Who Owns Jerusalem?

Mahmoud al-Habbash believes the Falacstinians OWN Jerusalem. This is video of the sermon he gave on Friday, prior to Rabbi Ovadia's prayer for the destruction of Abbas and his vile genocidal henchmen. Note that Abu in A Suitabbas is seated prominently.

He claims it has always been this way, that it was always Falacstinian, and that it must be returned to the Falacstinians. This notion is so utterly laughable, so historically inaccurate, so incomprehensibly wrong, that this ludicrous claim will not be addressed here. Even Wikipedia fails to list Jerusalem as ever being the capital of Falacstine or controlled by Falacstinians, so let's not waste our time on that one.

We should address his notion of the "yearning" of Muslims for Jerusalem. It's mentioned in the Koran exactly zero times. It is mentioned in the Tanach (the Hebrew Bible) at least 820 times. We pray for the rebuilding of Jerusalem three times a day, every day. Muslims pray five times a day and never mention Jerusalem once. They do not face Jerusalem when they pray. They face Mecca. It has never been the capital of any Islamic state, or empire. Even Salah ad-Din, arguably the greatest military leader Islam has ever produced, did not make his capital in Jerusalem. There is no yearning for Jerusalem by Muslims. The notion is sheer lunacy. The only thing Muslims yearn in regards to Jerusalem is ridding it of Jews for the sake of our slaughter and dispossession.

But the greatest foolery of all is in fact this claim of ownership. It is not owned by Muslims or Falacstinians. It is not even "owned" by Jews. Yerushalayim belongs to HaKadosh Borachu, the Holy One, Blessed Is He. It is the place he sent Avraham Avinu to test his faith, where he was told to bind his beloved son Isaac and sacrifice him to Hashem. It is the place He chose to make his abode on earth, and it was the Nation of Israel that was charged with building and servicing this home, that was commanded to bring offerings there, that was commanded to gather for three yearly festivals (Pesach, Shavuot, and Sukkot), and to come together for the expatiation of our sins on Yom Kippur. The Muslims were not commanded to any of this; not by Allah, not by Mohammed, not by anyone.

Jerusalem will never be in your hands. It will not be the capital of a Falacstinian state. It has been restored to us, and we are its custodians, on behalf of the Most High.

The Holy City is Hashem's alone, and it is the Nation of Israel that He commanded to make it so. And when we pray three times a day for the rebuilding of Jerusalem, we also pray for the ingathering of our exiles, and that we live to see the day that His Sanctuary is rebuilt by our hands. So be careful al-Habbash, when you claim that you will bring war over Jerusalem because when you do, you do not fight Israel, or the Jewish people. You fight HaKadosh Borachu, an adversary you have no hope of defeating.

'Who is this that cometh from Edom, with crimsoned garments from Bozrah? This that is glorious in his apparel, stately in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in victory, mighty to save. Wherefore is Thine apparel red, and Thy garments like his that treadeth in the winevat? I have trodden the winepress alone, and of the peoples there was no man with Me; yea, I trod them in Mine anger, and trampled them in My fury; and their lifeblood is dashed against My garments, and I have stained all My raiment. For the day of vengeance that was in My heart, and My year of redemption are come. And I looked, and there was none to help, and I beheld in astonishment, and there was none to uphold; therefore Mine own arm brought salvation unto Me, and My fury, it upheld Me. And I trod down the peoples in Mine anger, and made them drunk with My fury, and I poured out their lifeblood on the earth.'
Yes, be careful what you wish for, Habbash...you will undoubtedly get it.

If The Sandal Fits...Wear It

The chief mafiosos of the Falacstinian Authority are whining like a bunch of babies again, calling the kettle black, throwing stones in glass houses, and declaring what is good for the goose is in fact not at all good for the gander. What's the hubbub from the professional victims at Falacstine Central now? They are furious over a statement made by the Shas Party's spiritual leader Rabbi Ovadia Yosef.

