With respect to concerns Israel might carry out an air strike against Iranian nuclear facilities, the US president said that since Israel is "right there in the range" of Iranian missiles, "their calculation of costs and benefits are going to be more acute."
Obama remarked that he did not think it was his place to "determine for the Israelis what their security needs are."
That's a far cry from his administration's stance that Israel will not be protected from Iranian aggression if it does not commit national suicide by accepting the Palestinian mafia terror state run by Abu In A Suit Abbas, or his statement earlier in the week that he would not be pleased if Israel surprised the United States by launching a strike against Iran's nuclear capabilities.
I have news for the Liar Who Would Be King. This is what the Prime Minister of Israel said while running for office:
"If elected I pledge that Iran will not attain nuclear arms, and that includes whatever is necessary for this statement to be carried out."
On Yom Hashoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day, or as some "liberal" bloggers might call it, "Jewish Emotional Manipulation Day" (I'm sorry but I couldn't resist slapping the bee's nest), the Prime Minister made it clear that a Holocaust denying regime was not going to be allowed to launch a second Holocaust.
So, Diaper Man, if you sit around with your thumb up your ass while Iran fashions its refined uranium into a bomb, an Israeli attack on their nuclear facilities will not be surprise at all will it? You were warned. Of course the Resident didn't have the cojones to make this statement himself. He sent an envoy to Israel to convey the message. Nothing says tough like an envoy.
So let's review shall we? Diaper Man tried to blackmail Israel into accepting the terror kleptocracy state by threatening to offer no protection against Iran. He then tried to sell the Arabs a story that Iran is going to get the bomb because Israel wouldn't accept said final solution. Unfortunately for Pampers Israel has so far made it clear that it will not submit to blackmail, and the Arabs aren't buying the bullshit Pampers is shoveling. Whoops!
In his visit to Washington, Israeli President Shimon Peres made it clear that Israel is not going to curb the "natural expansion" of existing Jewish settlements in the West Bank. What does this mean? No Palestinian state on the pre-67 borders. No blackmail. So Barry is going to have to let go of that fool idea. The Arabs have made it clear they are not happy about Pampers false linkage between Palestinian statehood and Iranian nukes.
There is one final piece of the puzzle. What is Netanyahu going to tell the Tushy? If I were in his shoes I would tell him that there will be no Palestinian state on the '67 borders. There will be no Palestinian state controlled by Hamas and Fatah. Israel will do what it must to secure itself from a nuclear Iran, and does not take cues from the United States, or accept threats from any nation in determining what is best for her security and survival.
It comes down to this: Who is going to walk away from the visit with their nuts intact and who is not? If Netanyahu stands up to Barry then the Resident's impotence on the world stage will be complete. He could not rally the Arabs to his side to join in on the Israel/Iran blackmail, because he refused to see that the Arabs are more interested in preventing a nuclear Iran than they are in destroying Israel. He was laughed at during the G20 regarding his NATO forces demands. His bowing down to the head of the House of Saud accomplished nothing but national embarrassment.
If Netanyahu tells Pampers that Israel will not submit, much as Menachem Begin did in 1981, which Martin Sherman reminded us of this past week, then, for the first time since World War II (with perhaps the exception of the Carter administration), the face of international relations is completely shifted. Already the United States has limited credibility when it comes to dealing with the Taliban (the threat of a Taliban takeover of Pakistan is a far greater threat to Israel than Iran as Pakistan has nuclear weapons now, and Ehud Barak agrees with me). He has compromised NATO by sanctioning military exercises between Syria and Turkey, and Turkish arms sales to virtually Hezbollah controlled Lebanon. Can you tell me what our current policy is regarding Afghanistan, other than declaring there is no Al-Qaeda presence there? There is precious little in the way of policy being enacted toward the resurgent Russian empire other than a misspelled reset button.
Pampers predicated his entire foreign policy on uniting the Arab/Muslim world with the West over the destruction of Israel, but the Arabs don't want to be destroyed by a nuclear Iran either. The Resident failed to see that because he is an unqualified clown who has no business being in the White House, and who put his dislike of Israel and the Jews above the interests of the world and our allies. The worst part is that he is surrounded by people who know that but who are enabling him, and the rapid erosion of our standing as the leader of the free world.
Barry loves to apologize to the world for the Shrub. The Shrub was shocking to the world because they are used to seeing the President of the United States as being the leader of it in many respects. The arrogance and bullheaded stupidity of Shrub must have been a jolting shock. Now we have Pampers not only apologizing for this, but abdicating the leader of the free world mantle all together. I find it ironic that while he runs around the world apologizing for Shrub he continues to screw us at home by continuing to enact all the worst Shrub policies like FISA, and TARP, while maintaining the sham that is DHS.
Congratulations Mr. Resident. You are the worst President ever. And it only took you five months to do it.
Bibi, do Israel, and the American electorate a favor. .
