How can one be compelled to accept slavery? I simply refuse to do the master's bidding. He may torture me, break my bones to atoms and even kill me. He will then have my dead body, not my obedience. Ultimately, therefore, it is I who am the victor and not he, for he has failed in getting me to do what he wanted done. ~ Mahatma Gandhi
If I am not for myself, who will be for me? If I am not for others, what am I? If not now, when? ~ Rav Hillel, Pirke Avot

The Likud Dies and Yesha is Betrayed

A Likud activists conference in Tel Aviv saw the presence of only three Likud MKs today. These three are the only ones who have proven they are not in Bibi's pocket, and will not be complicit in the betrayal of Yesha. These heros are: Danny Danon, Tzipi Hotovely, and Yariv Levin. At this time, these are the only three Likud MKs in the government on whom Yesha can depend and, despite their stance and strong words, they will not be enough to stem the tide that is driving to the third destruction of Jewish communities in Eretz Yisrael at the hands of fellow Jews, in the name of ceding land to the sworn enemies of the Jewish people.

Danny Danon said:
“We are here to stop the erosion that could lead us to dangerous places. This is not a toast – it is a gathering for awakening.”

Arutz Sheva reported:
Danon turned rhetorically to Netanyahu, who was not present, and asked him to “take the book that you wrote, 'A Place Under the Sun,' to [U.S. President Barack] Obama and continue in the path of the Likud.”

Tzipi Hotovely said:
“the Land of Israel is not an election fad. "Time after time the people vote for the Right and receive something else – we are here to make sure that the people get what they voted for.”

Unfortunately for Danon, Hotovely, and Yesha, Bibi is continuing the path of Likud, whose slow painful death, which has cost Israel dearly over the years in land and blood, began when Menachem Begin gave the Sinai back to Egypt. Since then we have watched as Likud members, including Israeli icon Ariel Sharon, dismantled Jewish communities and gave our land to genocidal terrorists. To Bibi, the Land of Israel is and election fad.

The absence of so many Likud ministers that were expected to come today is the final indication to me that Likud is dead. The remainder of the MKs, and Bibi Netanyahu, should be true to who they are, leave the Likud, and join the betrayers of Israel in Kadima. The only difference between Kadima and Likud now is that Tzipi Livni would destroy all Yesha communities, give up Jerusalem, and Yehuda and Shomron overnight, while Bibi will do it piecemeal, slowly and painfully, all the while pretending he loves Israel and cares about its security.

I think that now Manhigut Yehudit's efforts to take control of Likud may be in vain. There is nothing to take control of now. It's just another Leftist tool, hollow and empty, with no love of Eretz Yisrael, and no thought for Jewish values, or commitment to land in its heart. Better that Feiglin take his faction and unify the true nationalists under one banner if possible. All these separate parties have no hope of gaining control. If a unification does not happen, and happen soon, the Jews of Yesha will be betrayed. Yehuda and Shomron will be surrendered to our enemies, and the redemption of Am and Eretz Yisrael will take a bitter and painful path. The only other hope is that Bibi is removed from the party leadership. Considering only 250 people showed up today, barring a miracle, I see that as highly unlikely.

Like the dupes of the United States who fell for Marack, the people of Israel fell for Bibi. His book is a lie. His persona is a lie. His claimed devotion to Israel is a lie. I cannot say what is the best course of action at the moment, but I do know what Yeshayahu tells us in the reading for this coming Shabbat:

לְמַעַן צִיּוֹן לֹא אֶחֱשֶׁה, וּלְמַעַן יְרוּשָׁלִַם לֹא אֶשְׁקוֹט, עַד-יֵצֵא כַנֹּגַהּ צִדְקָהּ, וִישׁוּעָתָהּ כְּלַפִּיד יִבְעָר

"For Zion's sake will I not hold My peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until her triumph go forth as brightness, and her salvation as a torch that burneth."

The Yesha Council has called an urgent meeting for tomorrow to discuss the impending freeze, and the launching of a sweeping campaign against what is fast becoming the impending destruction of the Jewish presence in the heart of the Land of Israel.

Chazak v'amatz!

B"H

We keep making the same mistakes over again, expecting different results,...which is insanity.

Just to make sure you know,...the Yesha Council is NO friend to Yo"Sh. {There is no more Azza, and it's their fault.}

You must see this film exposing them. It's only 40 minutes. You will not believe the footage catching them in the act. It's in English and Hebrew w/English subtitles.

You are absolutely right. It's like Am Yisrael has Munchausen by proxy or something. And you are also right about the Yesha Council. They betrayed all of Israel. I guess I'm still trying to get my head around that.

I commented at Shiloh Musings that we cannot rely on politicians to save Yesha. It is the people, kol Yisrael, that must do it. Perhaps then, when we stand up, as we read about HaShem doing in the Haftorah this week, we will merit rebuilding the Beit HaMikdash.

I highly recommend taking the time to see this film.

Batya and I are very much on the same page.

We used to bump into each other a lot tremping, too, in the Shomron.

I think you had posted part of it recently. I will watch the whole thing and put it up here too. It is as I feared. Does the Psalmist not ask, "In whom shall I place my trust?" We must stand by each other, and place our trust in HaShem. We certainly can't rely on the politicians, and not even some Rabbis.

I'm starting to see that our merit to rebuild the Beit HaMikdash lies in the will of people to do what is right here and resist and confound those who would use the Crown for their own ends. We were lambs to the slaughter for the Nazis. We must not be lambs at the hands of our own people.

I'm absolutely agree with this written up. Now is the time to consolidate the righteous power and actively to do correct things. Most of people are righteous but too much brainwashing is coming from left. Did you haired that Min of "defense" - Barak said that "Avoda" loosing election because they turned left TOO much. So, it means that they will start another round of brainwashing. Most of people in Eretz Yisrael do not know of existence or do not trust to this small Party "Yehud Leumi" by some points. 1.it is too small and will never have a power. 2. They are associate the party with religious people but lot of righteous electors are not religious. 3. People wish to have a strong country with strong representative government but from the time of "Altalena" they do not see it and big part of electors are not participants of election. 4. "Yehud Leumi" need to create the image of parti for ALL Jewish people in the country but not just party of settlers. C.T.R.
It's need to start from the time of "Altalena" and do not be afraid to smash the left nose to the right side even if it is with blood. First of all it is about gov. institutions occupied from left and created mafia on the basis of "democracy".