During his sermon this week he is quoted as praying that:
“our enemies and haters may come to an end, Abu Mazen and all these villains – may the Holy One, Blessed Be He, afflict them with the plague... these evil enemies of Israel.”
The Jerusalem Post is quoting him as saying Abbas is, "an evil hater of Israel." Ynet is quoting him as saying,
"Abu Mazen (Abbas) and all those evil men – may they perish from this world. May God Almighty strike them and these Palestinians."
You get the idea.

The statement was made in reference to a prayer recited at the feast for Rosh Hashana for our enemies and adversaries to be destroyed. He decided to pointedly apply it to Abbas and his henchmen, as well as all those who seek to destroy Israel and the Jewish people.

Let us make haste to the chief Falacstinian crybaby: Saeb Erekat. This genocidal nutbag, who would love nothing more than to wallow like a hippo in the blood of Jewish children, is condemning the statement naming it a call for the assassination of Abbas, and the genocide of the Falacstinian people (despite the fact that there is no such thing), demanding the statement be condemned by the Israeli government.

Himli al-Ghoul, an advisor to Abbas, said the statement:
“teaches us of the dangerous nature of the Israeli language of incitement and racism, which has spread not only to political circles but also in religious ones.”
Ahmed Tibi, former PLO advisor to the father of modern terrorism Yasser Arafat (may his bones be ground to dust), turned Knesset parliamentarian and widely considered to be working as an agent for the PLO, said Rabbi Yosef is leading those who spread curses and hatred and the "values of death and killing."

Well, I suppose these guys would know hatred, incitement, and the values of death and killing when they see it. I mean, they do air things like this on TV for their children to watch.

And of course, let us not forget that the charters of Fatah, Hamas, and the PLO are based on the destruction of Israel and the genocide of the Jewish people. And while the White House sends two-faced Dennis Ross to Israel to try and squeeze concessions on ending the construction freeze in Judea and Samaria, no one for the White House is making any effort to extract concessions that the Falacstinians accept Israel's right to exist as the Jewish homeland.

The irony is laughable. These sick genocidal degenerates, who live in multimillion dollar mansions with the world's money that they stole out of the mouths of their constituents, whose very political and financial existence is predicated on a death culture of suicide bombings where young children are raised on messages in the classroom and on TV that to blow oneself up in the act of killing Jews is honorable, who dedicated a public square to a terrorist, Dalal Mughrabi, the Fatah member who led an attack on an Israeli bus in 1978 in which 38 civilians, including 13 children, were murdered, have the temerity to demand the condemnation of a statement of one rabbi in Israel, and accuse Israel of incitement.

What Rabbi Yosef understands is that the destruction of our enemies is in the hands of HaKadosh Borachu. To pray to the G-d of Israel to destroy those that seek our deaths is long standing. It is a prayer to which we all say, "Amen." What makes Saeb Erekat and the rest of the crybabies so upset is that they know the shoe fits them. Too bad.

The Soul of The Arab Yearns For Something Completely Different

If he were alive to see it, Rabbi Meir Kahane (may G-d avenge his blood) would be laughing at his critics and saying, "I told you so." Kahane often stated publicly that he did not hate Arabs, but respected them. He respected them because they know who they are, and so did he. Again and again he made clear that no Arab is going to stand up and proudly sing the Israeli national anthem, "Ha Tikva" with its lines "Nefesh Yehudi homiyah," (the soul of the Jew yearns...). This past week in Israel it was seen that he was absolutely correct.

At a convention of all the school principals and supervisors, thirty Arab principals got up and walked out in protest when those gathered stood at the end of the meeting to sing the Israeli national anthem. Arutz Sheva reported that the educators were "stunned." Why should they have been stunned? The Arab does not have the soul of a Jew. The Arab does not share the national aspirations of the Jewish people. The Arab considers the reestablishment of Jewish sovereignty in our homeland as the "Nakhba," the catastrophe. This walkout should be a clarion call to Jews in Israel, and around the world, that continuing to believe that giving Arabs social services, healthcare, and other benefits for which they do not pay a shekel are ever going to buy their loyalty to Israel. They are loyal to the PLO, loyal to Hamas, and Fatah...the forces that desire our destruction, not to the Jewish people or our homeland.

