It's the same in any lingo

How can one be compelled to accept slavery? I simply refuse to do the master's bidding. He may torture me, break my bones to atoms and even kill me. He will then have my dead body, not my obedience. Ultimately, therefore, it is I who am the victor and not he, for he has failed in getting me to do what he wanted done. ~ Mahatma Gandhi
If I am not for myself, who will be for me? If I am not for others, what am I? If not now, when? ~ Rav Hillel, Pirke Avot

Did The Barry Just Screw Himself? (UPDATE)

Let's talk turkey for a moment. There has been a lot of stress lately among Jews about Resident Pajama's evolving policies regarding the Middle East. We just finished enduring his latest campaign speech (ACORN must be paving the way to register foreign nationals to vote in American elections from the way he was kissing Arab/Muslim ass in Cairo). While supporters of Israel are feeling some heat over the seemingly chronic calls for halting settlement construction, I am beginning to realize that The Barry has backed himself into a tighter corner than I thought. It really hit home yesterday as I began seeing the reaction from his global Arab/Muslim audience.

He openly condemned Israel which Arabs and Muslims always like, and made a clear connection between regional stability and resolving the conflict with the Arabs of the West Bank and Gaza. He has created the expectation that he will do this by throwing Israel under the bus, first with settlement freeze demands. But there are indications that a deal with Israel on settlements could be reached.

First and foremost, Bibi Netanyahu has signaled that he is going to continue to openly oppose the White House call for cessation of natural growth construction. He is not going to back down, and what the White House fails to understand is that he doesn't have to. The construction he is talking about has been accepted in agreements with Republican and Democratic administrations alike. He merely has to site these agreements. If Pajama chooses to break them it's an easy out for Bibi: you refuse to meet your obligations, then don't expect us to do anything about your demands. It's a similar message Israel is giving regarding he Palestinian Authority: you haven't met any of your obligations, not a single one, so shut up.

[UPDATE: JOSHUAPUNDIT reports that Secretary Clinton is now flat out lying regarding previous agreements between Israel and the United States, specifically with The Shrub regarding settlements. As I said, Israel is now free to completely set the Roadmap to Suicide on fire and walk away. As yet there is no indication as to the Israeli response. But I think it's clear that Hillary has been huffing the Hopium.]

And, as Caroline Glick has pointed out, the Israeli public now clearly sees Pajama as openly hostile to Israel. They will rally around Netanyahu's opposition to the Resident's interventionist policies. And there goes one of Abbas' scenarios; that the Israeli public would abandon Bibi, opening the door for Tzipi Livni to gain power and give Israel over to her enemies.
The only silver lining for Israelis from the president’s speech in Cairo and his general positions on the Middle East is that Obama has overplayed his hand. Far from bending to his will, a large majority of Israelis perceives Obama as a hostile force and has rallied in support of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu against the administration. This public support gives Netanyahu the maneuver room he needs to take the actions that Israel needs to take to defend against the prospect of a nuclear armed Iran and to assert its national rights and to defend itself against Palestinian terrorists and other Arab and non-Arab anti-Semites who wish it ill.
Polls in Israel are also indicating that the public understands that The Resident is advocating hostile policies against the Jewish state, and that Israelis approve of their Prime Minister's handling of The Barry.

But here's the reason that Pajama is really in a spot. His speech. The very stunt that he hoped would smooth things over for continuing Shrub's occupation of Iraq, escalated action in Afghanistan, and possible action in Pakistan, has done exactly what his stunts did here in America. He has created an expectation so high that there is no possible way he can meet it.

The Arabs/Muslims now expect America to manhandle Israel into submission. If and when he backs off the settlement issue, he will have very quickly proven that he is nothing but another American President who cannot be trusted (an assertion already put forward by Iran, and if anyone should know it is Iran. The reason we are in the mess with them that we are is because we toppled their government and replaced it with an authoritarian puppet regime which they are still angry about.).

