It's the same in any lingo

How can one be compelled to accept slavery? I simply refuse to do the master's bidding. He may torture me, break my bones to atoms and even kill me. He will then have my dead body, not my obedience. Ultimately, therefore, it is I who am the victor and not he, for he has failed in getting me to do what he wanted done. ~ Mahatma Gandhi
If I am not for myself, who will be for me? If I am not for others, what am I? If not now, when? ~ Rav Hillel, Pirke Avot

Shavuah Tov! Israel Calls Out The Barry Administration

Israeli officials are openly rejecting Secretary Clinton's false assertion that there was no agreement between Israel and the Shrub on settlements.
"Israeli officials...have maintained that Jerusalem retained tacit US approval to
build in already existing settlements, so long as new settlements were not
created, the lines of the settlements' boundaries did not expand and no
government aid was given to these residents.

Some Israeli officials are contending that the US is backtracking on
previous understandings which were vital to Israel supporting both the Gaza
disengagement, and the road map, a three-stage process leading towards a
Palestinian state which called for a halt to settlement construction,
including for natural growth."
~snip~
Clinton and other State Department officials have also repeatedly refused to
endorse a written document in 2004 from then US president George W. Bush to
former prime minister Ariel Sharon, in which he acknowledged that it was not
realistic to expect Israel to pull back completely to the June 1967 lines,
something Israel interpreted as US support for its holding on to the large
settlement blocs close to the Green Line.
So what the Pajama administration has done is given Netanyahu a very large door with which it could exit from the roadmap entirely. If the current administration is not going to honor agreements made with the previous administration then Israel has no obligation to any other agreements made with that administration. That would mean Israel's endorsement of the roadmap itself, an endorsement that was made by a previous Israeli government. If we follow Pajama logic Israel could decide it's not obligated to Oslo. After all, that agreement was made with Yitzchak Rabin...and he's dead.

Hillary, really...how are able to do this with a straight face? This is getting ridiculous. I wonder what George will ask you tomorrow morning on "This Week." Will he dare ask you about this? What will you say? It will be little early for popcorn. I'll also have my barf bag handy.

It's gonna be one helluva week.

She turned me off when she was on Greta a few nights ago...so I turned HER off. She spoke like a zombie, heaping praise on Obama's big Mideast trip...

UGH!!

She could walk away at any time. If she follows Powell this will happen when it's far too late, and completely meaningless.

IA I turned her off too. She was stumbling on words not her style so yes I agree she has become an Obozo zombie! The question of the day: Does Hillary still have cajones? So far she doesn't appear to have any fight left in her.

on amusing news, at TC smeone is being utterly appalled that Obama told the Palestinians to stop the violence by linking to some deluded fool (http://whateveritisimagainstit.blogspot.com) Apparently having the palestinians not kill Jews is an awful thing. Funny how antisemitism works.

I can't watch what they are doing to Hillary.

Can somebody here wake me when this is over?

I just woke up. I missed the interview. Is she waxing poetic about the speech again? I watched part of the Greta interview and was ill. Traveling through the blogosphere and reading what people are writing about how great she sounds, and how wonderful...I have news for them...they sound like frickin' Obots. What happened to a little objectivity?

I thought Hillary's healthcare plan was absolute bullshit, enabling the insurance companies, placating them by making them an integral part of the "universal healthcare" plan. I did argue that it was better than Pampers' because he didn't really have a plan. That was a no brainer. This is the kind of crap you have to deal with when you're dealing with politicians. But this gushing over her when all she's doing is being the good German, following orders...I'm not on board.

She's out in public representing everything we fought against. She's not making policy on Israel, China, Burma, or anything else. She's just his parrot. There's nothing to be excited about when you are watching someone either turning away from what they believe in, or revealing that they never believed in those things in the first place.

It's amazing what passes for integrity these days.

I mean, if she came out with revelations that could have him impeached before the end of the year then okay, I could accept that. If she resigned now and denounced him, I could accept that.

I keep hearing, "She knows what she's doing. There must be a plan. She's too smart for this."

It's about integrity. Whether you have an ulterior motive or not, lives hang in the balance on what comes out of the White House. I'm sorry, she's a human being, I'm not going to sit around in denial, holding out hope that she's doing this for some justifiable reason. I go with what I see and what that tells my gut. Motive or not, the road to hell is paved with good intentions, and the bodies of the dead.