Were there a Jew in power in Israel who feared HaKadosh Borachu, whose loyalty was to Am Yisrael, who understood and respected the fact the Arab's loyalty cannot be bought, and that in his heart he wants Israel gone, these thirty principals would have been fired on the spot and they and their families would be deported to one of the twentysomething Arab countries of the Middle East.

Somehow I don't think that's going to happen...but it should.

More Iranian Nuclear Fun

The hits just keep on coming from Iran. Yesterday it was reported on the Islamic Republic News Agency that Iran will officially load fuel into the Bushehr nuclear plant on the 16th of September.

Apparently, this Saturday is simply a delivery of fuel by Russia. IAEA representatives will be on hand to remove the seals from the fuel containers. It will then be stored at Bushehr until injection in September. That's a lot of time for nuclear fuel rods to just be hanging around, wouldn't you agree?

And today Iran announced that it is going to begin building a third uranium enrichment facility in 2011. If things go in Iran like they have in the past the third plant is already being built. Igogettajob has said Iran plans to build ten such facilities.

They ain't makin' Ovaltine folks.

Now, here's a little information posted over at Global Security.org that ought to be keeping everyone up tonight.
According to Paul Leventhal of the Nuclear Control Institute, if Iran were to withdraw from the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty (NPT) and renounce the agreement with Russia, the Bushehr reactor could produce a quarter ton of plutonium per year, which Leventhal said was enough for at least 30 atomic bombs. Harmon W. Hubbard raised similar concerns in an April 2003 article titled "Plutonium from Light Water Reactors as Nuclear Weapon Material" published by the Nonproliferation Policy Education Center (NPEC). Another report published by the NPEC in 2004 reiterated the concerns about light water reactors and plutonium production.
The report then goes on to say...
Normally for electrical power production the uranium fuel remains in the reactor for three to four years, which produces a plutonium of 60 percent or less Pu-239, 25 percent or more Pu-240, 10 percent or more Pu-241, and a few percent Pu-242. The Pu-240 has a high spontaneous rate of fission, and the amount of Pu-240 in weapons-grade plutonium generally does not exceed 6 percent, with the remaining 93 percent Pu-239. Higher concentrations of Pu-240 can result in pre-detonation of the weapon, significantly reducing yield and reliability. For the production of weapons-grade plutonium with lower Pu-240 concentrations, the fuel rods in a reactor would have to be changed frequently, about every four months or less.

Would Russia supply fuel that frequently? Probably not, especially if Iran pulled out from the NPT. Still wondering why Iran wants to build 10 enrichment plants? Bushehr, with a steady supply of new fuel, could crank out plutonium like there's no tomorrow.

Everyone feel better now?

Israel's Iran Window Closing This Week

Daniel Ben-Shmuel at The Jewish Fist reports on the Russian announcement that Iran's nuclear plant is going online. Despite assurances to the pResident from the Russian leadership that it would not bring Iran's nuclear reactor online this year, they will begin installing nuclear fuel rods at the Busheir nuclear plant on Saturday, August 21. Once the rods are installed there will be no way for Israel to attack the plant, and its outlying nuclear weapons facilities, without the potential for a widespread release of nuclear fallout.

It is important to note two things.
  1. When Israel bombed Iraq and Syria's nuclear plants it was done before any fuel rods were installed.
  2. This nuclear plant can be used to produce weapons grade plutonium.
In terms of radioactive fallout, attacking Iran's underground centrifuges poses less of a regional threat. Delaying an attack could have been a continued posture for a few more months. As of Saturday this will no longer be the case.

Complicating matters are reports that Russia has installed S-300 anti-missile batteries in Abkhazia on the Black Sea, ostensibly in anticipation of an Israeli attack.

