It's the same in any lingo

How can one be compelled to accept slavery? I simply refuse to do the master's bidding. He may torture me, break my bones to atoms and even kill me. He will then have my dead body, not my obedience. Ultimately, therefore, it is I who am the victor and not he, for he has failed in getting me to do what he wanted done. ~ Mahatma Gandhi
If I am not for myself, who will be for me? If I am not for others, what am I? If not now, when? ~ Rav Hillel, Pirke Avot

Kol HaKavod L'Zahal!

Caroline Glick's latest post, a response to the Goldstone Report, features a loving tribute to the men and women of Zahal, who not only put their lives on the line to protect Eretz Yisrael, they face the ridicule and scorn or the international gang of Jew hating scumbags at the UN, and the worldwide consortium of racist leftist scumbags that never jump at the chance of showing off their hypocrisy by defending the human rights of Hamas.

I have been very fortunate, Bizrat Hashem, to have never lost any friends or family in the IDF as a result of war. But I mourn for each we lose. When we lose one, we lose an entire world.

With HaShem's providence, may we never lose another.

A song of ascent.
I will raise my eyes upon the mountains;
Whence will come my help.
My help is from Hashem;
Maker of heaven and earth.
He will not allow your foot to falter;
Your Guardian will not slumber.
Behold he neither slumbers nor sleeps -- the Guardian of Israel.
Hashem is your Guardian;
Hashem is your shade at your right hand.
By day the sun will not harm you,
Nor the moon by night.
Hashem will protect you from every evil;
He will guard your soul.
Hashem will guard your going out and your coming in.
From this time and forever.

Shtuey, I'd love to know what your reaction is to Marack's UN speech. Bibi said he liked it but that was the diplomatic thing to say. Pampers makes me ill.

From what I've read of it, he's revealed himself as a propagandized, anti-Israel douche. Legitimate claims? The Arabs have no legitimate claims on a single inch of Eretz Yisrael. There is now no way any Jew who supports Israel can support Pampers now.

Bibi should have kicked him in the nuts. I would imagine that Obama's 4% approval rating in Israel is now in negative numbers.

The thing is that most everyone, including many Jews, think that there are legitimate claims; that a UN resolution is the mandate that Israel has been flaunting. How to convince folks otherwise, so it doesn't seem like Israel is unwilling to "compromise"?

My answer to that is that if the Arabs had legitimate claims they would have accepted the UN Res. 181 state in 1947, or an Arab state would have been created between 1949 and 1967 when Jordan occupied Judea and Samaria, forcing the Jews out, or when they were offered a state in 1999, 2000, and 2008. They had their shot. They blew it. They got their state when Jordan was created out of what was supposed to be Jewish lands. If the Falacstinians want a state so badly they can go claim that. Most people are completely ignorant about the history of the region. I don't think the world is going to start studying history now.

Fatah/PLO voted this summer to continue its attempted genocide of the Jewish people. It didn't go unreported. The fact that the UN made no comment about this, and considers Fatah a legitimate peace making body is all Israel needs to know. Israel stands alone against the World Jewish Death Cult that seeks to see us all dead.

Convincing the world of anything is not something Israel needs to do. It just needs to act in its interests for once, instead of trying to please a world community that openly advocates its destruction.

There is no need to compromise. The Falacstinian state already exists on the east side of the Jordan. That's why 70% of that country are not Hashemites.