It is also apparent that many of the major players that he hoped to bring in to the fold of love are not buying. Hamas likes the Muslim outreach, but will not recognize Israel. Iran still sees Pajama and America as that which cannot be trusted. Al-Qaeda essentially laughed at him. And what did he promise exactly to the Arab street, besides Israel on a plate? Is the United States going to free them from the authoritarian regimes that have been standing on their necks for generations? No. And frankly, those regimes, which Pajama is powerless to stop as they are a greater part of the world economic engine than the United States, which is now owned by the PROC, have a vested interest in Israel sticking around. It is the occassional fanning of the flames of Jew hate, and buying off Jihadists, that keeps their regimes around. If Israel no longer existed who would the princes have to blame the woes of the people on? The jihadists? I think if you asked who they would rather have running their countries, the princes or the jihadists, they'd pick the latter. Jihadists are about action, about doing something, like blowing things up and killing Jews. If blowing things up results in the killing of Jews so much the better. The princes are about the status quo; getting in bed with the West, and continuing to stand on the necks of the people.

Right now we are beginning to experience the backlash from those that supported Pajama. Folks are disillusioned. Some are even angry in America, strange as that seems. Just what do you think the reaction from the Arab/Muslim world is going to be when, like his lofty speeches and false promises to America, The Barry breaks his word and continues on like the Shrub? It's not going to be pretty.

In the meantime, as I mentioned last week, Israel is looking to make their relationship with Russia a little more snuggly, which makes perfect sense considering their mutual security interests, like avoiding a nuclear armed Iran, Muslim extremism, etc. It sounds like FM Lieberman had productive meetings with Putmedvedlavrov.

And while Pajama was donning Saudi gold chains, and weaving his Teleprompter magic in Cairo, the Europeans were sending a different message. Geert Wilders' anti-Euroislamification party gained 4 out of 25 seats being contested in the latest round of EU parliamentary elections. What? Not everyone is getting on board The Barry's Arabian love train? But he's the Barry. How could this be? Oh yeah, not everyone on the planet is as stupid as an Obamaborg.

and then there is this... my thanks to CINIE for pointing it out So I have known Islam on three continents before coming to the region where it was first revealed. That experience guides my conviction that partnership between America and Islam must be based on what Islam is, not what it isn’t. And I consider it part of my responsibility as President of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear.

he is a nut case

Dear Ms. Mandell,

You are operating under the false assumption that the current Resident has one ounce of compassion for the Jewish people. If he does, and you would be hard pressed to prove it, it is trumped by his need to be loved and the building of his legacy, as well as his ability to be reelected. He does not care about the cries of a Jewish mother in mourning. You are in the way. Israel is in the way. You are to be brushed aside and have only yourselves, and the Jews of Diaspora that still understand the purpose of a Jewish state to stand by you. Do not waste your heart on words that he cares not to read. Continue to prepare for the defense of Israel. Obama will make sure America is not there to protect you. As Lyndon Johnson told Israel prior to the Six Day War, if you move to protect yourselves you will stand alone.

On Obama being a nut case; look, there are things about Obama that are pretty obvious. He's a narcissist. He's a sociopath. He's still searching for a permanent father figure in his life and suffers from self-esteem issues as a result. He is a megalomaniac.

Nut case about sums it up.

What we don't need is everyone jumping up and down shouting, "See? See? He's a Muslim! He's a Muslim!" I see this all over the blogosphere.

I think it's safe to assume that, even if he doesn't practice, he was raised in the Islamic faith and that is where his sympathies lie; with a brutal misogynist religion that legitimates the genocide of Jews. But whether he is or not is not important.

What is important is his being removed from office. Whether it is by impeachment, disqualification, indictment, or resignation it needs to happen, and sooner rather than later.

You can't force a President of the United States out of office because of their religion so the sooner we get off that and keep our eyes on the prize the better off we'll be.