Friends, Israel's red line is here. The world's red line is here. After Saturday there will be no going back. Make no mistake; it will not simply be Israel in jeopardy. All of the world will be ensnared and in danger.

Let us not simply blame the current pResident for this. His predecessors, and the world community also stood idly by while Iran pushed forward with its nuclear aspirations. All of this is now out of our hands. All we can do now is pray.

May HaKadosh Borachu grant wisdom and strength to Israel's leaders to do what must be done. Should they be called upon to strike Iran, may He strengthen and protect the men and women of the IDF and bring success to their operations. May He be a shield for all of Israel, bringing His people's enemies down to utter ruin.

Just For Kicks

So, Shabbat is over. Wondering what to do to kick off your week? Try playing this little fun game that I like to call, "Turkish Chemical Weapons Roulette. Use your search engine of choice and type in the words "State Department Condemns Turkey's Use of Chemical Weapons." My top hit was "Shaking Hands With Saddam Hussein.

Then type in "White House condemns Turkey's use of chemical weapons. I did. And I got this headline from hurriyet daily: "Western Countries Condemn Israeli Attack." I know, big shock there.

Then type in "UN condemns Turkey for use of chemical weapons." My top hit was "Hezbollah condemns UN report on demilitarization."

Then type in Turkey uses chemical weapons against Kurds. My top hit was "Turks hit PKK with chemical weapons." The news outlet reporting it? The Jerusalem Post.

If the headline replaced the name "Turkey" with "Israel" I suspect this game would have a completely different result with condemnations galore from every international body imaginable.

So, if you type in "Turkey uses chemical weapons against Kurds," 5 of the top 10 hits are Israeli news agencies and blogs. Seems that the folks who care the most are the ones who have the most to lose, besides the Kurds...the Jewish people.

Guess what all you Kurds out there...seems the world cares almost as little about you as it does for us.

Welcome to the club.

What's that? You didn't know Turkey used chemical weapons against the PKK? You mean Chuck Todd didn't report on it at MSNBC? No Chris Matthews either? What about Shep Smith?

You can also read about here, here, here, here, and here.

Did I mention that the photos mentioned in the Der Beagle article were taken in 2009? Gosh, it sure does take a long time for any sort of action to be taken on this kind of thing when it doesn't involve Israel.

World, you suck.

Lebanon Takes It's Ball and Goes Home

In a move that should wake up the world (as if it needed another wake up call...), the Lebanese Foreign Minister, Elias Murr, stated that if American aid comes with the caveat that they cannot use it for weapons to attack Israel then Uncle Sam can keep it.
“Whoever sets as a condition that the aid should not be used to protect Lebanon's land, people and borders from the [Zionist] enemy can keep their money.

“Let them keep their money or give it to Israel. We will confront [Israel] with our own capabilities.”
This statement was in response to the US House Foreign Affairs Committee decision to suspend aid to Lebanon due to the increased influence of Hizbullah in the Lebanese Army (read they control it), and the fear that the money would be spent on weapons with which it would attack Israel, an American ally (a fact that the White House has seemingly forgotten that while smoking their bong of Jew hate).

Berman stated:
“The incident on the Israel-Lebanon border only one day after my hold was placed simply reinforces the critical need for the United States to conduct an in-depth policy review of its relationship with the Lebanese military.”

Isn't it reassuring to know that the government of a sovereign nation (that is of course debatable in Lebanon's case) when confronted with another government's decision not to their liking pitches a hissy fit like a three-year-old?

Waaaaah! The United States won't let us attack the Zionist Entity! Waaaaaah!

What a bunch of babies. Let's see...with UNIFIL's complicity, and Lebanese government approval, the Lebanese army did a hit job on an Israeli Lt. Col, and gravely wounded an IDF captain, in clear violation of UN Resolution 1701 (which we know doesn't really mean squat, but that was the bit of diplomacy that kept Israel from bombing Hizbullah back to the stone age (that, and Ehud Olmert's lack of spine and his Defense Minister's utter incompetence).

