindicate their beliefs, make them jump up and down, pointing, "See, see, I'm right, we can't trust those Israelis so let's all just stay where we are!"

As for the claim that Arabs can walk the streets of Jerusalem safely at night but Jews can't... while I wouldn't doubt that (especially from what I'm hearing from other people who are from or have been to Israel), some proof of your claims would be nice, please.

ADAP, I have a feeling you may be misreading the above comment. I don't get the sense that they are too scared to defend their country. The reality is that for years the government of Israel has failed to protect its citizens from this kind of violence. Read the story linked in this post about the repairman who could not get help from the Israeli police. This kind of thing has been going on for a long time.

When they say "good Jews need to make Aliyah now," I get the sense that this means that Jews who have their priorities straight need to make Aliyah to help change the political face of Israel from one that fails to address these incidents with real vehemence to one that refuses to let attacks on Jews of any kind to go unanswered, which essentially means removing politicians who fail to grasp that the Land of Israel is not for sale, should not be given away, and who will not tolerate these kinds of attacks in the capital of the Jewish people, or anywhere else in Eretz Yisrael.

Since the current government's dismantling of checkpoints and roadblocks, sniper attacks and ambushes have taken the lives of mothers and fathers just driving to or from work. Children have been orphaned, and for what, this farce of a peace process to placate the narcissist in the White House? An Israeli government that refuses to give up land to murderers and understands that Judea and Samaria were liberated in 1967, not occupied by Israel, and that the only occupation is that by illegal Arab terror armies can only come into power when the population reaches a tipping point where this view is acted on at the ballot box.

Perhaps I'm wrong, but that was my read.
