It's the same in any lingo

How can one be compelled to accept slavery? I simply refuse to do the master's bidding. He may torture me, break my bones to atoms and even kill me. He will then have my dead body, not my obedience. Ultimately, therefore, it is I who am the victor and not he, for he has failed in getting me to do what he wanted done. ~ Mahatma Gandhi
If I am not for myself, who will be for me? If I am not for others, what am I? If not now, when? ~ Rav Hillel, Pirke Avot

Abandon All Hope Ye Who Enter Here

We tried to warn you.  We begged you not to do it.  We told you he was weak.  We told you he's a fraud.  We told you he's a flip flopping liar who will say and do anything to get elected (if you don't believe me then you can talk to the myriad of pledged delegates who reported to us that political careers were threatened, that they were pressured, etc to vote for the dumbass instead of the Democrat.

I should have been able to stay in Denver and watch a Democrat get nominated for President tonight.  Instead, I left so as not to witness the worst thing that's happened to the Democratic Party since...well...since Nancy Pelosi became Speaker of the House.

I was really looking forward to going to my County Board of Elections office and becoming a Democrat again.  But I simply won't be party to this bullshit.

The roll call was a sham.  They couldn't even let her delegates vote for her.  They had to intimidate them.  I thought she didn't have enough to get the nomination so what was the big deal to let the delegates operate in a fair vote?

I guess a fair an open roll call would have been a reminder that there was no outright winner of the primaries.  I guess it would have given automatic delegates a chance to vote for a real Democrat instead of that pompous ass from Chicago who sold Democratic Party ideals to the telecom companies that Bush is still using to tap our phones.  Then there's his plan for the privatizing of social security, offshore drilling, faux universal healthcare, rejection of public financing, waffling on withdrawal from Iraq...need I go on, or do you Obot douchebags need more reminders that you don't give a shit about the issues, just your demagogue?

Your guy bought this election and this convention with the same anti-democratic thuggery that has ruled Chicago since Mayor Daley the 1st took control of the city.  So now we have a candidate whose only change I believe in is that he'll rotate the recipients of our tax dollars from Haliburton to his Chicago pals while millions continue to go without health insurance.  That's just fucking great.

I keep hearing more and more that Democrats and Independents are going to say no deal to Pampers in November.  They didn't like his playing the race card.  They didn't like how his thugs gamed the caucuses and intimidated senior citizens.  They didn't like how he revealed himself to be a nut job narcissist with his faux presidential seal.  They didn't like how his asshole followers took over blogs bashing the Clintons whom they now expect to unite us (guess what fuckers...the fact that you like Obama is more than enough reason not to vote for him...maybe you should have thought of that before you spent a year shitting all over them, and her supporters).

Now we will gleefully watch your messiah be crushed under the heel of the Republican attack machine in the hopes that the corrupt DNC leadership will fall away and be replaced by those who embrace what the Democratic Party is supposed to be about.  And I will be the first to say, "I told you so."  He lost points going into his own convention, and the only reason he has any appreciable bounce at all is because of the very people his sheep followers attacked all year.  Well enjoy your one brief shining moment morons.  If McCain picks one of the people I think he is for his VP Pampers will lose the media in the wake of his Nuremberg Rally and JM will dominate the news cycle going into the RNC.  Bye bye bounce.

You little douche fucks wanted this ass?  Now you've got him.  In the words of Han Solo, "Good're gonna need it."