The ultimate joke is that this tantrum followed a statement from another Lebanese official that they should look to Russia, China, Syria and Iran for future support. Everyone knows that Lebanon has been Syria's play thing for ages now, and has been getting Iranian weapons via Syria for years. Okay so they were largely going to Hizbullah, but since they now have de facto control of the government, and the military, there really is no difference.

In a normal world the community of nations would understand that Israel is indeed surrounded by neighbors that want her destroyed. But we live in Bizarro World where enemies are friends, allies are enemies, and bowing and scraping before despots passes for leadership.

So now the troika of Turkey, Syria, and Lebanon under Iran's sphere of influence is complete, all under the impotently stupid eye of the pResident of the United States who wasted a lot time playing patty-cake with these lunatics. Maybe send that worthless bootlick John Kerry back to Syria for another round of "Pin the Tail on Lurch." That oughta fix things.

Triumph In Jerusalem: Arab Squatters Evicted...The Real Story

Last week the rightful Jewish owners of a home in Jerusalem reclaimed their property from illegal Arab squatters. With authorization from the courts and the police, the Arabs were removed.

Naturally Haaretz injected their own sense of shadow to the story, making it all seem thuggish and potentially illegal, characterizing the action as a break in (read the comments to get into the beautiful sickness of the self-hating Jew, and his genocidal Arab cohort). They also erroneously refer to the area as the "Muslim" quarter, when in fact the home is in what had been an area populated by Jews until they were forced out in Arab pogroms against them. After the full forcible eviction of all of the Old City's Jews in 1948, not a Jew remained in the Old City.

Since Haaretz will not tell the truth about this incident, I am publishing the story conveyed to me by Rabbi Ben Packer of Our Jerusalem.

Rabbi Packer works on the front line to restore the rightful Jewish presence in Jerusalem and welcomes your support. Join Our Jerusalem on Facebook or go to the Israel Land Fund to learn how you can help continue the reclamation and final liberation of Jerusalem from illegal Arab occupation.

Beit Volero located on Rechov HaTzariach HaAdom, in the Al-Saadiyah neighbourhood, close to the Flowers gate, was the private residence of the Volero family. The property was formally purchased by Moshe Volero (power of attorney from father Yaakov Volero) in 1866.

As has been the story behind hundreds of homes in the Old City, the Jews were driven from their homes in one or other of the pogroms in the 1920's and 1930's. Arab squatters took over many of these properties and in 1967, they were deemed officially to be protected tenants. Over the years, a number of Jewish investors from Israel and abroad have 'effectively' bought again these homes to reclaim old Jewish properties. In some instances the properties have returned to the rightful Jewish heirs, once the protected tenancy rights have ceased.
Given the tense situation due to Arab pogroms, aggression and violence towards the Jews, the Volero family sold their residence to an Arab, around the year 1920.

Over 20 years ago, "Jewish concerns" managed to officially purchase the building from the Arab, but in the early years had to contend with an Arab family who were protected tenants. Once these protected tenancy rights had ceased, the Jewish owners had full right to move into 'their' building. The relevant arrangements were made, the official legal paperwork in hand, and without any need for ‘forcible eviction’ and without any ‘armed settlers’, as certain media outlets and UN representatives falsely claimed, Yeshiva students moved in to the apartments. Due to Arab violence in previous moves such as this, there was a need for some security guards and the Police were notified at the appropriate time.

At the time of writing this material, the courts have ratified the move, and it seems, that there will be some discussions in court next week as to the status of the last remaining Arab tenant in the original Beit Volero complex.

On early Thursday morning -18Av -29th July 2010, which symbolically was the anniversary of the 1929 riots and pogroms (instigated by the Nazi Grand Mufti Haj Amin El Husseini), Yeshiva students moved back into the old Volero residence.

In the immediate vicinity of this large Beit Volero complex, are another 12 Jewish families and Yeshiva students, who have returned to the old Jewish quarter of the old City.
In total there are today close to 1000 Jewish residents (Including Yeshiva students) that have returned home to the old Jewish Quarter in the heart of the Old City. (Today's Moslem and Christian Quarters)
May the trend continue and the illegal Arab occupation of Jerusalem be ended speedily in our days!

The Pro-Hamas Nutbags Set Sail With A Nun

How's this for a mixed metaphor? Just when you thought the Arabs couldn't sink any lower, they have raised the bar for classy. A ship is setting sail from Tripoli with only women aboard, including a pregnant woman...and a nun. Yes Nunly, you read that right...a nun! No doubt the Arabs believe that the Israelis will have a public relations nightmare on their hands when they have to deal with a ship all full of women. No doubt they are salivating at the hopes of gaining video of IDF commandos beating the nun like a baby seal, or kicking the pregnant woman in the stomach or some such.

These are the people with whom the world sympathizes. These are people to whom Israel must cede its land to in order to make everyone happy? This is who the Jews should commit suicide for...really? Anyone who continues to back these savages should be institutionalized.

To increase the drama level, the ship will be setting sail with "blood test equipment." According to Hizbullah pal Samar al-Hajj, this equipment is present, “in case we come under attack from Israel and you need a blood transfusion."

Give yourselves a moment to recover from the hysterical laughter.

Now watch this video as this sadistic racist buffoon threatens Israel. Wow Samar, what other flag will be on there, Hizbullah? Oooo....I'm sure Israel is shaking. Maybe it's flying the flag of the Idiot Republic of Genocidal Arab Fascists.

As part of this latest stunt from the lamest show on earth, the crew is comprised of Christians and Muslims, the ship was named after the virgin Mary and, according to al-Hajj there are not even cooking knives on board so there will be no appearance that the women on the Loveboat are armed. Well dummy, if there are no arms, and no acts of violence your ship will be diverted to Ashdod where all humanitarian aid will be unloaded and stupidly transferred overland to Gaza where Hamas will boost it and sell it at inflated prices.

So thanks for the entertainment, idiots. Next time you should send a ship with just duckies and bunnies.

And Another Update On The Sniper Attack

Big surprise. Now that the incident at the Lebanese border has been officially labeled a sniper attack we find out that it was authorized by higher ups in the Lebanese military. I think that assessment is wrong. I think this operation was carried out with the blessing of the Lebanese president, Michel Suleiman, at the behest of his Jizbullah overlords. His statement in the post below does not reflect this being a rogue act.

How stupid to these apes think we are? UNIFIL knew about the operation. The army knew about it. Everyone knew. The great disappointment for them is that Israel did not take the bait and open a full scale war against them, which puppet master Iran greatly desires. As the Iranian economy continues to collapse under the weight of their rather expensive nuclear weapons program, shrinking investment in oil and gas production, a manufacturing sector that is being taken over by the Republican Guard which further hobbles private investment, and sanctions that appear to actually be hurting, all while the threat of military action by Israel with the blessing of Sunni Arabs constantly looms, Iran needs something to give. It has invested quite a bit in Jizbullah and would like to see a return on that investment.

A conflict with Israel would accomplish several things. It would divert the attention of the IDF, it would be a show to the region that Iran has the cojones to take action against the "Zionist Entity" while the Arabs don't, and most important for these sick, genocidal nutbags...they could kill Jews.

I think the smart play is not to become embroiled in a war with Lebanon, but perhaps take care of a few of these scumbags Dubai style.

So sure, military higher ups in Lebanon knew this sniping would take place. I would contend that there isn't anyone in the Lebanese government or military that can take a dump without Syrian and Iranian permission. They want a war on Lebanese soil. Be careful what you wish for...you just might get it.

Coming after Shabbat, a little chat about the nutbags at VIPS and their latest attempt at seeking relevance.

Shabbat Shalom everyone.

A Tale of Two Tales: Firefight in Northern Israel (UPDATED)

Fire was exchanged this morning between Lebanese armed forces, some rumored to be Jizbullah, and the IDF at the border between Israel and Lebanon. Here is the tales being manufactured by the Associated Press.

The violence apparently erupted over a move by Israeli soldiers to cut down a tree along the fence dividing the two countries, a sign of the level of tensions at the border where Israel fought a war in 2006 with the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah.

A Lebanese army officer said the clash started when Israeli troops tried to remove a tree from the Lebanese side of the border.

An Associated Press photo shows an Israeli standing on a crane reaching over the fence that Israel erected to separate the two countries. The fence, however, does not match the U.N.-drawn border in all places, and the Israeli military said in a statement that the tree was in Israeli territory.
Question...why is the AP photo not running with the story? Instead they are running the article with a photo of a reporter who was killed during the incident. Perhaps they are still photoshopping it. To see the photo in question go here.
Ronith Daher, 32, a Lebanese journalist who was at the scene, said she saw a UNIFIL peacekeeper ask Israel not to allow the Israeli soldier to cross the fence and warned them the Lebanese troops would open fire. The Israelis proceeded, however, and Lebanese soldiers fired into the air, Daher said. She said the Israelis fired back directly at the Lebanese soldiers.
Question...why were multiple journalists and photographers at the scene when this incident began if it was not premeditated on the part of the Lebanese/Jizbullah?

UNIFIL spokesman Andrea Tenenti told Israel Radio that the circumstances were still unclear.
As you will see, UNIFIL was alerted to the IDF operation today in which brush and trees were being removed on the Israeli side of the border to give a clear line of sight into Lebanon to help maintain security in this volatile area. If UNIFIL was informed, and peacekeepers were there UNIFIL knows exactly what happened. The Lebanese president's reaction however is the blatant giveaway that this entire episode was manufactured by Lebanon/Jizbullah and done so with coordination by UNIFIL. Don't be surprised when the UN demands an investigation into the incident, creates a panel headed by a Judeophobe, and the report condemns Israel for an action it fully coordinated with UNIFIL.

Lebanese President Michel Suleiman denounced the fighting and urged the army commander to "confront any Israeli aggression whatever the sacrifices."

Suleiman said the shelling was a violation of the U.N. resolution that ended fighting between Israel and Hezbollah in 2006, saying Israeli troops had crossed the U.N.-drawn Blue Line boundary separating the two countries and fired on a Lebanese army checkpoint in Adeisseh.

Interesting that Suleiman was able to determine that Israel crossed the Blue Line when UNIFL officials say they are not sure what happened and that despite this he urged the military to engage in open hostilities against Israel.

Here is the text of the IDF's briefing on the incident. H/T to Carl in Jerusalem at Israel Matsav:
Today's unprovoked attack by the Lebanese army against the IDF, took place in Israeli territory along Israeli's Northern border. In some areas, there is a gap between the IDF security fence and the actual border, which is where this attack took place. IDF soldiers were conducting routine maintenance work including clearing bushes from the area. This sort of activity is crucial to keep an open line of sight, to prevent attacks and kidnappings, like the one in the summer of 2006, which was in a similar location.

This crucial work was fully coordinated with UNIFIL, and there was nothing unique about it.

A Lebanese sniper opened fire towards IDF forces in a clear and blatant violation of UN security council resolution 1701.

The IDF retaliated with artillery and helicopter fire.

IDF intelligence is investigating if this was premeditated attack.

The LAF opened fire not at the soldiers who were doing the routine maintenance work on the fence, but at the commanders who were standing nearby observing the work. This indicates that it was a preplanned attack not in reaction to the work on the fence.

We estimate 4 casualties on their side.

Some parts of the LAF are influenced by Hezbollah

After the initial exchange of fire, we were requested to suspend our fire so that they could evacuate their wounded. roughly half an hour after we suspended our fire, LAF shot an RPG at one of our tanks. They missed the tank and our tank returned fire.

IDF only opened fire in response to our soldiers being shot at and wounded.

This is the most serious incident along the northern border since 2006.
Iran has been attempting to get its proxies in Lebanon and Aza to provoke a conflict with Israel. Seeds are being sewn, and considering that UNIFIL was informed as to exactly what the IDF was going to be doing while it has consistently failed to prevent rockets from being transferred into Lebanon via Syria (and has most likely been aiding such efforts) I think it is safe to say this is all being done with the blessing of the United Nations, which is supposed to be enforcing the peace (HAHAHAHAHA!!!), while they play stupid and have just been given permission to investigate the IDF's operations during the so-called flotilla incident (how stupid is Bibi and his leftists cronies to allow that? It boggles the mind.).

So if the AP has an explanation for their biased, unsubstantiated reporting I'd love to hear it. If you're interested in seeing an even more biased account go to Yahoo's running of the Reuters version. It's classic.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Lieutenant Colonel (Res) Dov Harari (may G-d avenge his blood), and to the company commander (Captain) who was critically wounded. May he recover fully and speedily, B"H.

For more on this story check out Daled Amos' coverage of the altered caption at AP for the photo they are currently not running with the story. Also more at The Lid.

And My Right Word asks...where was the Israeli media?

UPDATE:

Ynet is reporting that UNIFIL has admitted that after touring the scene the Lebanese Army had no right to open fire on the IDF (H/T to Daled Amos Interesting. UNIFIL deputy spokesman Andrea Tenenti said earlier that UNIFIL could not confirm whether IDF operations were coordinated with UNIFIL. Any guesses as to whether the AP or Reuters will change the tenor of their articles, that accuse Israel of aggression?

Will there be a UN condemnation against Lebanon for its unjustified firing on Israel? How about from the White House? The European Union? David Cameron? Anybody?

More Genius From The Terrorists

I love this kind of story. There was an explosion at the home of Hamas terrorist scumbag Ala a-Nadaf early Monday morning. As a result the building collapsed. As many as 30 may have been injured with several killed.

L'chaim!

The Hamas of course blamed the Israeli Air Force, but the IAF declared it was not running any operations in the area overnight, an easily verifiable statement. Yesterday the IAF bombed 2 smuggling tunnels in response to the rocketing of a children's hydrotherapy center in Sderot with a kassam rocket. The facility provides therapy for special needs children from the western Negev, and from all over Israel. Naturally the UNHRC had no comment. UN General Secretary Ban Ki Moon also had no comment. There was no comment from Resident Marack...he was probably playing golf (isn't it strange how the Shrub's vacations and recreational outings were always well documented by the press, but when Blowbie goes a golfin' say while the Gulf of Mexico is being flooded with oil, or his pet Hamas is rocketing Israel...?). If you'd like to see the damage caused by the rockets that the useful idiot lefty bloggers characterize as no big deal you can see a little video here.

Let me just take a moment here to throw out a question. Why only bomb 2 smuggling tunnels? How about bombing all the tunnels they have intelligence on? Is that asking too much, or should I just stop making sense?

For those of you still keeping score, nearly 400 rockets have fallen on Israel since the ceasefire of Operation Cast Lead. There has not even been one statement of condemnation by the UN for these attacks. Israel however is once again demanding that the UN condemn these rocket attacks. I will become Pope first.

So now it's time for a little OMV quiz to test your Middle East Terrorism acumen.

The explosion at the a-Nadaf house was the result of:

  1. An improper mixing of acids and bases
  2. a-Nadaf farting near a pilot light after eating too much faul
  3. A work related accident in which stupid idiot genocidal terrorists prematurely sent themselves to their 72 virgins
While number 2 is compelling, the answer is 3. The only thing better than idiot terrorists blowing themselves up while making rockets to launch at Israel is terrorists openly killing each other in the streets. Please can we have some more of that?

Ashkelon was hit with a grad rocket a couple days ago. This is not a home made rocket, it is more like a katyusha. Speaking of katyushas, 5 of them his the southern city of Eilat today.

Once it is determined who fired the katyushas, I wonder how Israel will respond? Maybe they'll drop fake mustaches.
